  2. The kanji is Dog. I still don't feel like it works. Hype Dog is iconic already, but this is deliberately obscure. On the other hand, maybe all you want is hype. Maybe you don't care what the kanji is. I dunno. I still like the first design. I pick a6 since it's the closest to Hype Dog's color.
  3. You mean 1.01? I already have it, actually. It contains Makoto's sprites, effects, scripts, etc., new scripts for some unlimited characters, several new voice files, etc., etc. Nothing special or secretive, no new placeholders.

  4. Seriously? You're going to be this dense? A thread already exists for discussing sprites and palettes and all of that crap. It's right here. You could've searched, or just looked.
  5. Making 3D effects... into sprites... no. No, that's not how it works. If you mean that guy who takes the 3D effects and fakes them into a 2D background, he's already doing that as far as I'm aware, and he only needs the textures to do it with. What the fuck are we even discussing? I'm not ripping the stages. Too much time spent on too little reward. I am, however, ripping some of the sprites from stages (Hype Dog, current avatar, etc.). But that's it.

  7. What you said here doesn't make any sense. The sprites are in Indexed color mode, so you can't use any of the stuff you described. If you're planning on animated, I'd suggest dragging them into a new document that's in RGB color mode (I usually use 800x800 to start). You need to do "Select All" (Ctrl+A) to drag them in. Once they're there you can do whatever you want. Make them yourself.

  10. This is a lie. SOME effects are 50% of normal size (this was especially common in Guilty Gear). However the vast majority of BB effects are normal size. Also just to clarify: the GG colors I posted are not my work, or any particular effort on my part. Those are color #20 for each character, the fourth color in DLC Color pack 2. I was simply demonstrating what was what and who was who, since the questions kept cropping up. Re: GIMP. I hate the GIMP. Even when the color is a transparency index, it's not a transparency index. Unbelievable. It's just such a terrible program sometimes. I can't believe I installed it just to see if it was capable of this most basic of functions.

  13. I've been ripping them slowly over time. When people need specific ones I give them up. Beyond that I'm waiting until I have them all done and neatly organized before I release them. Same goes for pretty much everything that isn't sprites, although I'll be re-ripping all of the sprites eventually too.

  15. Seems like a waste of space to have jump cancel as a separate input, not to mention repetitive. And since double-jump C isn't actually a different attack than jump C, the dj seems unnecessary as well.

SIMPLY SEND THEM TO ME IN WHATEVER STATE THEY'RE STORED IN. XBOX 360 IS PREFERRED, SINCE I HAVE THE MATERIALS NECESSARY TO HANDLE IT, BUT PS3 IS ACCEPTABLE.   22. Any time an emblem was really big, it was a texture on a 3D model that they could stretch and fade and make look good regardless of the size, so... yeah. We'll see what I can find, though.
