'Sup people? I plan on subbing Relius, so what would be the biggest challenge when it comes to using him?

I see, it looks like I still need improvement on this kind of stuff...Thanks for setting me straight. I'll make sure to hit up the lab real soon.

I don't see that many combos that end in Scud Punichsment, so I thought i'd list a few... (UW) 3C > 22C > 5B > 2C > 214214D (2.9k) Can be done anywhere (Corner only) (UW) 5B > 2C > 5B > JC > j.B > j.C > JC > j.D > 214214D (3.1k) (On crouching) (UW) 5B > 3C > 22C > 5B > 2C > 6D > 214214D To be continued...

Am I crazy, or is the ground Alpha Blade able to combo off of c.S, 5.HS?

Now that I understand AC+R now, I've decided to start using Chipp. His laughable damage output worries me a bit, but if I can compensate for that by solidifying myself as a player, it shouldn't be too much of an issue. My question is: Where do I start with learning how to combo in general? My plan is to make use of everything the game has to offer me from a mechanics standpoint to make the most out of Chipp. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'll take this into careful consideration, and I was in the training room to see which character(s) were for me. So far, I'm liking Johnny and Order Sol. Still, thanks for the info. :D

BlazBlue Calamity Trigger - How has it aged?
SkagMaster replied to SkagMaster's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
Heh, never saw it that way. However, I do remember Ragna more dangerous in CT because of his absurd damage and Soul Eater just hands over health to agressive players. Every character fwlt unique in CT, but after that, AWS just modifies the characters in more bad ways than good. Ex. Nerfing Blood Kain's Devoured By Darkness... :p -

BlazBlue Calamity Trigger - How has it aged?

Wow, and I thought I felt nostalgic before. Thanks guys! :D -
Is it still on PSN?

Are there any other fighting games besides DOA5 and Injustice that have frame data in their training mode?

BlazBlue Calamity Trigger - How has it aged?
SkagMaster replied to SkagMaster's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
Nu made me rage countless times because of her Sickle Storm & Spike Chaser! :banghead: My favorite thing about CT was Ragna and how much damage his Soul Eater attacks did, making even his BnBs scary as hell! :D -
BlazBlue Calamity Trigger - How has it aged?
SkagMaster replied to SkagMaster's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
Well, I still love to play it with friends to laugh at its hilariously broken nature, and for nostalgia reasons. :D -
This game was my first PS3 game ever. Gorgeous 2D sprites, awesome and varied soundtrack, excellent fighting system, and branching storyline. I f*cking loved everything about that game. Looking back on how far BlazBlue has come since 2009, I'm curious as to how well it has aged. How about you? :p

Transition from 3D fighters to 2D fighters
SkagMaster replied to SkagMaster's topic in Beginner Mode
I see. I suppose I should say that I particularly cannot stand, buttonmashing, because I find it degrading to other players. Using it will only get you so far until yiu start losing. I'd rather lose knowing what I did wrong rather than not. Regardless, thanks for the input, as I now know that it was bound to happen eventually. Much appreciated! -
Greetings, people of Dustloop, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Raquise (SkagMaster as well), and I am a huge fighting game fan. My passion for fighting games started with the DBZ Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi games for the PS2. Most of my fighting game knowledge (moderate at best) originates from these games and I've been carrying over my habits to other fighting games. With other fighters such as BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, and Persona 4 Arena, I felt that the learning curve was more diffiult than anticipated, because my mentality shifted from 3D to 2D fighters. My question is whether or not this is normal, or is my case "different?" Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks for your time!

What's the worst fighting game you've played?
SkagMaster replied to Verimeloni's topic in Misc Fighter Central
I can honestly say that I don't have a worst fighting game. One I can aay that needed work was the first BudokI game. That game lacked polish controls were as useful as Raditz, and was ANTAGONIZING to play. Still, I did have some fun with it, ESPECIALLY with 4 players in the same room. :p -
I play mostly in the, neutral game, with some solid blockstrings and mix-ups to get an "easy" hitconfirm.

I see, I'll give him a shot when I get CP, but I'm on Extend right now. Sent from my SCH-M828C using Tapatalk 2

Yeah, I'm having a little of a problem... See what had happened was, I was playing BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend for a while, enjoying it for all it's worth. :yaaay:However, now that I'm ready to start getting into the fighting system, I'm having trouble finding a character that suits my playstyle. I'm a rushdown sort of player that relies more on solid fundamentals rather than combos, but I need a character that has some variety to their moveset, fairly easy to understand, but I need a lot of practice in order to completely master. Any ideas?

Looking for players in Sumter to play with, currently have Tekken and Mortal Kombat, but it'd help if you brought your own controller. I accept all challenges when available!
