I was looking through the main combo section and I was a bit confused with what are S and N starters. They seem to start with same normals to me. Also, are the combos also updated for 1.1? What are some bnb that I should start learning?

using jin. Does the dummy make a difference?

I'm still finding this quite hard. If I dash for too long, the dummy will block and if I try to 2b too fast, it's too short. The window for the hit to connect seems tight for me at the moment. Will need to practice this a lot.

well I'm practicing with this basic mid screen combo (j.B/j.C) > (5B/2B) > 6A > sj.C > j.D > (d.6B) > d.6C > d.2D > d.6B > 22C~66 > 6C > 6B > 4D > d.2D > d.5C > (d.5A) > 22B (2.7k-3.3k, 19%-23% I did try again tthis time by taking out the d.5A at the end and that seems to make things easier, but I'm still too late with my 2b afterwards.

I was trying to practice some 22b oki... and I set the dummy to roll backwards in mid screen. I can't seem to punish the roll with dash 2b at all after the 22b (hit once); did it like maybe 2 out 10 tries. Dummy seems to tech and roll way too fast for me to dash after it with a 2b. Is there any easy way to do this or should I just give up on oki midscreen with her?

Is there any good ways to confirm into 6A? I've been trying to do it via 5B > 2B > 6A or 5C. Still not getting it down.

I really need some help too... This is my first bb game and I just got online for the first time last night and I had no idea what to do. The only combos I could land consistently is the 5B > 5C > 236C. I just realized it's really hard to land most of the combos that I've practiced such as (j.C) > 5.B > 6A > sJ.C > etc in real match situations. I'm starting to watch the videos to try and figure out the block strings and ways to open people up. I see that some block strings like 2.A > 5.B > J.B > J.C > J.D > d.6B > d.5A > d.6A > etc for block string and mix up into drive moves. Is there any guide for noobs that I can look into? Types of confirms to practice what blockstring or combos to use in certain situation etc?

When and how do you go into drive block strings? and what are some good ones that I can use?

Darn that's too bad for you; especially given how much that must have costed. Well now that I'm not that hyped up anymore for it, I can move on at least.

To the ones who got the arc sys anniversary stick, how is it? I really want to get one, but I can't justify getting one when I already a good stick. Also, it doesn't seem like the arc sys stick is in stock anymore. And that shipping price just kills it for me.

Do other feel the same? Would it be better to just go with j.C > 6A instead of j.C > 66 > 5B > 6A?

I found out that noel needs to do a micro dash during her j.C jump in such as j.C > 66 > 5B > 6A > sj.C > j.D ... etc and have been practicing it, but I just can't seem to get used to it. I don't have problem with getting the dash out, but I do a lot of 6B instead of 5B after it. At times i just get a feel for it and it comes out natually for awhile then I lose that feel and keep mashing out 6B later. Other times, even if I get the 5B out, it is too late and I can't link it from j.C. I know I just need to keep grinding it out, but at times it feels like I'll never get the hang of it. How long did it take you guys to get hang of doing her micro dash from j.C to 5B? I have no problem doing it from 22C since the buffer is so long and I can just mash it out, plus you usually do a 6C afterwards so I can just hold 6 to get the 6C out easily.

I'm wondering if labrys can now use S-Hold as a reversal? Is her DP still the same? Doesn't look any different to me and people seem to still react to it as usual. I really want her to have a decent meterless reversals.

What is this suplex hold thing that Labrys is doing with the guillotine at the end of that combo video? Is this a new mechanic introduced in p4u2?

Thanks, it's definitely easier to do. I couldn't connect that J.2C no matter how fast I do it.

I'm having trouble connecting the j.2C in this combo: [CO] 5A > 5B > 2C > 6C > j.D , j.B(1) > 6A > j.2C > j.236D > 6B(2) Is it just matter of canceling into j.2C asap?

I tried out the 22D > 6C > CT > 5C and I had no issue connecting the 5C. It is just at that other combo on the video I have issues connecting the 5C after the J.214D. Well, I just subbed out the 5C > 2C with 6BB instead. I lose out less than 100 dmg so I guess I'll just go with this.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but dummy techs out before the 5B can hit on the 5BB > 5CC > 623C > j.214A(w) > 5B combo. I'm trying to get j.214A out as fast as I can and I mash 5.B to try to connect it. I was also trying this combo I saw on this combo video tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hp3wmDAuwRI#t=72 5BB > 5CC > 22D > 6CC > 623C > J.236A > J.214D > 5C > 2C > 236B > 214B > 22B After the J.214D, the 5C seems to whiff no matter what. I can easily connect a 2.B in there though. I was wondering if this is possible?

I was trying to do it straight from 623C > 214A from point blank and realized that would never work lol. After trying the combo from start, whiffing the dp is easy though connecting the 5B or 5C is the real challenge now.

I was wondering how to do the 214x whiff part of the DP whiff combos ? I saw some videos and it looks like Tsubaki does the DP and cancels really fast into 214x that she doesn't even go up in the air. It doesn't look like I come even close to doing this at all.
