  1. Even though Shiro lost to Galilieo he still played quite well, and at the end of the day he just got outplayed. And to be quite honest, I see our Valks lose to Litchi players more than anyone else. Still waiting on the rest of the Masashi/Zekuso matches though.
  2. Because we all know that ultimatums usually work.
  3. The possibilities are endless.
  4. I've always been on.
  5. What do you mean by a "couple more transformation opportunities"? Are you referring to 2C, 3C, and 5C being geschwind cancellable now? Regardless, I'd say that his combos have gotten easier for the most part. The w[7C] > j.D > j.C > 2A > 5B > 2C, etc link has almost been entirely removed which was one of the main things that new players had trouble with. And now our combos consist of a lot of 5C > 6D > j.A > 5D > h[5B > 2C > 6C > 2C > 6B > 2C > 236A > 5B > 2C > j.B > dj.B > j.C] type of stuff which is generally easier than our regular stuff. In addition, wolf IAD's seem to be largely omitted from our combos nowadays since w[5B] no longer launches and we now opt for easy mode w[5C > 6D > j.A] > 5D, etc. Some things haven't gotten easier though. Our neutral still has a learning curve, certain things such as the w[j.A] IOH and linking moves after 236B~236B have actually gotten harder, and we now have some weird stuff such as 5B > 5C > 6D > j.A > 5C > 236A > 6D > 5D > h[2C > 6B > 2C > tk.214B > IAD] > j.D > j.A > j.A > 5B > j.A > j.C > dj.D > h[j.C] which looks a bit hard. Overall, however; I'd say our combos have gotten a bit easier.
  6. That is not a silly question. I've been having the same issue.
  7. Hows dat neutral coming along.
  8. Out of curiosity, who was it?
  9. If you're asking if he should get the 1f activation alongside the 40% proration buff + combo-ability , than I'd say yes. Damage or 1f start-up, pick. Having both is just too much in my opinion.
  10. This thread needs more Hima. Kasu (VK) vs Hanyo (RA) - Kiba, take a look at this match. Don't use nacht jager people. Hah.

  12. I believe that TD meant to say 3C > 9D? Not sure. Either way, while it does feel easy in training mode it seems to get a bit finicky while spaced away from the opponent and I at times had issues with side switching and such mid-match. 8D feels much more reliable. For the j.C > 2D > jc > j.2C stuff make sure that you perform the jump cancel in the 9 direction and delay the j.2C as well. It feels a tad awkward at first (or at least, it did for me).
  13. GG's to givinguponlife. I got bodied, and was left a tad upset with the way I handled the mirror match today. Oh well.
  14. I was never able to do j.B > j.C > dj.B > j.C > BBL as the BBL would always blue beat. I just gave up and began omitting the 2nd j.B. Made my life much easier.
  15. Oh, I see. Well, you and me both. Her neutral game is extremely awkward for me right now, which is of no surprise. I also find that I'm very chincy with my wind usage and I seem to be treating it like a wolf gauge. I need to watch Extend Rachel play involving that N-O fellow that everyone seems to rave about. Yeah, pretty much this. Bang gets hit much more than Hazama does by BBL and because of that he stays in the air for a longer period of time, thus I have time to set-up 214A and 236A on the ground. Whereas, Hazama only gets hit a few times and falls down almost immediately. If I'm not mistaken, you can combo off of 6A without a CH or wind. I've been doing these two: 6A > 5B > sj.B > j.A > j.B > j.C > Jump Cancel > j.2C > j.214B 6A > 5B > sj.B > j.A > j.B > j.C > dj.B > j.C > j.236A
  16. To be quite honest Shyn, you're probably right. It could definitely go either way though. I figured that JC2 meant two w[j.C]'s but now that you mention it two beast cannon's does seem a bit more plausible. I think I need to stop being so picky about the combos that I put into this thread as I've sorta been brushing off the ones that I've been seeing in videos lately due to them being "not good enough". Ah well. Edit: Also, more than two people (Kiba and I) have now posted in this thread. Yay for pointless milestones.
  17. Additionally, why are you doing D before C? I remember a little while back I was attempting to get a few Rachel combos down (since she is in my top 3 favorite BlazBlue characters alongside Valkenhayn who is my favorite and Litchi being my second favorite). I was practicing this midscreen combo on Bang: 6A CH > Dash > 5B > j.C > 2D > Jump Cancel > j.2C > 236B > j.C > dj.C > j.214C > BBL > 214A > 236A > Dash > 3C(1) > 214C > (Frog) > 236A > 3C(1) > 214C > 3C(1) > 214B I finally got it down to a serviceable level and was quite pleased with myself as I enjoyed the way the combo looked. So, I went to try it out on Hazama (since I play someone who mains Hazama relatively regularly) and voila! Nope. Falls too quickly from BBL. I was also a tad frustrated with one of her corner BnBs: 5B > 5CDC > 214A > 3C(1) > 236A > (Frog) > Dash > 4B/6B > 5CC > Dash > 3C(1) > 214C > 3C(1) > 214A As the 214C would always blue beat. After doing a bit more research, I found out that when you're too close to them when you start the combo it blue beats (thus you should always add a 6B after the initial 5B if you can). Silly mistake on my part. Lastly, I found that the BBL > sj.8 > j.2C FC link was easier to perform on Ragna (as I couldn't do it on any other cast member for whatever reason, though to be fair I didn't try it out on too many different characters). All in all, I really like Rachel as a character in BlazBlue. I enjoy the amount of depth that she seemingly provides but with that being said the character-specificness is at times a bit overwhelming. But, it's the way she is. I knew that going in, and I accept that. Her neutral game is also pretty damn interesting as well. Fun stuff.
  18. Isn't this character specific? As in, it doesn't work on characters such as Noel, Litchi, etc.
  19. Kiba techs all of the throws.
  20. I'll make an attempt to transcribe them. The last two combos seem to be using the w[j.236B > 2D] > j.D > 2C, etc tech that Suuya regularly uses, here's an example. First combo: 3C > 236A > 2A > 5B > 2C > j.D > w[j.B > 3D > j.A > 5C > 236A] > 5D > 2C > 6B > 2C > tk.214B > 6C > 3C Second combo: 3C > 236A > 2A > 2C > 236C > 9D > w[j.B > j.C > j.236B > 2D] > j.D > 2C > 6B > 2C > tk.214B > 6C > 3C Third combo: 3C > 236A > 2A > 5B > 2C > j.D > w[j.B > j.C > dj.C > j.236B > 2D] > j.D > 2C > 6B > 2C > tk.214B > 6C > 3C
  21. I mash w[5A] so damn hard.
