Why is Justice Banned in Tournaments?
Circuitous replied to ShootingStar's topic in Guilty Gear General
Even if Justice and Kliff weren't any good, they were added into a console-exclusive port without extensive balancing or playtesting. For all intents and purposes, they're not even in Accent Core. With the majority of tournaments still going on today being run on arcade or on an original Accent Core disc, they wouldn't even be available to play if they were legal. Basically it doesn't matter how broken they are because they're not even in the game at 90% of events. -
Some folks wanted it. Here it is. Here's a transparent version.

That was actually pretty good, a couple grammatical issues aside.
-
These contain CS1's story art. You can overwrite the previous download.
-
It's a possibility, but for now there's nothing to get worked up over. Until there's an announcement, just assume we won't have to buy characters again.

Hey, you figured it out all by yourself. The numbers after the underscore are the sub-palette. _00 is the main character palette, and is the one you'll apply to character sprites and any files in the "00" folder under Effects. _01 through _07 are only usable on the sprites in those folders under Effects. They're the palettes for effects that change color to match the character's palette. Pretty straightforward.

And here are the story mode backgrounds.

Character Art is uploaded! Here's how it works: all the files are stored in a PSD, and labeled according to what part they represent. Toggle visibility on the layers you want, and save. You'll need Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.NET, PaintShop, or some equivalent layer-based image editing program to use these files. [You'd need one to put together the raw files, too, so this isn't really a problem.]

As I rip story mode art I'm posting pictures to my tumblr so you can see how things are coming along.

Yup.

Accidentally posted it in the wrong board. I started in BBG, made a new window for Zepp, and then went ahead and filled out BBG instead of closing it. All taken care of now.

Note: MediaFire has pulled the majority of these files from their servers. Please use http://kurushii.tv/Circuitous/ in the meantime. Complete Collection All characters include sprites, palettes, effects (ordered by sub-palette), and 3D object textures (including unique Astral Heat files) (no models). Story Mode Character Artwork Adds Platinum, Makoto, Valkenhayn, and Relius poses, as well as two new expression sets for "Defeated" Ragna and Jin. Download contains every character. You'll need a layer-based image editor to use these files (including Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.NET, etc...). Story Mode Backgrounds EXTEND Title with Background or Transparent. Okay then. Well, Relius is Faust. Ripping is going smoothly.

I think it's the format. Not sure how it was compressed, but like I said, I have some new things I can try. As for what I can rip so far, I've got Relius, some artwork, Relius' names, and Relius' DLC palettes. (His GG palette is Faust, otherwise they follow the same themes as CS's DLC palettes. Also I'm only assuming they're DLC - are 24 palettes selectable by default? If so this isn't news, disregard.)
-
I've had bad luck ripping voices, but I have some new things I can try, so I'll do what I can. Kurushii and Evil Jerk are getting me more raw files. Should be able to get story mode artwork/backgrounds and character art/logos done. And since there are new sprites, I'll go ahead and re-rip everyone and repackage them. I'll post everything as I finish it, instead of waiting for everything to be done like last time.
-
Edit: Okay, the reason your files weren't working is because they were compressed. Now they're decompressed. Edit: Relius sprites coming soon. I'll see what else I can pull. If someone could shoot me a message regarding what new content there is, I'll rip what I can.

Here's hipster. Good luck.

Look at it from the perspective of someone who doesn't play the character. I don't mean a newb, I mean someone who plays another character but doesn't know shit about the character they're reading on the wiki. "What's with Dead Spike, how's that work so well?" Then they look up Dead Spike on Ragna's page, and rather than getting a generalized description, they can see the sprite (confirming that it's the move they're thinking of) and know its stats right off the bat. Frame data could still be organized into its own page (as it is now without the wiki) for people who JUST want to see frame data. Your argument appears valid on its own, but only when you consider that that's just how other wikis have done it. Edit: This page, on the same wiki that you linked, offers the same information in nearly the same format as DL's is using. Does this layout bother you as well? If not, what about this makes it more appealing, and how can we integrate it into the existing layout? Let's try and find common ground instead of shutting down ideas that could work out. I'd love to read a guide written by you. You can barely make it through a single post without sounding like a moron. Meanwhile, people who give a shit can work on a wiki for everyone else to use. -
Is Blazblue a good competitive fighting game in your opinion?
Circuitous replied to Dragonslayer9's topic in Archive
You need to have played both games at a high level before saying something like this. This is probably why you can't explain it. -
Because this is the record. There is no other way to go on record.
