  1. Awesome thanks. I'll put this in the first post. I was wondering about 2D, kinda thought damage from 2D > FB Fafnir seemed low. All the buffs are sweet though. 6P air hit thing is great.

  4. That's tricky. I noticed doing 5C really far into corner could cause strange things like 2C going behind them after it. I dunno, guess some people got bored. Nothing beats playing offline if you've got people to play so that takes longer to go away.
  5. Blood Scythe +0 is cool, but if it's still as slow as it looked when I first saw it I think you'll be lucky if they decide to just block it. Dash cancel on whiff DS sounds fun. I approve of working more DS into Ragna's game.
  6. Yeah I got it off JP store too. Almost regretted it but it's still not out here after today so It feels like 360 to me. But I can't say for sure if it lags any more or less or anything. So I should be at Xanadu tomorrow, it will probably be the last Wednesday or monthly I make it to for a while since I'm moving to central VA for a job soon. If I don't see you there, it's been cool playing GG/P4U/whatever else with you all over the years. Might make it to the occasional monthly if I'm in the area. but I should be at NEC so hopefully I'll see you guys there too

  8. So I'm revisiting the GF FRC > WT trick. Probably helps that I'm using stick now but I actually managed to get it a few times in training. After looking at frame data I think I've always been missing it because you have to FRC the GF on frame 14 since if you get it on frame 15, the flame will connect when WT is. I managed to get it off a blocked 5P, but nothing else so far. I'm pretty sure I've seen it off 5K(1) and 2K before, but not positive. Anyone know for a fact what normals it works from on normal block? EDIT: went a few pages back and saw some input on this I still need to look into.
  9. Wait, does it not even show connection quality with opponent? I thought I saw people saying 3 or 4 or whatever. EDIT: oh nvm, it shows it just only before joining a room.

  11. Made of vid of 2A combos from 5D btw. It has a few of the combos posted somewhat recently by SKD and others. Pretty much shows max(?) damage from 2A depending on how much meter you have. If any of these can be optimized further I'd love to know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQKhaZNLgzs
  12. My understanding is you want to do 5D asap if you hit the sweep really far, since it has to go farther. If you delay 5D too much they can roll/jump/attack/delay tech through it. I dunno what you were getting 5D punished with. if it was DP, a good chunk of the cast can reversal DP it so that's not specific to Akihiko.
  13. Aigis DP punish option for when she has meter to super cancel: Block it then airdash forward and do a very late j.B, it acts as a "safejump" kinda. If she cancels to Shield super while you're airdashing, you can block unless she did it pretty early, but you can cancel the airdash with airturn to block it then. If she doesn't cancel early, your j.B will connect for a CH ground hit, or if she cancels late to Shield or even Spear, you can block/roll/super.
  14. Yeah ggs at the monthly in persona and GG. I like the 360 port, will just take a bit for me to get used to it. Looking forward to getting used to stick for GG too, my thumb was hurtin after a while last night

I'd wanna get there by 2PM at the latest. and I figured $5 since new people might be getting into it...but if everyone wants $10 we can do that
  19. Hopefully, we need people to bring set ups for P4U and GG. I'll have one for P4U. I'm planning to get to Xanadu around 12:30-1:00, and I'll start a sign up sheet for GG unless someone does before me. $5 on 360 is what we're going with unless everyone has major problems with that.

  24. I don't either but for the time being I plan to use converter and ps2 pad.
  25. For Japan yes, I don't think it's been confirmed that's the date for US but I would expect it to be the same or close to it. and I'm all for running GG on 360s, we'll have to get used to it eventually anyway.
