  1. Ps3. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?16606-BlazBlue-CSEX-PSN-Tournament-%28September-6-2013-3pm-EST%29
  2. Congratulations to givinguponlife for winning the PSN netplay tournament. Also, GG's to everyone last night.
  3. No problem buddy. Pikachu's ignorance will never go unnoticed, not while I'm around. Your honor has been preserved.
  4. There are three three's in his name. Not two three's, three three's.
  5. Short answer: I am currently an incompetent Rachel player. Long answer: My neutral being poorly established also means that I have a hard time with zoning. Consequently, I have trouble with getting out the frog/pumpkin. When I do get out the pumpkin, I worry about losing my wind thus I don't use it often. Since I can't fall back on zoning/keepaway when I am low on wind I instead opt to just preserve my wind as much as possible. Make no mistake, the pumpkin is an amazing special move; but I just can't utilize it properly yet. This too.
  6. GG's to ShadovvWolfie, Safros, and CanineV2. Watching Safros land every Tager combo yet drop every Valkenhayn combo still retains it's comedic effect. My Rachel's neutral game is absolutely horrendous but as I always say, I'll get better. Just haven't had the time to sit down and watch a busload of high-level Rachel play. Using her is a blast though, such a fun character.
  7. To be perfectly honest, the Vita version is probably much better for someone who is just getting into the game. Assuming that they can play pad, of course. I personally prefer stick, but I can manage on pad. The best part about the Vita version is convenience, by far. I feel much more motivated to practice combos/setups due to easy accessibility. Aesthetically speaking it looks astounding on the Vita as well. And in comparison to it's console counterparts, the Vita's d-pad is far superior in my opinion. In terms of skill level on netplay, the bar is lower then the console versions. This is why I'd say that it's better for new people. However, unless both players have good wireless internet you may experience lag issues. In terms of connectivity it is not as good as a wired ps3/xbox. This is the Vita's biggest issue. Though, the price in comparison to other Vita games isn't too bad either. Last I checked it was $24.99 on the PSN store. If he begins to take the game more seriously I'd recommend the console version, but the Vita version is most definitely a good start. Edit: Also, in-case you're still a bit skeptical. Here is some old Vita netplay footage of mine that I recorded, please forgive the terrible quality. But yeah, you can do anything on the Vita that you can do on the consoles.
  8. Hah, figured I'd give Zenaku84 a chance but he ragequit on me as well today. Another one bites the dust.
  9. Begone from my sacred place. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?17119-Converse-one-star-N%C3%83%C2%A6sten-whitened-Special-uformel
  10. Na, Zekuso vs Abarenja was actually the first full Arc Revo match that we got. It's been posted on the first page as well.
  11. Well yeah, it's easier without the full combo. That's why I always recommend that people learn it without the combo first. If you can't do the w[5B] > j.D > j.B > dj.B > j.C ender one of your alternatives is the w[j.A > j.A > j.A] > dj.D > j.C ender which I personally prefer anyways. The 5B > 5C > 6D > j.A > 5D > h[5B > 5C > j.A > j.B > dj.B > j.C] stuff in CP is generally easier then what we currently do. But, the 5B > 5C > 6D > j.A > 5D > h[5B > 5C > tk.214B > IAD] > j.D > j.A > j.A > 5B > j.A > j.A > j.A > j.C > dj.D > h[j.C] stuff is probably a bit harder.
  12. Dat hunchback though. Everyone used to think Jill sucked too, but you still mained her. Hah. Well, you've got to remember that w[5B] no longer launches grounded opponents, so you'll be seeing a lot less of it. But it's still most definitely there. Nowadays people opt for 5B > 5C > 6D > j.A > 5D > h[5B > 5C > j.A > j.B > dj.B > j.C] or even 5B > 5C > 6D > j.A > 5D > h[5B > 5C > tk.214B > IAD] > j.D > j.A > j.A > 5B > j.A > j.A > j.A > j.C > dj.D > h[j.C] esque stuff. The w[j.A > j.A > j.A] > dj.D > j.C ender has also been slightly modified. You'll now mainly be seeing w[j.A > j.A > j.A > j.C] > dj.D > j.C. Technically speaking it's still there, but it's apparently become rather obsolete/implausible. We've seen it during actual CP footage though, here's the best example: (CO) [50%] j.C > RC > j.C > 5C > 236C > 2D > w[236B > j.236A > j.236B > 7D] > j.D > j.C > 2A > 5B > 2C > j.B > dj.B > j.C [3383 DMG, ??? HG].
  13. Well, he quit the very second that I killed him in the last round of the match without any lag prior to that. I myself have had a few very unusual disconnects (albeit rare). But it seemed pretty likely that he ragequit. I couldn't care less about win/loss ratio, or ranked matches for that matter (if I couldn't train while waiting for a ranked match I would never even do them). But I'd prefer a regular name as opposed to a red name. When you have a red name people automatically assume that you are a chronic ragequitter, which means that at times people will be less likely to play you. That guy is absolutely terrible. You should feel ashamed for losing to him.
  14. Out with the old and in with the new. Two ragequits in ranked today (by SlaveOfAllah510 and BadWolfBane) + Hi_Catachu's fake ragequit last night = I am now at 27 incomplete games with only 197 wins. Why do I play ranked again? I must be a glutton for ragequitters punishment. The wonders of netplay.
  15. Well, after 60+ or so matches of straight losing with Hazama/Tsubaki against my Valkenhayn Hi_Pikachu decided to switch to Noel and managed to scrub me out beat me fairly on his first try with her. I'd like to thank the academy, 4D, playing till 5:30a.m, and Hi_Pikachu for the games. Congratulations, you have now successfully removed my signature. The Noel gods would be so proud of you.
  16. Thanks. Dusk beat me to it. That was exactly it. Re-sized/cropped it so that It could fit as an avatar, the focal point of the picture was Rachel's hand petting Valkenhayn so I left that in. Looks nice.
  17. Divekick is a revolutionary 2-button fighter. Yeah, I like this avatar as well. Most people probably don't notice that it's Rachel's arm who is petting Valkenhayn in wolf form.
  18. Fuck Divekick? psycofang, I am disappoint.
  19. Certain games on the ps vita have a dedicated network/infrastructure mode wherein the player can go online without the need of ad hoc party. Examples being Soul Sacrifice, Little Big Planet, Resistance, Dragons Crown, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Blazblue Extend, Unit 13, Divekick, Playstation All Stars, etc.
  20. Unfortunately it only has Ad Hoc mode. But you can use Ad Hoc party, like you said.
  21. Since when does the Vita version of Guilty Gear have online play.
  22. Sometimes. Depends on who you play with.
  23. Example/tutorial: Collapsed: Step 1: Collapsed: Step 2: Collapsed: Step 3: Collapsed: Step 4:
  24. Aokiji Collapsed: Picture: Rob Lucci Collapsed: Picture: Would be my first and second choices respectively.
