It's more kinda a mix between low and mid tier Although nu has an even match up against both character in neutral. Hopefully konan can weave some magic. Last point I just thought all the furry player just move on to a better furry with twin tail xD

In gener they keep removing her tools I'm starting to find this un-fun lol, guess I should try and use the ground fireball more. Lol the thought just came to me that maybe tsubaki is aspiring to be Jin starting with a fireball anyway silly thoughts aside is there any news on next loketest.

I find 22b good in situation where your opponent spaces it for you, such as litchi when she uses her D moves to cancel her strings. Mainly in otjher in area where 5b doesn't reach, although I would like cs2 22a back ^^,

Well in a sense everyone got nerft, some more than others. Still the final changes might be different. Edit besides izayoi I don't think any other character came out as good as her. By that I mean retaining their original style plus buff, big buffs too. Edit 2 I should change that to some characters got massacred while others got nerft

it is probably due to j214 hit box being not as great for TK, as Chzchan put it you need to do it more forward and higher as a tk for it to hit, therefore the higher and forward you do it, the more visable frame there is and it becomes more reactable. at least with nu tk crescent you can do it at the mimimum hight so it would be 17 frames + jump start up. And of ccourse if its block you be punish I guess that is a trade off, but I will wait for vids. I'm looking at jc land tk crescent but depending on hit box it might not be effective or work in general as a great mix up but just a mix up, now a cross over overhead off a jump normal is much more valuable, being meterless (free), It is likely that j214 is design more of to be a set up than block string. those jb jc jcc string are all from the jumping position, in terms of mix up there is only one, since tsubaki 2b is too slow they probably have more chance reacting low, there is like less reason to hold down back vs tsubaki but instead 9 or 7. Anyway I'm kinda happy that we got something, like something decent, but I don't value it high compare to for example if 5b went to 9frames and 1+ again I be real ecstatic. Atm j214 is a fair game punishable overhead being not so great but not so bad.

during the final clip there were both low tk cancel and high tk cancel that ended in just landing or dash ^^, we can still keep the hope up but.... lol still it is more consistent with what arc is doing across the board.

going along the jin train, he still has j.b and j2c which are both meterless option ^^, tsubaki still has a long way to catch up to her nii-san

just a reminder that it says a guarded 6c is not jump cancellable, It probably refers to only on block but not on hit. regarding j214x you can create some new KD set up into j214 due to its highly active frames , anyway, it be nice to see some new direction with tsubaki, atm it seems like she's not much different minus a few things.

I should say you do make a good point, I will keep that in mind thanks EDIT: well I think at this stage it is just praying nu receive the less amount of nerft because atm everyone is going to shit and those will the less nerft will be better above the cast lol, how ironic. EDIT2: surprise no one is talking about 3c -> ct being not a thing anyway, just wondering how are we going to use CT without 22a, outside of 4b, well thats gone too, outside of 2dd AA what other option do we have.

but at the same time, when you add "to assume" to "correct" i'm just singling it out as the most probable of the assumption, and in general assumption are circumstantial base on some form of evidence that may not be concrete to declare a true verdict, but I guess it is my opinion in general although one I believe strongest at this point but regardless it is clearly an assumption, I think my choice of word may could have been better, although I don't think I declare it as concrete but assume.

even this time I feel arcsys has canabalized itself with p4u, ggxrd and first bad impression loketest, not saying the changes will stick but it creates a disincentive for playing bb atm. also I'm not even feeling the urge to play bbcp 2.0 because there is already a lot of games coming along to get me occupied not to mention ggxrd is likely to have a big impact, as far as competitive fighting game scene goes most people will focus on one game for competition, the others will be side. there quite a few games to keep you occupied for at least a year before the new bbcp comes to console.

I don't think mode change invalidate lambda existence in general but it is probably more of arcsys fault for making them too similar, originally cs1 lambda was meant to be a zato eddie thing, a name swap for plot, if they differentiate lambda and nu better it could work. It was a difficulty that came with more flexibility and strength, its not like they made her difficult for the sake of being harder, it had a good reward for learning her new mechanic. Overall a better nu/lambda, although I will add that stance change wasn't a difficult cncept to grasp, at least it is not on the same level as carl or eddie. anyway, everyone is free to their opinion on who they want to play, so I will stop here on that point. edit: guess i'm more disappointed that they split an interesting and fun character to create 2 equal boring character.

you know "insert plot device" even the entire lambda thing is a plot device, you can do lots of things adding twist. Anyway its just data originally that gave nu the ability. Again story and fighting game don't mesh well or at least shouldn't dictate the gameplay. they should just remain as background.

just for reference the part mentioning 5d, 2d and jd are not changes but the player themselves wishing for it to be different. anyway I will list some changes but chzchn attempt is quite close, still my friend couldnt work out which special they are referring to since he doesnt play tsubaki. 236d now act the same as 236c as in it doesn't cross over. 412d now is similar to carls fireball, or like jin old c fireball I'm assuming he means the momentum. j214d being overhead (already know) 22b charge doesnt cause sliding 22c and 2c, floats opponent more, IAD jc combo does not work. j.C less untech time 6c not jump cancellable on block 5a 2b connects on crouching 5a5bb5cc6b doesnt combo full in this path, (crouch hit), need to remove one gatling for this to combo. will double check these one C version of her super now act like her D version in over drive, he does say there is a follow up, I will double check this one. 236c into 214b is difficult, will check this one.

I don't know what people thought about cs2, but anyone could tell where she was going in tiers because of two thing, her charge rate becoming ridiculous fast. And of course 22d unblockable that comes with fast charging. anyway, with the current changes it doesn't look so bad but I will miss 623c air hit box, because that was hilarious sniping people jumping away with it.

I'm not sure what to make of it honestly, I already knew it was a new direction from reading this thread a few days ago, but can't say I agree with it, I don't agree with BB in general for dumbing down things, rather unlike gg keeping it technical yet rewarding. In the end I will just play it as it is. I have no problem with using the system mechanics, but I don't agree it is the best direction. Anyway that is all from me regarding Over Drive Raid
