  3. Dogura's not the kind of a player who'd risk winning by trying to get an SSS rank while doing it. I wish he'd won at least one round with either 2C > BHS or unblockable BHS. If that was the case he would have won.
  4. I myself play Azrael so I rooted for Dogura but Galileo just deserved it in the end. I hope Arc Revo will be as interesting/inspiring to watch. Dogura's combos were more hype tho.

  9. The Mask Does Not Laugh is the most ruthless Ishiwatari track ever and that's why it's awesome. The Man is also good, Diva's fine too but there aren't enough chorus parts. Useless As A Lantern At Noon is awesome too. Good to hear the official version of Heavy Day at last. Really loving Bedman's theme, like the way the first riff is in triple signature but the second (main) changes it and the rest of the song into quadruple. Does anyone else find the sound of melody guitar in Ramlethal's theme little too soft? It kinda reminds me of Iron Maiden's Virtual XI album, I guess it's better than Calamity Trigger's so-much-treble-it-stings sound but still. After 4 edits my post layout is retarded.
  10. I marvel at the joyful energy that populates this thread whenever a new tier list is published. I wish there was some explanation to accompany the changes, or was it just that a Carl-god bodied all Litchi-players at Arcadia? Dora's list on the other hand is an interesting one. I wonder how is Terumi better than Tao? His mixup consists of jump canceling 5C and grabbing.

There was talk about j.D > RC > j.C combos, so from middle reset point, point-blank: [31%] 214C > (instant) 5B > j.BC > (delay) j.D > RC > j.C > 2C > 6D > TCL > 5B > aerial = 5162, for your random dash Sentinel hits. Now for something completely different, again from the middle reset point (max 5C distance): [40%] FC 5C > 6C > RC > airdash j.C > 5C > TCL > 5B > 2C > 5B > j.ABC > j.D = 4936, optimized for your combo video goodness.

  16. For 2B > 5D I'd rather recommend > 2C > 6D/3D for a new weakpoint, unless you're near corner and can do a followup aerial to TCL or have 50 heat to finish your opponent with BHS. Basic Hornet combo: [LW] 214D > j.C x 2-3 > j.2C > TCL > 3D or (5B >) 2C > 5B > aerial if in corner. or [50%][LW] 214D > j.C x 3 > (don't jump cancel) j.D > RC > B+C > 2A > TCL > 3D, around 5k. Good for pissing off grab happy Jins or Terumis, don't abuse in tourneys. I'd say Azrael/Kokonoe is even, Azrael/Mu is bad.
  17. Clean grounded Valiant hit, on aerial opponents you can hold D down slightly longer to allow them to drop closer to the ground.
  18. Terumi abuses air dash j.D zoning: that move has ass startup + it's a projectile + 6f of landing recovery > growler it or catch it with valiant/hornet GP. 6A should also work on reaction.

  22. Seems this thread has run a bit cold, but I just recently received my plexi and art from Art's. I have 2 artworks for my Soul Edition stick, one with Litchi and one with Noel.

Thus far the most optimized corner Valiant clean [uW]-hit combo I could find, plus works on the entire cast (timing with Arakune was tough tho): [uW] 236D > 6*5C > 6*6C > 6*j.C > 6*6B > 6*63214C > 5C > TCL > 5B > 2C > 3C > 6A > 6D = 4859 + weak point & 34 heat The only thing you have to worry about is the timing between Sentinel/5C & Cobra/Leopard to keep the opponent in the corner. But yeah, instead of 6D you can also do BHS or even Scud 'em if you feel like it. Edit: I think it's pretty safe to say that in place of 6D you can also do the IAD j.D > 2D lazy tech punish, even tho I hate inputting it.

  25. It's not so hard to combo into, especially if you've got a weak point you can use it to get 2. 5B > 5BB > Scud, with UW/LW 5B > 2C > 6D/3D > Scud or after any j.D/j.2D > Scud. For me personally I would have traded any of his buffs he got in 1.1 for a faster startup Scud.
