Haha that's insane! I never see anyone on here online--at least not often. Hell I think the last time I did was xMillete a month and a half ago. Anyways I don't use coffin much because I always panic as the round is closing and start randomly throwing out super charged stuff. Works sometimes, well, every now and then. Something to work on. As for the 5D yeah no, the j.A, j.B, j.A, j.B, j.C is definitely my go to, I usually try to throw in an CDGarudyne in there at the end as well. What it really seems to come down to is me always using 5D after my standard 5C run--as stated above, I'm not that creative with my 5Ds apparently haha. But believe me I am aware of the glory you can do with a well done 5D-wallbounce combo, hell it's one of my favorite (And I'd say one of Liz's best) combos. Bottom line, I gotta get my 5D's goin, they're too good to miss out on.

Do it. I don't run into many Liz players online--and I don't get on here as much as I'd like to so any visual-info trade is welcome in my books haha
-
Haha I usually just stand there and throw a 5b to 2ab sweep. If that doesn't work I usually do a J.C and try to get away. Although I do throw in a 5C every now and then. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Lol, meaty 5D sounds a lot more reliable. Sometimes I try to 5a but people (Especially considering I run into a LOT of Yosuke's and Mitsurus online for some reason) usually get me first. Dem dead cat reflexes...

Ah alright, nah don't apologize it's my bad. Interesting thought, sounds legitimate. I've never tried 2Cing for a tech trap before, bloody genius. & Dem meaty 5Ds--I don't actually try them after my j.Cs amazingly, reading that makes me wonder what the hell I've been doing this whole time. Sounds brilliant lol. Learning a lot haha

Not sure I quite get what you're asking, but I have been actually trying to use B.Bufu a lot more lately because frankly, I've grown kind of fond of it for some reason. When you say you're wondering if B.Bufu has more potential, are you wondering if it is better than you/others initially thought, or if it's worse/useless in and of itself compared to A.Bufu/AB.Bufu? Personally, I find B.Bufu far superior--as long as you time it like a boss. As I've gotten over my slump online I've become more and more aware of how much aerial decimation/mid pushback I can do when I've timed it well. The jump-into-combo potential is obvious needless to say. Forgive me if I didn't help answer the question at all, I may just be confused.

What's your anti-corner game?

This, this, this Seriously, Labrys is hands down THE beginner character I've seen multiple people just pick her right up and get to work on her She kind of molds you into the game--as any beginner character should

Dayum shame, I was really hoping that Teddy was going to be he God tier when I first heard about this game. I could imagine it, the strange fur thing dominating everyone--tournaments full of Teddy players and their less then savory voice actors. Observing Mitsuru's ascension was awe inspiring. I mean if not Teddy then Naoto would've been cool--of course THATS an unfortunate joke.
-
Meh, I too play Liz and Chie's haven't been too bad, it's Yosuke's that really grind my gears personally That distance closing makes Liz very sad--God damn naruto wannabe and his goofy headphones
-
Well no I know that, I just meant tier wise I've heard either she's really high, or really low, or somewhere in between or out there No one seems to know for sure
-
Agreeable, and raises a good question What the hell is Naoto anyway?
-
I would thoroughly enjoy new characters While Liz and Aki were pretty much the only reason I got into this game initially, I would be very pleased to see moar, ESPECIALLY if they pulled em' from the first and second Personas Who wouldn't want that? Although looking at blazblue, that's probably going to take 2 more games before we have that kind of roster I hate waiting

Does anyone understand how PSR works in this game?
AeternumSomnium replied to Sol.Badguy's topic in P4A Online Play
Huh, I kind of respect it a little bit more now Although it kind of sucks if you don't really have the time--or patience to be persistant Either way, interesting -

AeternumSomnium replied to Sol.Badguy's topic in P4A Online Play
Good thread op I had always been curious about PSR, but I just assumed everyone had already discussed it so I didn't want to be and be the only one to bring it up again, glad someone else is curious too. I can't stand the ranking system to be honest, while it isn't that bad really--I find myself getting screwed every rank up match, brought to the end of the rope and barely holding on with a rank down match, and starting my shallow ascent back up the latter again only to repeat the vicious cycle. My percentage is about 70% so....that won't leave a lot of room to rank up when I get really high up--if I ever do. -
The tension seems to stem from a balancing act of new players who like to think they're better then everyone and either ad hominem or their way out of their problems and shortcomings--and a piece of the older crowd who despite their experience, are just condescending assholes on a power trip who treat everyone who they don't directly know as shit and as if they are incapable of contributing at all Kind of like high school all over again, cliques and all that jazz Then there's the decent people who help and don't have a stick up their ass when someone says something they don't like--They're the troopers I wonder what the math and a pie chart of that would look like? Someone should be a cool guy and make one.......

Depending on where you are, I've seen it somewhat compared to the Naruto fanbase If you know anything on that, you know that is a VERY bad thing to be compared to

It seems that no matter what type of game, be it mmo, fps, or fighting--online communities for every single one are known to be 'hostile' or harsh to some extent While a lot of it is imagined, still, that cloud of "Well that community sucks I hear" is virtually ubiquitous, ESPECIALLY with fighting game communities. I'm scared to discuss BB in some places because people get so worked up about how much they hate the community for it...dayum shame.
-
I take comfort in knowing some of the top players online haven't beaten Score Attack. With that, I say a pox to it.
-
The female thing was a joke, my bad Anyways, I wasn't referring to new players really, I was mainly referring to people who know full well what they're doing yet are just getting mad that they lost--I never said anything about new people to the game I've fought plenty of people (A few who's gamer tag I've seen on BB online) who were just, "Well, I'm about to lose, RQ" That's all I was trying to say Christ sorry if I offended anyone etc etc
-
If they quit games because of how "annoying" a character is they need to grow a pair, suck it up, and get over it, seriously. Or stop playing altogether. If every person online ragequit a game every time they were annoyed with a character - shit, online fighting would cease to exist almost instantaneously--or at least overnight.

Yeah no the Thanatos throw (Especially after the 5c) is really effective and I'm sure it's frustrating. Also those surprise lightning blasts are nasty effective too. I suppose I just figured that if they were some high tier character, they'd be worse because well, they'd trump you at every step. It's actually funny, using Liz - Aigis' (Who I hear are pretty high up) aren't super bad and I can usually stomp. But Mitsurus. . .well, she just dominates--as she should I suppose. Personally, Yosukes, Kanjis, and Mitsurus are HANDS DOWN the most horrible. I shed small tears for Liz everytime.

How much time have you put into them so far? To get through Elizabeth's and Akihiko's 30 challenges took me about 6 and a half hours of nonstop challenge mode rape. It was grueling, I imagine it's going to take long no matter what. Shit, Blazblue--Valkenhayn's, easily about 15 hours, and another 12 I think for Hazama's. (Only 5 for Relius--his combos are known to not be too difficult though) Most have agreed they're easier, but easy-easy? Nah man, nah. Also is anyone having a REALLY annoying time with online? It seems like almost every 3 or 4 battles I got one. And I'm using LIZ!!! Not high tier monsters! Whyyyyyyy

Coincidentally I just fought a Yu who did it a billion times Even beating him left a bitter taste in my mouth that reminded me an awful lot of-----ice car *dun dun dun*
-
On a bit of a side note Apparently people are comparing Ice Car to Yu's "Lightning Cycle" While I don't find it to be that bad or anywhere near as spammed, I can't help but find it pretty funny that the comparison (and this) was even made
