I am kinda of joking I don't think that SSF4AE2012 is terribad, but with each iteration the game became less and less fun to play FOR ME, and interestingly the scene of my country has also dropped it from the major part of gatherings and tournaments, too bad that they are playing umvc3 mostly now (a fun game, but i am starting to grow bored about it too) edit BTW, Balance =/= fun of course this doesn't mean that you can't have a balanced and fun game

Mr. Heart on HNK Potemkin (Not really infinites, but he had TOD's on GGX that also give life back, lol) As long as this logo is not on the game i always have faith that the game can get better Also to all the people overreacting by the game having dumb stuff, unless the game is really limited on what you can do (SF, BF, AP) you will always have this kind of stuff on the 1st iteration (and even games like SF, and BF had some type of infinites) I wouldn't worry about the dumb shit, as long as the company is willing to keep making better the game through revisions any game can get better.

  8. I don't remember what interview was, sorry. I only remember that they asked him if CP would be the last entry of the story of BB, and Mori said something like that BBCP was not the last entry, and that BB was no longer a trilogy, so we should expect some more entries (without counting any possible revision)
  9. It was already stated that BB would have more installments, is no longer a trilogy, plus "the trilogy" aspect of the story never took revisions in consideration.
  10. Lol Not every game needs to play similar to others, plus it would be cool to have a high stakes game for a change, that isn't marvel. I say that they should let it ride the damage as it is right now, why? because knowing that there is a good chance to get punished hard by a combo puts more emphasis on the player using his tools for the spacing game. And yes, i really believe that if the risk of trying to get in is high not to mention difficult, the reward for being able to do it should be proportional to it. The range of the characters is almost (if not in some cases) all the screen, the capability of controlling the space of many characters is really high, so having good damage makes sense to me. We have the rounds already taking almost all the 99 seconds despite the high damage and long combos, nerfing the damage just because "WAAAAAAAAHH, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH so much damage" wouldn't help the game to get better. If there is a need to be changed at least they need to try to test it before nerfing it, after what? almost 2 weeks after the release?, lets patch only the real "broken" stuff, chain shift, and maybe meter gain, with only those 2 the damage would decrease.

The thing is that on a game where you can expend zoning and spacing your opponent with your long range normals/specials with ease,specially if you consider that you need meter to do an air dash, doing good damage when you get it is not a bad thing imo, plus if they limit the usage of the chain shift on some way during the combos, then the amount of damage would be already getting a shaft.
  12. Right now, i think that the only change that the game needs is how the Chain Shift works, all the long combos and the infinites so far come from how the Chain Shift works. Now, i don't know how they would try to fix it (i could theorize some ways but that is just speculation that goes to no where) :P BTW What are the ways that Carmine gets health back? And does this game use Hit Stun Scaling? (It seems that it doesn't)

  15. Lol, if is an infinite involving Sion, i have to say that i am not surprised considering the amount of loops and quasi infinites that she had on MB, and how open ended is the combo system of UNIB By the nature of her design and the nature of the game that was quite expected

  17. On a game where all the normals have really long range and can keep the other opponent at bay with ease, having good damaging combos is not bad imo. If anything should be nerfed to make a little harder to do those combos is the Chain shift's duration, or make it that it needs to have a cool down after being activated, that way you cant enter on CS twice or more in a combo And maybe buff a little the amount of health that carmine receives. Other than that i find the game fine as it is right now. Dunno others but i find really sad that there are a lot of people who only think on nerfing and playing games with characters that instead of being strong, are bare bones or mediocre at best. I really, really hope that FB don't nerf Waldo, because he looks like a really interesting grappler design I am ok with this
