I've had no problem with sprite based fighters on my super slim, including BBCSEX. Unless CP is somehow going to be much more demanding, I doubt there will be an issue. Though, given what I've been hearing about the shelf life of the super slim, I'm really regretting not getting a regular slim...

This. Hell, Makoto, Litchi, Bullet sized busts actually have the opposite effect on me. It's exaggerated to the point that I cannot be attracted to it.

[CP] News & Gameplay Discussion (Old)
RifleAvenger replied to kosmos badgirl's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
LOL Famitsu scores. What don't they give high scores to? -
The true ending to Blazblue will be the cast teaming up to take down their creator, artist, and GOD, Mori. For all the awful things he's done to them/drawn them in.

Better than number 1. At the end, Noel seems all too happy about aiding the most wanted man in the world though... I always thought that her saving Ragna was a knee-jerk reaction, and when all was said and done she was pretty confused about what just happened (leading to her wanting to talk to Ragna, and he tells her to get lost, at the beginning of CS).

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
RifleAvenger replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
I suppose the goal is to block as well, and as long, as you can while Carmine expends HP to continue pressure. And DP out if the opponent starts autopiloting strings with gaps. Frankly, it seems similar to Chie or Narukami oki/pressure in P4A, in terms of being a vortex and really hard to escape from. So, while powerful (Yu and Chie are top tier, Carmine probably is in UNIB), it's nothing that can't be dealt with. Heck, I've endured nutty Yu pressure while playing Liz of all characters. @Putin: Chie oki, like Narukami, is free. The difference is that Chie tends to have stronger mixup, but can't extend the pressure for as long as Narukami can using Izanagi. To be honest though, functionally it's pretty much the same. Knockdown into nearly airtight oki, into mixup city. If EX wheel is needed in most cases for Carmine, I don't mind that at all. In that case he's got Ky oki that also drains his health. I'm fine with Carmine as he currently stands, in case that was ever unclear. -
There's got to be a plot summary for Xblaze's important bits somewhere. If it isn't just easter egg type stuff, I'm sure we'll be able to figure out how it fits in. And if it's just easter egg type stuff, I personally don't care.

Found this, by Dark Dragoon, in the sprite art thread. I'd want this. "Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road. Neither human, nor devil... all bends to my will."

I'm grateful for this, thank you Tong.

KOFXIII style (minus some of the stuff they allowed on Yuri) then, since you could make skin tones easy with RGB. I'd love if they could add something like that, but it's pretty pipe dream. They'd probably have to ban custom colors online too, to prevent seriously obnoxious monocolor palettes. I think I'd try remaking the Ky Kiske Jin alt. color, since in CP he only has Robo-Ky iirc.
-
Only if the colors we could choose were carefully limited to stop the glut of "lol nekkid" that would result otherwise. I'd probably try to make Makoto's design a bit more conservative. That way the local Hakumen player (who becomes physically ill if he sees anything arousing) could play the Makoto player.

You wait until it's actually released. Later this year according to Arcsys.

Could I get the lower leftmost Azrael in this picture, with two of the pink stars moved into it, and my username in Azrael's hair color somewhere on the image? Preferably with the rest of the images cropped out as much as possible.

Dengeki FIGHTING CLIMAX: Announced at TGS.

That white suit, red glasses Shizuo color looks so much like Katsuya from Persona 2: EP. Touma is Daigo in a can. -

If there's any sort of story behind this, I wouldn't be surprised if Shizuo didn't wind up in all this chasing after Izaya/due to Izaya's meddling. -

Waifu/husbando acquired. -
Considering that Rachel and Hazama both appeared in the beginning part where Ragna "dies" and both talk about things repeating etc., and then do it again later, I think I'd assume they were pretty important even if this were my first exposure.
-
Doesn't matter what his plans are; the scene at the intro and the one with Rachel essentially shows he knows what's going on, and thus is probably damn important as a villain. Villain status is granted by appearance and crazy evil laugh. Instead of being the creepy, yet cowardly, minor villain that people might think he was if they only had the Noel + Hazama scenes.

BlazBlue The Crunkfest (part 1: up! part 2: up!)
RifleAvenger replied to Shinobi!'s topic in Zepp Museum
Well, a friend of mine has a good mic I could borrow. I was thinking of trying out for Jin, but after seeing Shinsyn apply for Jin I'd actually rather see him do that part. Sadly, it doesn't look like we'll be seeing CP in this, so Amane is out of the question. I guess I can fill in for any medium to high toned male character or low toned female character that no one applies for. -
Poor work is poor work. Sure it might solely be a tie-in or a throw out to fans, but that doesn't make it any better as a show. Besides, if this were my first exposure to the series I'd never think to pick up the games based on the story (though tbh I didn't start playing BB for the story anyways).
-
I don't even think it's lack of explanation, I've seen shows that don't give stuff away outright and it's fine. The episode and how it moved just felt wrong. If I had better training in how to analyze shows etc. I'd be able to say why; sadly I can't finger the cause.

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)

Yuzu was doing about 3K meterless and 4-5K with meter in that vid. That's a significant reduction from before, when pretty much anything led to 4K-5K and starting out with meter was several thousand more. Also the combos don't take like half a minute now. Meter is also harder to get; before you could spend meter to extend a combo that would gain all that meter back. I wouldn't worry unless someone finds something that blows the combo system open. -
Pacing also refers to the flow of events within an episode. Which I feel was quite poor here. It feels disjointed, hopping from one scene to another. Swapping between Noel and Ragna's perspectives (and sometimes Rachel, though for some reason I didn't mind her cut-ins so much) is a big part of that. That Noel featured so prominently here also makes me doubt the theory that next episode is just Noel's take on things.
