This is a slightly backwards way of approaching a game. If it combines the real time and action elements well, cool shit, if it doesn't, fair enough we move on/rage/shitbricks-- but what isn't reasonable is drawing loose comparisons to other games it only vaguely resembles and scorning it for not living up to goals that nobody ever had for it.
you can dislike the game for any inane reason you want of course, I dislike it for not being 2D, but in a reasonable/objective review we've got to establish some ground rules.
