5D is not a good followup, no combo at all, way to slow for pressure. Are you playing CT? If so, you're in the wrong thread, this is clearly for Continuum Shift, baring that for now though.. The general options after a 5c on block are a 2c for the low or 6b for a double overhead situation. Both are quite risky though. Don't throw it out randomly though. Make sure your opponent respects your pressure when you do, generally when they are blocking during your approach, after a string reset with 2369D, or after a tick with 5a or 2a. On hit, for starters you can do 5c, 2c, 6d, 623B. More is in combos section.

Dacidbro is right. You can even do a combo from an overhead into a Daifunka. In CS, I believe the move is slower, but benefits in general from Bang's mixup and damage buffs.

So apparently this place has CS: 8 On The Break 340-346 North Dunellen, NJ 08812 Number of Cabs: 1 Sanwa Sticks/Buttons 42 inch HD screen I live about a 40 minute drive from there. Any takers? Also any word on CTF's progress?

I don't mind a slightly higher execution (also apparently it's easier to use 623 B and 6C in combos now too) for the greater reward. May also turn off random tier whoring people with no dedication to the path of justice!

I think I'll be able to make it. I'm curious if ASW will have rep. GG will probably be a side, and BB CT isn't exactly well received... Unless for some reason, BBCS comes out in March-Aprilish.

Proration as well I believe. Your combos that start will 5a will do more damage.

Well if you go to Hofstra, me and couple others who aren't as good or into the game will be willing to play. In addition, Chazz (Mynus) lives really close by and a couple of friends who live off campus, but I don't know how willing they are to play now anymore...

This. I'm in Brooklyn for after the semester. This weekend is NEC, so yeah, nothing then. Next week a combination of BBCS release in CTF plus some other business holds me down. Then the game room will be closed next weekend due to the semester just ending. I don't even think it will be open on weekends in Janurary, nor will I be around. You guys are welcome to come any day you want for casual play. However, I would like to consider making the tournaments bi-weekly starting in Feb, especially since I'm a senior. Thoughts?

Just a heads up that barring finding an extra suitable Brooklyn or Manhattan venue, that I will be not hosting tournaments for December or January.
