Is ending a combo with GA 3C or 236B still a "legit" choice despite the fact that 623C seems to be the "go to" answer for "economic" GA combos if you want to save stocks due to the fact that its untech time got buffed?

Stupid question but does this mean that CPE doesn't come with the full story from CP and then some like CSE did? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I prefer LINE but that's just me.

Okay that explains things. Why the format change to console though? Probably because it's more convenient? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I wonder what happened? Was it because of rights and/or just not popular enough? -
This so much. I honestly don't know why they removed the feature of being able to go into Training Mode while waiting for someone to join your Player Room, it just seems backwards to me.

You happen to have a word to word copy of what it said? I kind of want to read it myself but it's not there haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Anybody here remembers how to get the pretty white/blue palette? I think the code for it came with one of the Alter Memory BDs? (Hope I'm wrong though) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This part doesn't really make sense to me tbh. Are you talking about Izayoi's Noir Edge? And depending on where you live/how the connection is, I wouldn't mind mashing against you since I play Izayoi myself, although tbh, she's not really a "netplay friendly" character as I was told a while ago.

Bought a Hori Fighting Edge for the PS3 about two years ago. Love its size and the smooth Hayabusa joystick. Buttons don't require any soldering IIRC? Opened it up once to replace the template and each button is connected by two wires, which are easily detachable. A potential turn off could be that it relatively low rating in regards to Teyah's arcade stick input lag tests, assuming you care about that stuff. I personally don't, stick works fine for me and I can barely tell the difference. http://www.teyah.net/sticklag/results.html

He has a nose.

I see. I was just curious because in my scene, some of my friends have joked about how "Lambda is an option for Nu players who feel bad for winning too much."

So seriously, why play Lambda when you can play Nu. Is there anything that Lambda has over Nu?

LordKnight Explains Defense and Defensive Option Selects in P4U2
Ichipoo replied to Anne's topic in P4:Arena Gameplay
So I made this post in the Naoto General Discussion thread just recently and I'm just wondering if my thought process behind the usage of Defensive OSs is correct. Obviously I haven't mastered them yet but I think I get the general point of them now. The way I understand them is that these OSs cover an additional option on defense, which in turn, carries less risk than simply committing to one option (such as just using or grab tech, F-Action, Roll, etc. when we feel it'll work). However, even with this discovery, they're not to be seen as techniques that can get out of every situation as there's still ways to blow it up. That being said, utilizing these OSs are STILL better than committing to just one option on defense, which is what most of us were doing during P4U1. Now, it seems that a sort of Rock-Paper-Scissors type metagame where each player tries to guess which OS their opponent is doing on defense and tries to blow it up has emerged as a result? -

http://www.twitch.tv/sandiegofgc/v/3957640 @ 2:58:20 I know we're all talking about 2.0 now but on the subject of Defensive OSs, version shouldn't matter at all. Anyway so I finally found time to stop by my local FGC venue to visit some friends since spring break started and it just so happened that they were having a P4U2 tournament so I participated (my first local P4U2 tournament actually) and outside of a few dumb wake up grabs in the first round, I feel that my set with shtkn is kind of a good example of how the fuzzy OS metagame works (at least until the second round starts). Basically the way I used Defensive OSs was if I suspected that shtkn was going to grab me, then I Fuzzy Jumped, which worked out for me at least twice. However, seeing that work out was a tell for shtkn that I was Fuzzy Jumping and so I had to mix up what OS to use, such as Roll OS in order to escape "shallow" Mitsuru pressure (which worked out pretty good for me in the set as well despite supposedly being a 'weak' OS from what I heard? At least that's what @Buttface told me in one of the LINE groups I'm in. Probably because Rolls is considered a weak defensive option?) because I was waiting for the classic run up 2B the next time he put me on defense since Mitsuru's 2B can easily blow up Fuzzy Jump (which never happened in the set though). In turn, in order to see if shtkn was OSing on defense, I staggered my 5As and 2As which will catch Fuzzy Jump but he didn't bite. In general, these Defensive OSs are pretty important to learn, especially for Naoto who has mediocre defense in the first place. -
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle

Decided to check out online today to see if anybody is still playing this game and lo and behold, I found one lone trooper waiting to see if anybody would join his Player Room. I joined his room and we actually had a 3 bar connection with each other and it played decently. Not great, but it was playable. -

It goes without saying that they actually could since Hakumen wears a mask, which obviously means that there's no mouth flap limitations to worry about. -

That you could also do. At this point, I guess it just depends on the player on what 'route' they want to take. Personally, I like saving Shadow Frenzy for an unburstable Hamaon/Mudoon combo so far, but since Auto Combo in general also increase the Burst meter faster than normal, you could get "greedy" and remove all your opponents Fate in one go with a Shadow Frenzy combo off the first hit and proceed from there. Either way, with both "routes," assuming your opponent was smart enough to hang on to it, you still have to deal with your opponent Bursting at some point. At least that's how I see it. -

Ichipoo replied to ludwig van's topic in Naoto Shirogane
In some of the LINE groups that I'm in, we actually discussed how Shadow Naoto seems to be more focused on removing Fate all on one go like RoanYagyu said previously. Interestingly enough, one of the people in those chats, (I think it was TheBiter, a pretty prominent player in SoCal) suggested that Shadow Naoto can simply save up 100 SP, (since Shadows still gain more meter than their normal counterparts) burn it all in a double shotgun combo that takes away 12 Fate, then on the next combo, Shadow Frenzy into Hamaon or Mudoon (ie: Grab > Shadow Frenzy > Hamaon/Mudoon). Yup, Shadow Frenzy combos not being Burstable is a big thing. -

I'm pretty sure there's smaller 'house gatherings' being held, one being Nerdjosh's Friday gatherings at his place I believe? -
The way I see it is that you really have to learn how to "take turns" in UNIEL, which means knowing when it's time to go in or block. Also even though the game gives you options to mitigate the "annoyance" of blocking/staying on defense (Shielding, Guard Thrust, OSs, etc.), you have to get comfortable doing so as well as actively observing which parts of your opponent's blockstring you should respect and disprespect.

Maybe kudoku is having trouble "perfect reloading" and maintaining momentum after the 22B > 66C loop? If I remember correctly, the opponent can mash or jump out if you don't reload at the right timing assuming you're going for enhanced bullets in the first place.

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for but if you do some digging in this thread, you can find two pretty useful links. http://pastebin.com/GVXcu86Z https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wN3wu5IwEcQ9b-Zo4LalYq1IaPe8Obx5d5WGRK0dpOc/edit Better than nothing I suppose.
