  1. Umm... Yes, it is Exe:Late... or to be more accurate, the version which was in the loketests month or so ago... Text in the stream says "In the middle of Exe:Late loketests" but those ended ages ago... Who knows, it could very well even be the final build... Anyways, today's site update told us details about the new systems. All "Force Function"s consume 1 GRD block, but they are also be usable even if you don't have any GRD Counter Assault a.k.a. "Guard Thrust" is executed with a command 214D while guarding. There's two ways to activate it though in both way you still need you to have 100 EXS... If you are in "Vorpal" state, you can consume the status to make "Guard Thrust". The other way to make it is by using 100 EXS... but doing it this way will end you up in "GRD Break" state. They said that next week they'll reveal the character page which has been a secret until now... Meaning pretty much Nanase...

  3. This week's site update was once again a small one. Geez, when are we getting a trailer or release date or something... Apparently the new issue of Arcadia (releasing on August 30th) will be having an article about "Exe:Late" featuring new info about the version up and listing of changes to the previous versions. Release date could be here? I hope we get to hear what's in the magazine / we get some scans from somewhere... On the other news, they teased about how the "In-Birth Front" (Ranking/Player Profile Site) will change after the version up. You can use In-Birth Front to buy new color palettes (Meaning all the characters get 10 new palettes?), icons and plates for your profile. In a nutshell, it will work the same way as Nesica with BBCP. Apparently you can also use certain keywords to build yourself a title (Same as P4A?) and use it to assemble teams. Anyways, sound good to me... though more details would be appriciated, French Pan...
  4. His color palette 10 "Legend Vermillion" is pretty close, but color of the sleeves is different... In the last Ustream Narita Producer talked that they could have it done sometime early next year.

  6. Move is different for every character. Chaos has completely invincible dodging move. And Hyde's move is that big slash. Gordeau apparently has some black lightning projectile... Seth has a special kind of Segment... It hasn't been mentioned whether it would guard break or not... But some characters may get move to break guards others dodging moves like Chaos or something else. Every character is supposed to have something different. It seems that people who went to loketests call that "Force Function" Anyways, I translated Chaos' stuff and some discriptions for fun... Ability: Shouei no EXS (EXS of Imitation Shadows) [umbral] Weapon: Konton no Houtei (Laws of Chaos) [Chaos Code] Name of his pet: Azi Dahaka About the Lizard Icon: Turns red when lizard is executing some kind of move. Turns green when recharging. When lizard has been overused icon turns black and lizard disappears until the icon has recharged. Move set: Code Reflect 6C Shield which eats projectiles and grows bigger. Can be special canceled when something hits the shield. Causes wall bounce. C>C Standard move and additional kick. B>B Standard move and additional kick. 2C (Aerial only) Over Head Kick. If it hits an enemy in the air, kick forces them down where they can be picked up by the lizard. Specials Are ga Emono da (That's the pray) 236 A/B/C (Aerial possible) Lizard rushes towards the opponent. A and C goes vertically towards the opponent. C ends with a hit that downs the opponent. B version goes diagonally... and is one of the Chaos' few anti-aerials. Fukitsukero (Blow out) 214 A/B/C (Aerial possible, chargeable) Lizards jumps diagonally and blows fire. Pretty much same move as Merkava has... Lizard rises higher in the B version than in A version. C version shoots three flames. Charging changes the course of flame a little. Aerial version leaves the lizard very vulrenable. Uchiharae (Repel away) 623 A/B/C Lizard jumps, swings its tail and blows enemies away. In B version lizard jumps higher than in A version. C version has multiple swings. Hisome (Conceal) 22 A/B/C Two-phase attack. First the lizard hides into a shadow and appears later below the opponent. A version appears before the opponent. B from behind when Chaos gets close to opponent. C version appears super fast behind the opponent, but takes a lot of Hardness-meter. Nijiri Yoru (Press on) Hold down A/B/C (Aerial possible) Lizard walks towards the enemy. Infinite Worth Dissect Barrage 41236+D Searches the opponent and magic circle appears below them. Activates fast. Has some invincibility. Useful countermove. Infinite Worth EXS Deep Revenance A+B+C+D No description what kind of move this is...
  7. In the previous Ustream they mentioned, that Nanase won't be playable when version up launches. She'll be added afterwards, but no estimate hasn't been given when she might be added.
  8. They are both universal. They mentioned that Guard Cancel is done by pressing forward + D during guarding. No special name was given to the new B+C action. They said that before only Vatista could do that (her Arma Belm move), but now holding B+C every character can now do a move which uses all the GRD gauge. Hyde has that big slash. Chaos has that Vivace-looking dodging move. They said that it is currently difficult to add Wagner as playable, since her story wouldn't make sense (because Gordeau's story says she isn't in that Hollow Night). They said we need to wait more (meaning pretty much that they need to make sequel with new story for her to be added). They also revealed that releasing the game in Steam turned out to be lot more difficult that they expected, so they don't know if that happens... They also said there could be another loketest, but they are aiming to release Exe:Late within August.
  9. I currently have two old episodes halfway done: TGS2011 episode and Hyper's 8th episode (XBLAZE). Next I'm thinking about finishing Hyper's 8th episode since the 10th episode will also be about XBLAZE. After those two, I'm free to do what ever I want so I could... I've been thinking if I should re-translate the old BlueFes episodes from the first season. But yeah, there are many great episodes so I'm open for requests.

