  3. This Chie I play against all the time only ever safe jumps it. Without 50 meter, the move is pretty much useless. Anyone have any good setups with Risette Field? I've done Roll > Explosion, but I can't find a proper combo from it. What about 2B anti-air? j.B counterhit? I need better routes. My average damage is about 1.8k, and it's hard enough to hit people what with her lack of mixups and all.

  6. From what I could tell in that video, this bitch's punishment game is on point. And she has DP safe oki akin to P4A Yu Sweep > 5D with Chocolate. And an unblockable!? I may have found my setplay character I've been looking for. Bitch already looks stronger than Rise.

  8. Yeah, I know. That's why you use it when they don't have the meter. If they are saving their meter specifically for this setup, they aren't using it for damage or CA during pressure, so it gives us more leeway to do what we want a bit easier. It's not guaranteed, but if they don't have burst or 50 meter, it's nearly fool proof.

  10. This is the combo I've been doing, but it often turns into stuff > 5C(1) > 22A > dash 5C(1) > 5D > (too high to 5A) 214A KD Lots of damage lost, but full screen scan means I can just 236D to get back in.
  11. After the lightning comes down. Like, during super flash animation. My friend and I tested it with Chie and while he was able to get it every now and then, it was extremely inconsistent (timing was too dependent on how far I dashed) and because of this we decided it wasn't worth trying simply because mistake = more damage taken. CA Roll + CA + Burst are good options for it, though. I noticed that players tend to mash DP when they thing 22A+B is coming, so mix it up with 2B delay > sweep > combo or 2B IABD to bait DPs to get free damage in and to make them afraid to hit buttons. Her mixup is a lot scarier in awakening because if you don't respond to 22A+B, you're eating 6k.
  12. 22A+B IB'd > QE/DP works, I tested this a bunch with a friend of mine. Super finnicky, though and if they get hit by the lightning they just end up taking more damage anyway.
  13. Corner: 5AA > 2B > 5B > 2A+B > 236A+B > 2B(1) > 22A > 236A > 214214C+D About 6100 damage for 100 meter.
  14. This is how I've been playing her almost exactly. j.B is her best normal, and I was doing 2B > IAD > A+C > j.B > dash > 5AA for cross up combos into confirms. You can bait DPs by jumping backwards instead, and if they respect you enough and won't DP that anymore, you can do 2C to reset. Where is this set?

  17. That setup only works off crouch confirm > 5C > 214B > 5AA > sweep > 236B, because they're closer. Any normal ender into 236B meaty can probably be slightly altered so it works. I'll test a little bit..
  18. To add to this: - If Minazuki does teleport and you react too slowly to 2B, you can FA out to at least get a little bit of damage. He'll have to OMC to be safe, so only use this option if he has less than 50 meter - AoA > D > 5AA > 5C > 22A > 5C > 5D > j.2B doesn't put scan on Minazuki, so these routes and similar routes in the corner are no good; go for note pressure. - 5AA > 2B > 5B > 2A+B > delay 236B > IAD j.B is either airtight if timed properly or if delayed will pop the note and trade with his DP, giving Rise the more favorable trade since he loses blue health as well. Delayed version has a chance to cross up if microdashed first, giving some scary mixups. - HIs AoA can be thrown: do it if you see him cross up (looks kinda like a roll anyway). - Minazuki can't get out of unblockable setup with his DP. Run it like crazy on him.
  19. My friends and I just quit to Character Select when I land it to save time. That oki > setup off crouching confirm midscreen is really hot. Thanks brah.
  20. This character is bad. Like, P4A Liz/Labrys bad. Jesus Christ, she needs work. Your pressure is going to be 5AA, stuff > 236A and that's it. Everything else is too slow and can be pretty much dashed > 5A or just straight up 5B'd by a lot of characters.
  21. I take that back. She's still bad, but she has an unblockable setup off any blockstring, corner or midscreen if she's in awakening with 100 meter. I played Luke a lot tonight and that setup is 90% of the reason why I won any matches at all.

  23. What do you guys think of this? Corner: 5AA > 2B > 5B > 2A+B > 236A+B > 2B(1) > 22A > 5C > 5D > sj.2B 2698 damage + scan + note + knockdown in the corner for 25 meter.
