  3. Wait, what? How would the buttons get through the paper to the wiring below lol. Or do they have crazy buttons that let you put artwork on the inside of the button? Although honestly that's starting to get to the area of "too much effort" for me

Nice job, only extremely minor gripe would be that those "ABCD" areas would be cut out for actual use, so if really wanted to indicate which button is what you'd have to label "near" the button instead of on them. (which I would never do, because people can change them to whatever they want) As for the actual art I think it's a clever idea to combine the Arcade Style char profiles with FF7 :p What template did you use, incidentally/where can I get it?

  7. Well the thing that's nice about countering it with 5B is that he doesn't hit you, which means he can't use RC to save himself. In most situations you can easily just block this move and punish him afterwards. Yes it's a fast low at close range, but in general the way you block in this game is holding low block and reacting with high block when necessary anyway. As I've said before though, I see no reason for Arakune to use this against Tager in normal situations.

  9. His Drive is for closing the distance. Just be careful of people reacting with anti-airs. A good thing to do is to A cancel Ouroboros if it gets blocked, then shoot it immediately again. If they used an anti-air simply out of habit rather than reaction there's a good chance your second chain will find its mark. Hazama's got incredibly strong normals at close range (dat top tier), so don't be afraid to use em. If you're starting out, I recommend you not get into the habit of ending every single pressure string with 3C -> Falling Fang. It's really easy to predict and a lot of people will end up just 5A'ing you out of Falling Fang. Try throwing out Falling Fang really early in the string as a surprise High. Using it after the first hit of 5C usually works for me. Advice aside, there's not much you can do to become better at Hazama then practice, practice, practice. He may be a really strong character, but he does take a lot of familiarity.
  10. Why are we talking about 2C, I only mentioned it in passing reference to how much I hate it on Hazama. 2C is not the problem in this matchup! The only time I ever see Arakune even attempting it against Tager is if he thinks he can punish your VTC or something (Arakune's 2C is a FC so he might think it's worth a shot).
  11. I never even said any of them used 2C, none of them did. In fact I actually said Why are you under the impression I am blocking Arakune's 2C all day and getting free combos or something. Even against other characters Arakune's 2C is terrible. If Arakune wants to hit you low, he's going to use his 2A. Even when he has Curse Arakune simply has no reason to use this move. He's just gonna throw bugs out and 66 towards you because you can't stop him.
  12. With 5B, like I said? It's not exactly the fastest move in the world. At close/point blank range I'd just block it low like any other low, you only have to block one "hit" of it so you can easily do whatever you want to Arakune afterwards. During Curse I would recommend going straight into 360A, 720C, or Sledge for the sake of avoiding bugs. Outside of Curse you should go for a Fatal 2C after you block Arakune's 2C.
  13. This is the only matchup in this entire game that I have truly felt like: "Okay...I really can't do anything." If Valkenhayn wants the round timer to tick to 0, there's nothing you can do about it. It's really frustrating, because you definitely can win if Valkenhayn decides to attack you, but if he doesn't want to, you'll never be doing any fighting. The key thing that differentiates Valkenhayn from the others is his ability to run backwards. Thank you for the info TSN though, even if it doesn't solve the "turtling" problem this matchup has. lol this made my day.
  14. 2C is his running low, it goes under Ouroboros. And yes 5C is the other move I hate in that matchup. 2C is suicide against Tager though, as Tager's 5B can cleanly counter it on reaction. I'll keep a lookout for this Mr. Biscuits. I'll have PSN available to me soon (hopefully) so we'll see if I can find some on PSN.

  16. Nah it's not that, lol. I seriously am feeling not so well right now. My eyes are always strained after work too. Seriously I dunno why but whenever you 3C'ed me my brain would just jam and I'd just stare for like 3 seconds wondering what happened.
  17. I need a good Arakune to fight then, perhaps I have an innate attribute that makes Arakune's stuff suck against my Tager or something. I dunno how to explain, I just play the game and win. I have a much harder time against Arakune on Hazama (fucking 2C)

  22. Is Tager's backwards roll better than other peoples'? That seems really easy to do compared to say, Ragna... GGs, I'm so fucking burned out though lol. I get hit by 3C and I'm like :O............ *5 seconds later* ...OMG 3C IS DUMB wait what's going on I'm being grabbed ahhh what is this!
