With this change and the increased damage in midscreen combos, seems like they're really making her play like a glass cannon type (considerably strong offense but weaker defense or health) of character and I think I like that, probably because I've had experience with these type of characters such as Millia and DIO in Guilty Gear and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle respectively. -
This guy just outpkes me most of the time and it's hard to get any breathing room, all thanks to Koromaru. Plus I can't tell which parts of his strings to disrespect but I guess I can solve that by rewatching my matches and experimenting in Training Mode. First time in a while I felt clueless when it comes to P4U matchups outside of Margaret.

Would you happen to have a link to the story. And yes, I too am a bit disappointed that there wasn't any blood in Accent Core, I also didn't like how "basic" the announcer for AC sounded in comparison to the one used from the very first iteration of XX to Slash. But alas, both are simply cosmetic changes so I'll live. Back on topic, seems like the character models PS3 version seems a bit more "jagged" and "blurry" than the PS4 version? -

Oh I didn't notice the RC. :P Anyway, I'm not blaming the character, my losses are 99% my fault. I'm just at a loss on what to do sometimes since I would play long sets with one person for an hour and I would little to no improvement or adjustment no matter what I learn as I'm playing along. Perhaps this has to do with me not putting in the effort to research the character(s) the others play and other things as well.

Yeah, neutral and earning respect is what I /still/ have trouble with with Izayoi. I may not be a tournament player but I would like to get better but it's pretty hard when the people I play at locals just want to play their "game" and I get blown up for it off of one wrong move or read, especially since pre 2.0 Izayoi has no reversal and I'm not quite familiar with a lot of the casts' strings. It's also a bit discouraging when my opponent doesn't do what I expect them to do on defense and they get away with it haha. Mimicking what top players do is simple, but trying to understand what goes on in their minds is another level for me. Pretty much the pinnacle of pre 2.0 Izayoi. I never thought I'd see Izayoi winning a major happen, but it did so congrats SKD. This is pretty motivating and it kind of makes you feel bad for all the times you made excuses and/or cynical jokes about Izayoi now haha.

To be honest, it's too early to tell, especially since her combo rate has been decreased, at least according to SKD. However in 2.0, changes such as being able to do 5B > 236B make hitconfirming a bit easier but the fact that 623C is "slower" makes me wonder if things like ... 623C > 66 > j.C > oki are still possible, but since 623C has longer untech time this time around (actually it seems like they can't tech until they hit the ground?) it seems like it isn't possible, nor necessary since the longer untech time gives Izayoi EZPZ oki lol.

@ 5:15 Kureru lands a 3C Fatal. I'd like to say that it helps? But then again I'm not an expert on this matter. However the number one thing to know however is to use a wired connection, but I'm pretty sure you know that already.

Finally played this game on Friday night and it was fun. Definitely enjoyed the simple nature of the game and yet what interests me is the untapped potential the playable characters have with the assists. -
After playing shtkn's Mitsuru at casuals last night, yes it does I think? But more often than not I upback air grabbed. Also this is pretty obvious but fuzzy jumping gets blown up by well spaced 5A staggers as well as 5C since the hitbox on Artemesia's whip is huge.
