Nah Venom can still do damage. Remember other character's health got buffed. He still has some pretty damn good damage, and remember Venom's damage is very much controlled by the guard bar. CRANK DAT SHIT. I haven't been able to test it because of life sadly, but Venom can use his pre-AC formations in ACR by pressing D after a summon.

Despite losing, I thought N-O was pretty effective in his match in the latest A-Cho vids. It's just Ruu is so freakin unreal now.... What's the setup for that 3 ball spread? Or do you need the old formations to access it?

360 is partly due to the availability of setups. But given that Next Level has a variety of of great 360 sticks to use as well as PS2->360 converters, as well as a lot of people who also don't have PS2 sticks (sad? perhaps, yeah), it's the choice. I trust ASW to make the port right, but of course if something acts up, I will change the console back. There's quite a bit of time to find that.

No, it'll be on 360. Before people bitch about the normal NL monitors, this tournament will be run on the ASUS monitors they use for TTT2. Double elim. Probably not. I'd rather do exhibitions and mms outside the singles tournament, apart from me not really knowing how many are going to show. Singles already 2.5x the cost of a normal tournament as well.

Every early report I've read about Venom had people calling him strong. The 6k combos in loketest one, though they didn't do EXTREME damage, they ended up being terribly long, and dull for the game. As long as you can make people respect you with your pokes and anti-air and know how put the pressure on, the character will be good. And his options got further expanded (aka infinity x infinity) with adding in his old formations and giving him the option to trade meter for balls.

Is there any word on any possible official change list/notes, or a guide book? Initial Kliff and Justice impressions? Thanks.
