It does, you just need a plugin. I tested the idea on Paint.NET before doing it. http://psdplugin.codeplex.com/ Click the Eye next to a layer. Usually, only the highest of a given set (eyes, mouths, etc.) will show up, so it's best to hide everything and only show one at a time.

Get 'em while they're hot. Notes: Each character with multiple pieces comes in a PSD file, one file for each "pose". Each piece (mouths, eyes, eyebrows, etc.) is its own layer, in its own layer group, and is already positioned. Layers are individually named according to their placement. These files are usable in Photoshop, GIMP, and any program that supports the PSD file format. Simply toggle visibility on the layers you want to use. Some characters have easter eggs. Characters that have no parts are simply PNG files.

He said normal Slayer, as in default. Also, re: text. Pick better fonts, use smoothing, don't give them massive strokes/glows. If you DO give them massive glows, don't crop it off the edge of the screen, it looks bad. Don't color text the same as the background unless you're going for an outline effect. Either the text itself or the border needs to be easily distinguishable from the background.

Combos don't have five seconds of hitstop so it helps speed things up a bit, beyond that it's a bit slower.

Jojo's actually has A autocombos like that, and such things are still possible. Obviously Persona may be different, but in Jojo's mashing A will get two or three 5As, then any other attacks will come out as normal. So by staggering the inputs a bit, you can continue using 5A. (Actually in Jojo's you have to mash pretty fast to get the full autocombo.) For example, I play Mariah. 5AAA is two jabs and then a lunging slash. 5AA A is just three jabs. The gap is only as wide as 5A's startup, canceling after it hits (or is blocked) will stop the autocombo from occurring.

Every character could turn in midair in Guilty Gear: The Missing Link (the original PS1 game we're not supposed to talk about for too long, lest the hounds are summoned). It was nice for all those situations where an air combo gets ruined by bad jump mechanics, if you could remember to use it.
