  1. Even when I do get it to come out, I can cancel fast enough, but when I go ahead and do 6D they always tech.
  2. How do I do jcc OD, in the overdrive corner combo? It starts off with 5C<6C, then jccOD. Do I jump cancel, then hit overdrive? Or what? Cause every time I try to do it. I can't land the 6D into bloodscythe.
  3. How do I safe jump with j.S? When I had him in the corner, I had some success doing things like 5k, c.S, 2S, Gunflame (RRC), 2p Wild Throw. Unfortunately the lag was really screwing with my timing in terms of combos. I couldn't do dustloops at all in that lag and I believe that had something to do with it. There were also problems with keeping Ky in the corner. He had 4 patterns he'd alternate on. He was either mashing 2p, DP, jumping out of the corner, or blocking like his life depended on it. I think I remember reading that doing 2k, 5k stops people attempting to jump out because the 2k into 5k catches it.
  4. So I'm still having trouble with the match up. Usually when we're in neutral he's beating me pretty badly. Throwing out things like f.S and c.S, I'm trying to convert these random hits into damage but I'm just not connecting. Also do note that this is netplay, I'm guessing the lag is making this fight worse than it should be. And usually when I'm trying to hurt him in neutral nothing is happeninghe's just blocking everything. Whenever I knock him down in the corner he's mashing 2p and throw and I'm trying to figure out how to beat it. Another thing is that usually when I have him knocked down I run up and do 5k, c.S, 2s,into gunflame on block. And I usually try to follow that up with fafnir, but I really can do anything to break his guard and it's frustrating me.
  5. I'm really terrible at learning how to move in this game and punishing landings. I'm continously getting blown up on the regular, and when I look at my replays I can't exactly correct it. I really have no idea how to move in this game as a front suit. I play unicorn and wing zero. And whenever I try and punish people's landings, it's always too late, or they land in a place where I can't hit them.
  6. This combo: 6B > 5D(1) > 623C >> 236C >> 236C > 3C > 22C > 236D > 5C > jc j.C > j.214C > 5D > 214A >> 214D I continue to miss the 5D after the 214C. Edit: Never mind. I'm stupid. I didn't read the thread nor the full list of ragna changes. That belial nerf makes me sad.
  7. (Sorry about this. This is just brain storm post trying to find solutions) Ok. I'm in training mode, and whenever noel does a drive, she takes a step back. From what little experimenting I've done, it seems as if she is punishable by 3C unless you're in the corner and she's at max range. In that scenario I have to do Gustav and rapid cancel. 5B whiffs, and 5C didn't counter so I can't follow it up with anything. Edit: So just to test. What I'm doing is this. Noel does 5D, 5A (hold 1 for the crouch block) On normal block, I can get a punish with Gustav and 3C. On IB...and if I'm close enough I can connect with 5b. Edit 2: I tried using growler on certain parts of her Drive and I'm getting mixed results. Sometimes Growler goes through, and other times it doesn't. Am I missing the punish or am I making Noel do her drive moves too slow?
  8. I'm still having issues doing 6 tk bs. Sometimes it comes out and my opponent ends up behind me, and sometimes it doesn't. I'm assuming that after I do 6A I have to do the 2147 motion, it just seems like whenever I try that I get regular BS. Sometimes I nail it right but I feel as if I'm doing 6A 214 all in the same motion. Then when I jump cancel the 6A I hit 7.
  9. I'm pretty sure someone posted this, but 4D is not lower body invul. Break. Her. Ankles. Whenever I think noel is about to throw out a 4D, I either 3D, 2D, or 3C, it might be hella stupid for me to do so, but I usually tag her and start that combo train.\ When I'm playing against noel I have trouble starting up my offense she usually does a whole bunch of drive moves and does that assault move where she goes to the other side. What can I do against that? Growler?
  10. When I'm playing online, I find it incredibly hard to hit people. Like I'm almost never in range to punish someone on landing, and usually whenever I'm in range they just punish me or melee me. What can I do to prevent that?
  11. If you see him rushing clean at you with zero system, you can always just try and block the csa. Or like you said, fly up and just cancel with amekyan. Or you can try fuwa fuwa it/fuwa step.
  12. So whats the consensus with Master Gundam? Is he still considered the Destroyer of Worlds? Or was it a premature reaction to F Drive and having Master Asia get all up in there?
  13. Wing Zero only gets one Zero System per deploy? That's...rough..that's hella rough.
  14. I don't know what he was talking about, but ZS still cuts tracking and it still makes Wing Zero a monster at melee range.

  16. Yeah, I just feel more comfortable with the Beam Magnum in my hands than the gatling gun.
  17. When do you guys think it's a good time to go into NT-D mode? And who do you think are Unicorn's top 3 partners? I usually like it when gunner zaku is my partner, those grenades and tomahawks man...so evil. That or Rozen Zulu, controlling the space with Psycho Jammer is so nice.
  18. You can cnacel your gerobi into 8B. The main combo that people are using is 8B and after the flip kick, the rainbow step either left or right, backwards depending on where they are and they fire a buster rifle shot. You can also do the 8b and fire the gerobi. The biggest thing I see people doing also is just going HAM on someone when they activate Zero System. In melee range they almost always do 8B.
  19. You just do one hit of BD8B, then you go off and do BBB, you can cancel from it, but I believe it helps with proration.
  20. No. It wouldn't be 451. There's damage scaling on the melee hits. Otherwise Epyon would be oneshotting units. And you will not get all the hits of the AB+follow up. They will be knocked out of it after the uppercut slash. And I'm not at home to test it, but your combo shouldn't be doing 378. 278 is more likely.
  21. NT-D mode stuff Gatling Gun does 15-159 damage and it is canceable to his sub weapon. AB Tonfa throw does 70 damage and does a light? stun and has a follow up. Hitting BB after this makes the unicorn throw you into the air and impale you on all 4 beam sabers then blast you into the sky. It does 216 for a grand total of 286 damage.(Devestating usage in a combo.) Jegan call does 94 damage NT-D hack (AC) does 60 damage and stuns NT-D melee combos BBBBB = 240 (dear lord does this thing hurt) 8BBB = 196 4/6 BBB = 199 2B = 92 BD 8B = 86 (amazing for pursuing people. It moves incredibly fast and you can rainbow step out of it, it's an incredible good chasing tool.) His most damaging combo in NT-D is BD 8B, BBB, rainbow step, AB BBB it does 278. There are more combos but I can't post them at the moment. I will later on tonight. Also Blast Burst is the preferred one to use with this because of much it helps NT-D mode get in and Unicorn mode to be bale to bd out of his shots. Assault Burst is really only for NT-D mode, but Blast Burst helps out overall.

  24. Meh, BK combos are silly with the timing. Mostly I just do Yami ni Kuwareo off 5d
  25. You were right, it's only on 5B that I can use 5C jC In the BK combo, the dummy techs whenever I go for 6D jC BE, apparently he's too high? Is it a timing issue on my part?
