Huh? You want to buy an arcade cabin to play the game...? I think the amounts of money we are talking about are beyond our both's wallets... Not to mention that there aren't many places which sell that brand new RingEdge 2... Yeah, maybe it's cruel to say it's completely dead, since I haven't seen whether the arcade machines in Japan are empty for every single day... But let's say the "boom" has calmed down. The amount of news and videos has dropped quite much... And now that I mentioned that, the story appeared in the Nico Douga few hours ago. I'm nearly done subbing it... -

Actually, at Nico Douga they also took down every uploaded arcade mode... and those new songs from CP. So, people shouldn't get their hopes up for anymore music or arcade stories. Arc Cops will probably take those down much faster... Geez, I'm pretty much just waiting till they delete my account because of those arcade stories... Next BlueRadio has to be uploaded to DailyMotion or some other video site which more unknown to the Arc Cops. -

People probably haven't heard about this, but during the Barracuda Tournament, French Bread actually showed visual designs of two characters, Wagner and Adelheit, who appeared only in name at the story. This guy was asking if they would show those pictures on the game's official site. In-Birth's official Twitter answered something like "We'll see if that could be made possible..." Yeah... Game starts to be dead, but soon we'll start counting day until the release of soundtrack... It's exactly three weeks from today... AND WHERE'S MY ELTNUM STORY! It's the only one left, why can't I get to sub it... -

Raito is appearing in this event held in the arcade called Technopolis at Niigata, and they don't promise anything but they would like to play few songs from UNI. Loketests for 1.03 will be held at the Shinjuku's Club Sega. Version 1.03 changes: Major changes: - They have enhanced attack range and the amount of damage your guard can take during the Veil Off - They've added new EXS bonus you get when beaten in a combo. More attacks the combo has, bigger the bonus is. - You get also a EXS bonus based how long time you are in opponent's combo. - You can now see exactly how long (?) you have to wait till the GRD Break is over. System: - Infinite Worth will now always consume 200% of EXS - Number of bouncing from walls or ground will now reset after the combo stops (?) - Standing Shield now lasts for a little shorter time. - Dash attack command is now easier to enter. - Veil Off done during less than 200% EXS lasts for a little shorter time. - When Veil Off is done during a combo, it uses a little bit of players health and makes sure opponent doesn't fly away in a horizontally. - When you successfully block a middle attack, you'll gain now much more GRD - During the GRD Break time, amount of attacks you can continuously guard has been reduced. Carmine: - The maximum amount of "Buchinuke!" you can place was reduced to 2 at a time. - When you place a "Dissolve" and opponents command blackouts the screen (meaning big attacks like IW?), you'll now lose a health. Vatista: - If you keep placing and detonating "Si Deus Framentum" and opponent keeps guarding them, the detonation won't work when you place the sixth one. Seth: - The amount of EXS you get during the kicking part of his Infinite Worth became 0. Hilda: - Landing possibilities of her backstep were modified. Eltnum: - Landing possibilities after her spinning midair throw were modified - She can be selected without entering the hidden command. -

Yeah, wiki needs much work... and I nor anyone else doesn't seem to have much time. System explanations should be finished (since they are nearly done...) and then we could move to work with other stuff... I've only been trying to translate move names for there but... It's difficult. Someone who knows Latin should try to make some sense out of Vatista's moves... I'm completely clueless. At least I managed Waldstein's German moves... -

Sorry to disappoint, but the mook doesn't have Hilda's color variations nor the pictures of her moves as the mook was released before she was confirmed as a playble character. There is some concept art of her though... -

If you wanted to see Hyde's color variations, I've previously took a (bad) scan of them from that particular mook. I maybe should scan all of them and post to UNI wiki or something... But once I'm done subbing all these stories. Geez, that smart guy in NicoNico uploaded Seth's, Yuzu's and Hilda's stories all in one night. Is he/she torturing me or something... I can't never finish them all "quickly". Oh, the whole 22 minutes of Hilda's story mode including dialogue with every single character. Well, back to "work"... -

Well... EXS, Exist, Manifestation, Power of Manifestation and "Power of The Night" all mean the very same thing. I sometimes use Exist instead of EXS simply because it's easier to understand, for someone who doesn't know UNI very well, than those three letters. These "chuunibyou"-styled names in this game are kind a bothersome... It's like, why people don't call this game's health bar "Vital Vessel" gauge as the official name goes? Edit: Oh, official page has been updated. Surprise, Hilda will be officially released by tomorrow! No other changes to the current system. -

It's done. Yeah, weird Japanese is weird for someone who doesn't know the language well enough... But yeah, seems that special Voids like Merkava are the base of "Autonomic Nerves"... and Hilda would like to have Autonomic Nerves for herself... maybe as some kind of army? And now Vatista's, Yuzu's and Seth's (and later Hilda) stories are the only ones left... Very soon the whole story has been completed. -

UNI's official twitter has replied that tweet, it would be unfair as those who have their preliminary matches after the release of character could use her, but those who already played their preliminary matches weren't able to use her... Pretty much the fault is French Pan's as they decide to release character during tournament preliminaries. That response also means, that Hilda is probably allowed later in the other tournaments... -

Eltnum has her own music now! Sound damn good as all the music is this game! Wait... this is a remix/sound really similar of Actress Again's opening song. That explains the greatness ...and then some Orie comes and interupts the match with Eltnum. -