But yeah, at least I've started working on this public recording today and the first 12 minutes of the episode have been translated... Let's see if I can make it to the very end without getting lazy and stopping in the halfway... Like what happened with the XBLAZE episode...

I was already outspeeded at uploading pictures, but here's summary on the things what happened and was mentioned during the stream: - Raito jokes around that "Why wasn't a port of BlazBlue released on Wii U's release" and "Why would anyone play fighting game on Wii anyways?" - Narita Producer mentions that he hasn't found UNI's soundtrack from any store in Akihabara and doubts "Do they actually even sell that soundtrack!?" CURRENT SITUATION: - They are working on bigger version up, which will be released around the spring. It makes the game compatible with Sega's All-Net ranking system - They said, they are planning to give information about the update quite soon. CONSOLE VERSION: - They get a damn lot of mail about it. - They are really confident, that making it will take some time. - People overseas also send a lot of requests and they have trouble figuring out which language the tweets often are... - Even today they were busy negotiating about the console version - Raito said "On nowadays it would be weird to release game on arcade, but not on consoles" - They've been running tests how easy the game is to port for consoles - Idea of giving up on consoles and releasing game on PC, since it's easier to port, has also been considered. - Playstation 3 version currently looks the most possible version to be made - They said, that PS3 version would also be easiest for international release. - But they really haven't given serious thought to international release, as the whole console version is still in the middle of planning. NAME ONLY CHARACTERS: - They released pictures of name-only characters on the stream and explained the settings around each character... - Each of these are under consideration wheather they will be released. - As you might soon notice... but Narita confirmed that Licht Kreis is an all-female organization Mika Ritaana (Pic 1 / Pic 2) - Orie's friend - The four girls usuallly work as a team to solve problems - She's responsible of power - Cheerful - Her friends tease her a lot - "Moves like a little Waldstein" Kaguya Seikaigu (Pic) - Honor-obsessed fighter - Uses two guns - Lately pistol-using characters have been appearing a lot in fighting games, so they are not sure how to make her different from others. - Producer Narita said she looks a bit too much like Orie, so her appearance might need tuning before she is ready to be added into the game Lex Altromeus (Pic) - Information responsible of "Harada Team" - Doesn't really like moving - Tsukkomi - Not fitting for battle (/as a playable character) - She's like those operators on anime's space battleships. Zenith (Pic) - 2nd high ranked person in Licht Kreis - Fights by throwing daggers - Is something teacher-like for "Harada Team" Adelheit (Pic 1 / Pic 2) - Leader of Licht Kreis - Her design hasn't changed a bit from the original - She looks more like something boss character-like, so she might not be appearing as a playable character. Elica Wagner (Pic 1 / Pic 2) - She's was actually a girl. - Wears a mask - Simple fighter with sword and shield - Narita says that UNI would need more simpler characters like her - Uses fire for her attacks - They mention that her cape is going to be troublesome to animate - Narita and Raito both would really like to add her to the game Caius (Pic 1 / Pic 2) - Everyone calls him "Gordeau's wife" - He was supposed to be playable when they game began to operate, but for some reason he isn't playable yet - Fights by commanding his Stand-like creature - His fighting style is what Orie's style was originally supposed to be. - Apparently the current Orie is lot more simpler than she was originally planned to be Radiata & Reflecta (Pic 1 / Pic 2) - Radiata is the red one, and Reflecta is the green one - Vatista's "Sister Machines", meaning they are also Autonomic Nerves - They fear that these two can't have enough different fighting styles from Vatista - and people would call them "clones" so they are thinking what to do with these two... Kuon (Pic) - They joke around, that these ahoges are starting to get weird... - Character designer designed him just as producer had imagined he would be - He's once again something boss-like, so won't probably be appearing as a playable - He needs to transform or something for the fights, so he would be "shocking enough" Enkiruu (Pic) - Amnesia's member - Even though everyone talks about "evil organization, Amnesia" it's kind a sad Hilda is the only member that actually appears - UNI doesn't have a classic "old man character" since Gordeau can be concidered too young - Narita says the design need some tuning, since he looks "a bit too normal" Unnamed character (Pic 1 / Pic 2) - Raito knows her as "Wind-user Girl (Temporary name)" - Uses wind to fight - Narita would have liked to make her a protagonist and kick Hyde away.
  13. Tweets say that French Bread is having a new "Behind the Bread Factory TV" broadcast on their Ustream channel tonight at 10 PM Japanese time (about 1 and half hours from now). French Bread also tweeted here that in the broadcast they would be talking about "a certain character" and upcoming stuff related to UNI.
  14. Description on Nico says, that these are ripped from the 3DS game "BlayzBloo: Clone Phantasma", so they pretty much are official stuff.

