Excuse my absence. Life happened lol. So once I heard about Carmine kara throw I immediately found sound lab time and tried to find any and all setups that allows us to take advantage of this tech. Just incase anyone doesn't know; its PLinking 6B with A+D As of right now the only thing I can come up with is from point blank range and only a few button presses into kara throw. 5A, 9A, kara throw 5A, 2A, kara throw (personal fav) 2A, 2A, kara throw 3b, 2A, kara throw 5B, 2A, kara throw Catch my drift? The range carmine gains isn't much to brag about. So most C moves will put you out of range unless your ballsy enough to take a half step forward before committing to the throw. But it deff makes his stutter game way scarier. Especially on opponents who feel shielding is the answer to carmine pressure. If anyone has any tips or tech regarding the kara throw feel free to pitch in. Can't get better unless we all share right?! =D

Magaki never told a lie. Took the above and used it vs Shine, matchup feels a lot easier! Its still a terror when I end up in the corner but all hell breaks loose when he's stuck blocking lol. Thanks a lot

What's the answer to 66B > 22A pressure?

Hmm didn't know that he was free on wakeup. Always thought he could command grab me so I was always scared to get too close. Having Wald come to me seems like the better plan as I could probably get him to land a tk wheel or something. 3B anti-air doesn't seem too reliable though.

So I feel like i've reached a wall with my mixups as Carmine. As my rank gets higher and higher I feel like I'm having so much more difficulty opening people up. I think i've gone pretty stale. What do you guys do to keep your oki fresh?

So here are some player matches (1/5) vs SHINE_IS_DEAD (Rank #3 Waldstein IIRC) First things first, I really don't know how to deal with Waldstein. I haven't even tried to play as him in training mode before lol I knew absolutely nothing diving into this matchup. From the bits and pieces I did read about Waldstein it seems like i'd want to keep him as far away from me as possible. But that doesnt seem to fair very well playing as Carmine. In my experience its all about delaying the jump loop as much as possible to get 3B -> 2C to combo her. Linne needs to be as low to the ground as possible by the time 3B comes out. Not sure if its timing or luck but try using j.ACB instead of j.ABC or whatever your using in your combo. Let me know if this helps!

late night east coast games?

Do we have any linne specific combos? She's so tiny my typical combos (especially 2C jc.6B route) always drop vs her!

How do you guys deal with Hyde & Nanase pressure? Aside from learning to block the flowchart; are their any tricks carmine can pull off in particular to help lessen the load?

This. To be honest in my experience playing vs kuya I just go crazy from the jump and keep him on his back. All the tricks come out the bag until he dies lol I never want to deal with his mixups especially as carmine. Sorry I know that's not much "advice" but its just what I do haha. Anyone got any tips vs vatista? Everyone online does some really scrubby stuff and just camps in the top far corner and shoots fireballs all day. 22c won't even catch that high.

How do you guys feel about the Carmine matchup? Feels odd when most vatistas I run into just hide in the top corner and shoot stuff. Carmine can't seem to get up that high and that's how the match usually goes... Any input?

Pros/cons vs carmine?

First time playing a good gordeau. Holy Jesus Christmas this feels impossible! His pokes seem to always out range ours, his cmnd throw is madness and don't get me started on GRIM REAPAAHH. If he's dealing the pressure I feel carmine is done for. Maybe I just lack the experience here but I had absolutely no answers for this guy

Killey just gave us the holy grail, great write up! But back to my fraudulence, what's the most ideal oki after landing a throw? Maybe my spacing is off but everytime I try 214[a] I always get grabbed. Im assuming 236A/tk.236B is the best option?
