At the moment, the information we've been given is mostly negative. Once we see some footage or hear more, I'm sure we'll understand more of the "good" I'm really looking forward to seeing her be different at all. Change is exciting.

We're unsure how those moves work so far, just having vague information from twitter. On paper she has a laundry list of nerfs, affecting everything from damage and hitboxes to invulnerability and special properties. I'm willing to wait until I see how this'll all play out though. We don't even have footage of her or her shadow yet.

I'm curious as well, but I'd say we need to wait and find out. Considering that fundamental aspects of the characters, like bnbs, might not be the same between both versions, it would make sense. Then again, if the differences are miniscule, then it might not matter.

Any chance we can get dedicated threads for Junpei and Yukari? It'd be nice to have all the up to date information in one place, instead of having to search through dozens of posts here.

Hopefully we can see some footage of the shadow versions of characters. I'm curious to see Yukari in-game as well, being one of my favorite p3 characters.

It'd be sweet if the shadow characters were different enough to warrant making separate threads just for them. I would go ham with Shadow Mitsuru.

I'm hoping all the shadow characters play a lot different from they're normal versions. From what I can tell, Shadow Kanji seems quite different, so maybe it'll be similar for the whole cast. Effectively doubling the roster would be really awesome.

This is my believe for all characters regarding nerfs and buffs. If you're going to take something away, you need to replace it with something that fills the same role, to the effect that was originally intended. Simply removing stuff is how you end up with EX Makoto. Since they seem to be adding new moves to each character and changing things as fundamental as the autocombos, I'm willing to have faith. We wont know where all the characters will end up until we can actually play the game for ourselves. It's just a loketest after all. Stuff can, and probably will, change. edit: I'm mostly just hoping that they succeed in breathing lots of new life into this game. I'm so hype for this right now. It seems like most people at the loketest REALLY feel like this is a brand new game, far from just a patch. I'm hoping we all get the same feeling.

It also seems that some of the other shadow characters have unique moves and combo paths. This makes me really curious to see what shadow mitsuru can do. edit: Made some more updates to the original post. I'm content for the moment. Need sleep, for realzies this time. -

I think I'm gonna catch some sleep and update this again tomorrow. Thanks for all the help thus far. It seems like They really wanted to Nerf Mitsuru. I'm willing to withhold judgement for now though. It's possible that she might gain a lot too, so we'll just need to wait until we see some footage. Hopefully we get some more information on her shadow soon. I'm really curious. edit: OK I can't sleep. Made a few more changes to the OP, also including some general information about the shadow versions of all characters. -

Much of it will be shamelessly copy/pasted from Omex's translation notes HERE From Translation Notes: "B Droit > 2A = still gone B droit has become slower Lots of moves have increased recovery, like j.c and marin karin Recovery after throw has been reduced(?) Shadow berserk mode is like OC from SF (Stunedge twitter) [*]Guardroll added. (Thanks Omex) [*]Air moves can now be used after backdash, seems like it's confirmed for all characters now. (Thanks Omex) [*]Whiffed DPs are not fatal counterable by all moves. False rumors [*]Damage seems significantly lower for ALL characters, not just Mitsuru [*]Normals used while short-hopping are not overheads (Looks that way) [*]All characters appear to have short-hop cancelable moves [*]Attacks can be performed quicker after short-hopping than in p4a [*]projectile invul from 1st frame for QE, Naoto trap, Yukiko agi, Mitsuru Bufula oki can all be dodged by wakeup QE *Stunedge [*]recovery time after counter hit on air gets shorter for every characters (e.g. Naoto 5A anti-air, Yukiko 2B counter hit) *Stunedge [*]AoA hit on air can be recovered very fast, no more guaranteed knockdown *Stunedge [*]S hold system, holding A button for while will automatically activate some skill which is slightly different than the regular one (e.g. Yukiko will activate C maharagi with invul time *Stunedge [*]

I'm hoping she'll lose here sweep/AoA oki. And maybe j.C should have upper body property. And maybe 5A shouldn't be +1. Oh and let us CH her AoA if we manage to block it. Sorry to bag on your character so much, but she's already bonkers without that stuff. I'm hoping they blow up mitsuru's proration and make something other than 5A viable in pressure, like her 2A. Also, JUNPPPPEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIII bout time. So we have GG +R, xrd, BBCP, and now a new persona to get hyped about. Fuck Capcom. Almost forgot about the anime there for a sec.