I thought romaji for that is "Aka, Watashi ga Egaku Ko no Sekai" the first kanji could be read as "kagaya" as well, so I'm not completely sure but since this game likes all kind of red stuff, I thought "aka" would be what they aimed for... Translation for this is something like "Brighten, the world of loneliness I paint". But really... the lyrics of this game's songs are quite interesting since they are sort of "linked" and few times reference to what were in the lyrics of other songs. Oh, and no one has yet to mention, but apparently they are going to have UNI's http://inbirth.info/topic0080.html"]official tournament called -OVER THE WORLD- This time obviously all the characters are allowed to be used. Final will be held on March 23th.
  16. OST will be released tomorrow, but knowing the Japanese, you really shouldn't expect them to upload it somewhere tomorrow... Maybe next week you can listen to it, when postman has delivered the CD for me or someone else on this forum, who bothered to pay a lot and import the CD.
  17. Illustrations of Wagner and Adelheit, who appeared in name only during the UNI story, were shown during the Barracuda tournament. French Pan said on Twitter that they would negotiate whether it would be possible to show those pictures on game's homepage. I translated those notes earlier, you can read them here. Version up hasn't been released yet, it's currently in loketests.

  19. Um... well yes, but nope. If you watch through the CP arcade opening and stop during the right frames you can see this which obviously shows that for some reason ArcSys' engrish localization drops "n" and calls it "Enchant Dragnov".
  20. To ruin everyone's fun even more, Mori mentions in the interview that "今一所懸命プロットを書いているところです" "I'm currently writing the plot (for console version) with all my might. So, people really shouldn't expect console version any time soon... Anyways, here are pretty much all the interesting information bits: - Currently the most used from the new characters are Bullet and Amane, and Tager and Jin from the old characters. - Tager is going by the name "beginner killer" - Mori though in CS that "combos were too long" and that resulted the changes. - Idea behind the CP's battle system was to "return to the basics" - Idea for the Overdrives was from the "Bloody Roar" - "Attack is the best defense" - Originally they wanted to give some kind of Overdrive system for Ragna in CS's story mode after he got the Idea Engine. But then he would've been the only character to have that system, so the idea wasn't used. - Pachi leaded the creation of Overdrive system's final concept. - Bullet was completely something character designer Katou is into. - "Shadow you can see from the gaps of hot pants is much better, than the one you can see from skirts.", Ishiwatari seems to have said to Mori. - Katou went to watch the new "Berserk Ougon Jidaihen" movies and said Yukinari, who voiced Casca in the film, was perfect to the role. So they ended up asking her to voice Bullet. - This time designs are by Katou, and Mori has done the final drawings. - Tsubaki and Valkenhayn were first characters designed completely by Katou. - Platinum was originally Mori's idea with normal twintails, but her current design and heart-shaped stick is something Katou came up with. - Originally Platinum was planned to fight with gigantic hammer and shout "Muchourin!" when swinging that hammer. - Sugita was the one to suggest Ishida Akira to voice Amane. - They wanted that "keeping distance" would be important for playing with Amane. - Idea for Amane's Astral Heat was from Pachi, who wanted to create something similar to "Midnight Bliss" (Demitri's move in "Capcom Fighting Jam") - BlazBlue has too many pretty boys, so they designed a macho guy, Azrael. - Mori complares Azrael to Biscuit Oliva from "Baki the Grappler" - Azrael was wanted