I thought 1.02 version was just announced for tests... but it's already released!? Since this stream was just few minutes before having nice Hilda vs. Hilda match... Carmine vs. Hilda, Orie vs. Hilda, Yuzuriha vs. Hilda and another Hilda mirror match samples also appeared. Probably even more are coming as keep watching the stream... Also, Hilda has been added to that victory digram thing... Bottom right of the screen most definitely says "1.02" or I'm just getting too old... Seth's arcade mode was also streamed. Ending was funny. They even bothered to make special sprites of Linne "captured" for the story mode conversations. Song playing during the staff credits was good and really similar to those in Melty Blood... -

So, I've been reading through the mook as much as my skills have allowed me to... And I now bring some info and scans/pics as promised... thought the quality might suck a little and pictures aren't resised, but please bear with them. I mentioned about a concept art which shows the evolution of Hyde's design. In this picture you can see him to advance from lolicon to Ragna the Bloodedge and finally to his current form... In the interview within the mook developers mention that it was thanks to BlazBlue producer, Toshimichi Mori's advice that Hyde became like he is. Mori was the one who encouraged developers to create "more protagonist-like protagonist" which changed the direction of his design. According to the mook, Hyde's real name is "Kido Haido" (城戸灰都) and Hyde is a pun from his first name, so everyone could remember the name easily. And here's also a little scan in which you can see all the color variations of Hyde and examples of his system animations... of course there's a version for every single character. Orie Paladia (オリエ・バラーディア) seems to be Orie's true name according to the mook. Paladia seems to be some kind of distortion of Greek for "wise girl". Then everyone in the staff distorted her last name into "Harada" as they were similar (in a Japanese way of wiriting)... And then developers decided to enter it to the game's setting... and the official reason is, that Orie enrolled into Japanese school using a name "Harada Orie" (原田織依). This pretty much confirms (?) that Hyde and Orie went to the same school as Hyde calls her Harada-san. Here's also some concept art which shows Orie's "Persona" a.k.a. Tanatos without her helmet. Everyone knew about this guy called "Keias" (Chaos?) who appears at beginning of Gordeau's story? He seems to be part of Amnesia and Gordeau's old friends from the time he was in the Amnesia. He seems potential playable character as he already has sprites for story mode chats... Then here's a character that couldn't make into the game "Mercedes". He was mean to use sketchbook as a weapon, which seems quite unfitting to the Hollow Night of gang wars. Description also seems to imply that he could actually have been a "reverse trap character", meaning he would've been actually a girl. Other characters that couldn't make into the game were "Chemeti" and "Londrekia". From the picture you can see that Londrekia wasn't in the game as his design was used as a base for creating Orie. Chemeti was meant to be really sadistic character. Only mentioned excuse for Chemeti to not be in the game was "because of certain reasons"... Also here's a big version of the mook's cover if someone can or wants to use that art for something... -

Official site is updated. Hilda will be playable in the next version up and other characters won't have any changes. Her location tests will be held tomorrow. Also, got my UNI Start Navi today. Book is looking quite good. Maybe posting some scans/pics later... But I got to say that one of these original plans of Hyde looks so much like Ragna... -

Mook preordered... Sample pages here with all that concept art looked interesting so I couldn't resist... I hope my kanji skills are enough to read at least some of the setting explanations written there... ...and I subbed Carmine's Story. Where are my stories of Merkava, Vatista and Yuzu? Those are the only "mysterious characters" left anymore... -

Here's pretty much the main points of that blog post: - They apologize for taking so long to work with the update. - They confirm that UNI doesn't happen in the same world as Tsukime/Melty Blood, so there's no need think any deeper into that... - They pretty much mean to say that this Eltnum and Sion are different people... - They describe that Eltnum "intrudes into their game" - Eltnum's guest appearence in the game is kind of a "pointless parody" - Eltnum doesn't really have anything to do with the "main story" of UNI - They feel little bad, but are also grateful of the attention Eltnum has gathered for the game - They talk about why Type Moon isn't mentioned in the "special thanks" of game's staff roll... - They don't currently plan adding more Type Moon characters even though many have started speculating about that... - They are thinking of continuing to work with this game (meaning sequel or just version ups?) It wasn't mentioned here before, but Eltnum's page is up on the game's official page... Her profile text mentions something about she hating the Rookies who disturb the order of The City of Night... and she aims to give them proper education (?). Page also confirms that Eltnum's voice actor is Satomi Akesaka, who today wrote a little about Eltnum in her blog describing her as a "character full of originality even though she might seem like a deja vu..." Yeah, sarcasm pretty much, I think... -

Why are people now surprised about Lex...? She has been avatar of UNIB's official Twitter account for quite a while... She was originally revealed about a year ago... in this Orie's birthday illustration. Later people were asking who the silver haired girl was, and her identity was explained here. Character is named Lex and she is also a part of "Licht Kreis", the organization in which Orie belongs to. So you could say she is Orie's friend, teammate or something like that. She spoke of "Oneesama-tachi" in that Q&A message, so she's probably younger than Orie... But well... I'm really not expecting her to be new playable character... since her costume nor boobs match with the ones in new character's teaser image. On the October 10th new character is probably revealed, but that is if this "big announcement" in next Comptiq really is about this new character... and not about the release of soundtrack...
