  1. Oh, well, next time I'm on SRK I'll remember to not skim through posts. EDIT: Before you get into numbers, does the device work in general with sticks?
  2. The guys over at SRK seem to have done that for you: http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?threads/cronus-adapter-360-ps3-support.161690/ They mention that dual mods are better and this thing is probably good for pad warriors at best.
  3. Thanks mAc. Will try them out when I get back in the lab tonight.
  4. Thanks for your reply dioxide. Usually I can't do anything off the 2B reset cause my brain is slow and takes a second to decide what to follow up with. I have another question as well, regarding your bnb videos with [starter] > renka(1) > kishuu > 2C > jB > j2C > AD > jB > jA > 2C > j2A > AD > j2A > jC. I was reading the other 19 pages of this thread a couple weeks back and watched a couple of your vids last night. Which part of the combo are you delaying? IIRC most people say to delay the first jB, but if I am seeing things right, are you delaying the jB after the first AD?
  5. Hey guys, after a 2B reset in the corner (corner combo but omit the 3C ender for a reset), what is a basic combo I should follow up with?
  6. No worries. I'll just remember to use the term Tri-modded more carefully. PCs are in their own land these days.
  7. I will keep that in mind in the future. Thanks
  8. Qanba's are the way to go. Pre-Tri modded stick (PS3, Xbox, PC). And for the finisher they are cheaper than buying a new stick and dual modding it. But if you have something against the chassis of the Qanba (or something about the Qanba bugs you) then I don't think you should get one. Having a stick you don't want to play on won't help you level up.
  9. Reading through these 25 pages of posts, I think we also need to define what "good" means. Like for those who have become "good" with character X in a week or 2 how "good" did you get? Combo-Master? Net-Play Champ? Top 8 at Majors?
  10. Flipping through this thread cause I want to make sure I have decent connection on BB which in turn should (I hope) equal just as decent connection for CP and GGACPR. I have no idea if you solved your problem by now but, if the router is wireless, doesn't that still defeat the purpose? I was under the impression that all devices needed to wired in this situation...
  11. For that you should probably contact the store you want to buy it from for the details.
  12. I don't know which specific part you should be buying. If you are Canadian you can check out CanadianJoysticks and see what PCB you want. Also you can look around Dustloop and see if there is a thread for joystick modders. I'm not sure if there is one on Dustloop because I was on Shoryuken forums 2 years ago where I found a guy in my area who could do mods (which mentioned he did mods on the TvC stick and that's why I know it can be modded). EDIT: or a joystick modder can show up and help you out
  13. Yes, the TvC Stick can be modded for playing on PS3/Xbox 360/PC. You can mod it yourself or you can find someone who is willing to.
  14. As Darago says, just poke around the forums he mentioned. In some character subforums, there are threads dedicated for people who critique other people's matches. Also I'm sure there are many people here on Dustloop who have headsets and can teach you through player matches.
  15. The DLC was what a lot of people were complaining about (and by DLC I mean "Disc Locked Content"). To get the extra 12 characters you had to pay another good 12-20 bucks or so. And all 12 characters were already on the disc so... Also the game's timer. 99 seconds in that game is too short, attack animations are super long and drain a lot of time or it's a problem with the health. But yeah, 99 seconds isn't enough most of the time
  16. If you are really serious about getting better in a FG then stop caring about win-loss and PSR. At the end of the day, they're just numbers.
  17. If you are having trouble handling losing, take a break from playing. A few days, a week, a month. Carefully read through all the posts the other guys have posted. During your time off think back to why you are even playing P4A in the first place. Do you play because you enjoy the game? Or are you just playing for the sake of just playing it?