to have completely different play style from normal characters. (They talk something about his revolver action differences and stuff...) - Mori says he doesn't like games in which all the combos need to be done aerial. - That's also one reason for Azrael's fighting style. - Izayoi is really "chuunibyou-styled" - Mori thinks she might be easier to use for beginners than the other new three characters. - Mori is the one who thought all "chuunibyou-terms" in BlazBlue like "Enchant Dragnov" written with the kanji "bougyakunoroi" (Atrocity Curse) and Izayoi's Gain Art written with the kanji "zoofukujin" (Amplification Battle Formation) - Lots of characters in the BlazBlue are tied to the past, so they decided to first solve problems of those from the Dark War - Ragna who doesn't care about past and Noel who doesn't have a past are in particular importance for the story. (Surprise) - The Imperator is going to have big role, since after the final scene of CS fans are pretty much expecting that, and they definitely would be mad if the Imperator wouldn't appear. - They will this time completely explain "What the world has become" - Mori seems to have played CS again, and said that Rachel's and Hakumen's explanations were difficult to understand, so this time better explanations. - Mori is currently writing the plot for console version. - Mori is happy that P4U seems to have raised a little the amount of fighting game players. - Mori would like even more people to play fighting games, since he doesn't want fighting games to become something like F1 - Players would like more difficult and skill-based playing, but Mori thinks that's the reason why the amount of players has decreased. - Mori would like to have more "famous BlazBlue player" so people could be like when Mori was younger and he went to play against Umehara in "Street Fighter Zero" at Ikebukuro. - Making BlueRadio takes damn much money. - BlueRadio keeps to continue as the President of ArcSys seems to like "festivals" - President of ArcSys was the only one to originally accept the idea of BlueRadio saying "If you think it's fun, then do it." - Mori would like to have BlueRadio episodes a little more shorter... - Originally they once thought about having two episodes per month when the release of console version was close. - More BlazBlue figures might be made if the upcoming Hakumen and Noel figures sell well. - Mori would be glad to make BlazBlue anime, if some animation studio would want to make it... but the funding and Blu-ray sales... - Mori still has bad memories of previous fighting game based animes. - Biggest problem Mori thinks is, that anime doesn't have enough screentime for all the characters. - Manga "Street Fighter: Sakura Ganbaru" is pretty much Mori's ideal way to make fighting game anime/manga. - Mori himself is also expecting for the next Guilty Gear, but Ishiwatari has yet said nothing about the matter.

I'd like to translate more, but there are no more videos now that Arc Cops started to hunt down everything spoilerish. This leads me to a question: Does anyone has those camrips of Litchi's and Noel's endings? I didn't figure to capture those for myself before those were taken down. So if anyone has those, I would like to try and translate those...

I originally translated those here, but this new list actually has one thing added: Eltnum: - It's now possible to cancel B-version of "Cutting Sync" to another special attack if the move gets guarded. Version 1.03 was in the loketest at the usual stream today, but had only few players... Well, of course I still have the subtitle files left, so I'm probably going to make another Youtube account and reupload all UNI stories into the Youtube again... But I thought about proof reading through all my translations, since there were some typos and bad errors, like confusing "shingen" and "shin'en".
