While true in methodology, there are super cancels, it's just normal to super, but yeah it's not a cancel here. Also Sin can do special > super since he's a special little snowflake. I'm having a weird problem myself with the midscreen ones, I can't hit the Bishop as low as he does after the S Carcass, so 2S whiffs Bishop. I can use f.S to do similar, but worse things...anyone else run into that issue?

310 vs Souji (Bedman) multiple matches (one in the middle as well) 310 vs Koichi (I-No) multiple matches (beginning and some towards the end)

I've questioned the efficiency of that mixup for 25 meter for a while, but it does have some merit. It's good enough for Fino and Blacksnake at least lol, it's an interesting question to ask: Is 25 meter + meter gain penalty worth safety from reversals and 2 extra balls of chip...the answer may still yet change depending on the game situations...

Whoops, I think I accidentally deleted the link. My mistake. imgur.com/a/hoYwc

So here's some Venom hitboxes! Projectiles are still a WIP on the hitbox viewer, and not all active frames are shown, but still a good look. http://imgur.com/a/hoYwc I might have underrated 5P and 2HS (some of my accidental 5P AAs make more sense now lol). c.S pales in comparison to the AC days sadly :(. j.S is interesting....(reverse the order of the images in your head) Edit: Well well well welll wellllllll look at what was found in the data: On a different note, I want to discuss something. If you watch those Isamu sets, he very rarely goes for okizeme on Sol and looks to make more setups instead and continues to zone. Is it a combination of blitz+Sol's strong wakeup options? He tends to go more for oki when Sol lacks the 25 meter. If any of our JP speaking friends would want to ask on twitter or help me do so (I don't know any...), would also be appreciated.

Set of Isamu vs Bonchan (SO) matches. Not Sagat Bonchan no ^_^

So c.S Bishop (as seen in the video) leaves Venom at +5 when done perfectly (18 frames of blockstun, 13 total on Bishop). So it's about a 2 frame gap using 2P, technically not safe against reversals (and pretty sad in Rev when you can Blitz Bishop by charging). When done with IB, 4 frames get shaved off there, making c.S>Bishop>2P mashable by most characters. Potentially risky...but the reward is clearly pretty high too.

It's slightly longer than a microdash I think. In this case a microdash would be like the c.S(3) QV j.KSetc combo
-
I would add the 669 throw combo in as well yes. I think it works on Bedman but not Pot? I believe some characters and situations when extending with SQV, doing Regardless, great video! I hope you'll be willing to make updates for Rev. Even if they don't patch the console right away, we'll be seeing 4+ new characters.
-
I find Zato/Ky/Venom/Ram/I-No somewhat similar IIRC on the spacing on SQV IAD combos (midscreen at least). Thinner characters. I don't even bother with them for Bedman/Pot/Leo since c.S(3) works on them crouching fine as well, how do they compare?

1 Hour of Fino Matches. Oppponents are: NOB(Sol), JUN(Millia), Hasegawa(I-No), Tsu(Zato), Sanma(Johnny), Chappu(Chipp), Taka(Slayer), Hossa(Leo), Roi(Sol), 2rio(I-No)

956 is generally done during throw and QV combos. I tried it when the game came out and couldn't get the combo. I asked Ruu for advice and he does 866, but also said some players use super jump. In the end, if it works for you, it works.
-
Just to clarify a couple of things c.S(3) IAD is NOT a true IAD. Do a neutral jump then airdash. 866 instead of 956. Also you'll need to slight delay on Millia as well as Sol. Wiki can help too with what I have filled in...and of course, specific questions are all good. Hoping I can finish the guide soon *sigh*

HS ball off of 2D is a bit situational to wakeup timing and situational to spacing. Do note that Venom can somewhat choose face up or down timing with the 2nd or 1st hit of 2D. Some reversals (Ky, probably Jam as it worked in XX) can be low profiled by 2D as well. You can also use K ball oki as a safe jump depending if you're going in front (come down with FD) or crossing them up (you go past them and reversals whiff). Again, note the spacing. Corner stuff becomes all too easy. Personally I love the HS>S formation in the corner against DP characters, there's a wide variety of setups there. A bit sorry I couldn't make it myself to RitT...but it was about 10 hours away...freakin upstate -_-;;;
-
The thing is that her midscreen bnbs seems to leave Steins pointing nearly straight up...a bit unfortunate there. But yes, even I can see the meterless corner damage is going to be nuts...many options for routes too.

Some Fino vs Mugen (SO) matches https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHpe5lDzOO0

There seems to be invisibility glitches around the whole cast. I'm expecting it personally to get patched along with Nine. So thinking about stein direction...they move and adjust to lock on when getting set...and can't be rotated at all right? Interesting skill to remember the direction they're facing when offscreen, if utilized correctly, could open up interesting combo and pressure opportunities...but laser is persistent if you get hit as far as pressure goes...
-
So it's certain that the direction drones are facing determines how they fly? Interesting...
