The changes to the bike make sense as that item was ridiculously good, but the rage drink and mystery food X changes seem wonky and unintutive

This looks like a mild buff with throw being super cancellable and D moves being usable after EX Mystery Teddie

I'd like to go if the other regulars are willing to make it. Play some P4, arcana heart, and DFC

See the first page. The two main places right now are Galloping Ghost Arcade on Friday and Ignite on Monday. I'm not aware of any meetups in Illinois outside the Chicagoland area.

A local player best described Yosuke this way, "he is a mixup just by virtue of being on the screen". He's fast and doesn't need to commit to any of his normals. Off 2A, 5A, 5B pressure, expect either the mixup to come in the form of a grab or a glide crossup. Yosuke also has the speed to run up to you while you're air backdashing and 2B. Make sure he doesn't know where you're going to land when you're in the air. If he tries to do tentafaroo or 5D close to you, teddie screw him for a counterhit. If he throws out 5D or j.D and a longer range, use 2B and backdash cancel to take a card for him.

I got some good matchup experience on friday. One really useful too for her is going to be your 2B, which can sometimes hurt her if she decides to end her blockstring with j.B. 2B can also hit her persona with some safety and its backdash cancellable. As mentioned before, TVs are good for hitting her persona and blocking her 5B. SB teddie screw goes right through her 236A/B. Another thing I found out, after hitting 5D/2D, your persona is still out. If yukari tries to hit it with an arrow, there's a certain timing to pressing D again with the persona still out and it will give the persona some projectile invulnerability. This will save you a card - really useful, and not just for this matchup. One other thing to watch for, she can end her combos with feather flip SB arrow in the corner, which can give you either mute or confusion. Both are bad, but together they make it confusing on which way to block when you tech. Be aware of this setup.

To clarify for future posters, this thread applies to P4A, not P4U2. This thread will probably end up being archived soon.

Everyone could use more matchup experience against yukari, but here's what I've found so far. Yukari can be really difficult to catch with her zoning tools and feather flip. Her main zoning pressure involves using B button along with her 5D/2D that gives her arrows the ability to lock on to you. This leads to easy punishes of item toss. I've had some success using TVs to hit her persona and also block the arrow, but this needs some more testing. Breaking her persona seems like the optimal neutral game strategy along with getting some items out when you can.

Here is how I approach this matchup: Junpei does not have very good offensive tools to get in on you. The main ways he can get in are by using persona moves to cause a knockdown or his j.B. The persona moves are slow and easy to react to if you're paying attention. Either just block or roll through the persona and Junpei will be stuck with quite a bit recovery. The j.B is a much stronger move and has priority over your jumping normals. I recommend not testing him air to air. Instead really focus in on using 2B to remove that j.B offensive option from him. Once he's scared to use j.B, he has to take more risks and Teddie pressure should overwhelm him If he gets a hit on you, take a glance at how many runners he has on base. Burst if he has meter, is under ten runs, and is going to get a grand slam. Once he hits ten runs he goes up a tier level or two and is much harder to deal with. Don't let him get there. In neutral or offense, remember he can use his bat to knock some of your items back at you. Use your item pressure and long normals to keep him away or in your 5A spacing and you win.
