Will anyone be online sometime after 4pm today to test my connection? Really hope there are no more problems from rogers. Or I can test with iora at around 5pm. -
Thanks Ctrlalwtf and Crimson Yamata for the games and showing me just how terrible I am

Dustloop account name/XBL Gamertag: CupofT/MADIntegrals Character: Hakumen State/Prov you are located: Ontario Might be a no show due to school. Also testing my connection now will be useless because I found a new sublet and have no idea what the connection is there. I will be able to test my new connection a week prior to the ranbat. -
Do you mean how someone learns brand new combos that no one has seen/posted/uploaded yet? Or someone learning combos that have been posted but never done before? Also Fuji and Katz do a good job answering your other questions. To repeat: trial and error. Pretty much unavoidable.

Any grip that doesn't give you carpal tunnel is a good grip

Pretty sure that's going to end up as a double jump forward. IAD is mainly practicing the input IMO. Don't get too frustrated if you can't IAD consistently. Keep practicing and you'll see some good improvement.

Thank you for the link. I'll see if I can make it next weekend.

Is the event on the A&C facebook page? Or is there somewhere else I can find some details?

http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?13874-EX-FOR-BEGINNERS-Hakumen-BnB-Combo-Tutorial-Video Check out the vid. Not sure if you have been there already but it might be another helpful resource for you. If you have time you can flip through specific character's combo thread and see if someone discusses a similar problem and read what solutions have been given. In terms of Hakumen's BnB with the falling J2C...I took about 6~ hours split between two days. When he jumps he bends his knees after reaching the peak of his jump. That is your cue to hit J2C. (Correct me if my information is wrong as I did not check which is Challenge 9)

Was the 623A necessary in this combo?
-
Yes Japanese console release. No idea when Aksys will release the game in NA and there is too much hype not to import and start learning the new mechanics. My friends have a PS3 and are close by and when it reaches NA shores I'll pick it up on XBox. Please continue uploading combo vids. The EX vids you have are very helpful.

Probably not the best place to be asking this but where is a good site to import this game (whenever ASW announces that release date for consoles)? PlayAsia?

Hold on, I think I missed something in the system changes. Do AHs still use the burst meter? I thought they didn't. Can someone clarify please

From what I've seen, PS3 is the way to go for anime fighters for tournaments.

4GB Xbox 360 with a few fighting games will be good enough to have your save data. The problem arises is when you want DLC for those games. SF4 has some pretty big DLC files if I recall. Also, mr. mortified makes a good point too. Downloading games, like mr. mortified said, will be something else to consider. My original post was only considering buying games that do not need anything like an installation, just save data.
