Like you, I have things I need to work on as well. I'm fairly new at this game (hence the join date) but I do expose myself to different matchups and ask questions when I have any. I take the criticism seriously so I try to change things accordingly the next time i play. On top of that I think it's just being proactive about your learning. I have long stretches when I'm unable to play due to my work schedule so I cant improve as much as I want. I still lack experience versus certain characters so I lose to a lot of shenanigans since I've never seen them before. Luckily I've seen that Jin corner crossup from Shin before so all I had to do was react to it. I need to work on my reactions more when defending instead of yomi blocking and then getting exposed for my fraudulence lol.

LOL purple throws give you ample time to tech even on netplay. If youre opponent is doing a "purple throw loop" on you then you should know when to tech everytime since its a loop. If you're mashing you'll get throw reject miss so since you already know when the grab will come just wait and tech it. as for etiquette I agree with the statement of all's fair, just dont RQ. For the most part I dont blame my losses on anything else but on my own mistakes. If you know why you're losing and accept what youre doing wrong you'll bypass getting salty and maybe in the future be the salt bringer instead (o_o)b

lol oops. I was backdashing quite a bit though out of caution. Once I get in its just a matter of staying in on lambda. Like I was telling TD earlier, I feel as though I'm scared of my opponent all of the time, and it seems like that gets me in more trouble. Respect pressure? spacing? or mash buttons/dp? Usually I just end up blocking the whole time since mashing doesn't usually go well for me. Also yea I really should go to bed since I work tonight til tomorrow morning, but when I ran a few miles earlier it kept me awake hence why I signed back on haha T_T

I was just being cautious to see what swords you would throw out lol. Also I've been awake since yesterday so that wasn't helping at all. My brains been on autopilot so there was a lot of derping going on. Next time I'll play refreshed hopefully
