By saying "OK" instead of "ok" I wasn't implying that he's ONLY OK or not good. It seems weird to me to type things like abbreviations or "ok" without capitalizing them. That said, I really REALLY do understand what you're saying and agree with it. It's clear that he has incredibly good fundamentals, but from what I've seen it's also clear that he probably goes all out on other games, taking Persona more casually. Fundamentals matter more than most things though. And I WILL continue to call out Chie's stupid properties and such, because she's too damn good. I'm aware of that for sure. Justin Wang proves that Fundamentals alone can be scary as hell in persona. (Not saying you don't play the game, it's supposed to be a complement)

Found my pool finally. The only person I'm worried about is Tokido and not actually that much. Marvin consoled me and found some VERY recent footage of a grand finals set. Haz told me that tournament entry will be $5 like always, so not to worry about it being $10. And as always we can bring a ps3 setup for our venue fee to be waved. Sounds pretty reasonable, and it seems like we might be able to get enough people.

Jimmy you're the best. If you guys are planning on going, then I will DEFINITELY be there. I need the practice, since lack of matches is killing me. New tech needs to be tried out in real matches. edit: Not sure if he'll make it a payed tournament though, hopefully not. I don't want anyone to be deterred like before, since this is one of the last chances for practice before evo.

I'm trying to figure out how to get ANY real amount of practice in before evo. I was planning on running sets with Marvin at Haz's but now he's going to UAT for Jon's thing, who says there wont be space for extra setups. Understandably, you wont be hosting this weekend Ruben, but is there any chance a few of us can get together and play some p4a? I feel like I'm about to miss my last chance for something, I just don't know what.

midscreen counter 5C [15] > 5DD > [4B] > [2B] > 2DD > [4B] > 2AB > c bufula > [6B] > 2AB > B coup... If I remember correctly it does 4800-ish. Not at my console to check. It's the exact same combo for 5DD except that it starts with 5C edit: just tried it for 4572 building 39 meter, if you add an A Myriad Arrows after the B coup, you get 5281.

The combo you posted "GC Burst > 2B 2DD > (walk under) > 5AA 5B 2AB > B Droit > D Bufudyne" does 2776 and requires you do use Bufudyne to get D-bufula oki. There's some stuff that CAN work for more damage but is unreliable because the spacing and timing doesn't always work depending on how far away they are after the burst. GC Burst > dash under 2B is possible but seems to be a little too awkward and unreliable for me, especially since different characters will be closer or farther away when you hit them. This seems to be the simplest for me... GC Burst > Dash under 5AA > 5B > 2AB > B Coup > 2B > C Bufula > 6B > B Coup > D Bufula. It does 2889, which isn't much of an improvement. It does however allow you do set up Mirror oki, which is preferable to me unless you can kill with a super. Speaking of which, you can't kill in combos that include guard cancels, so I would almost always choose to save the meter. Hope this helped a little bit. Keep in mind that for the 2B to connect the opponent must be as high as possible during the B coup, just like with a corner throw combo. It's actually really easy, so don't think too much of it. edit: It's also worth noting that you could choose to go for resets midscreen, so you could choose to 2AB > D Bufula outside of the corner. I'd still prefer to keep the corner, but it's worth it sometimes to be different.

Yup, each day except Friday and over the weekend. Instead of 9:00-5, I'm more like 12:00-9. It sucks. Like I said earlier, it's up to the players. If you would prefer the weekend, I'm fine with waiting. I'm positive we can find an earlier time where we're all available.
