I haven't seen Zappa in any Mikado tournament recently and even when i was in Japan i only saw one Zappa player and the rest are the entire cast - Eddie. Regarding Zato in Xrd it's like make him strong or nobody will play him. Eddie was ok in +R and we just saw him a little bit when the game was released then he simply disappeared. no single Eddie in the recent GG tournaments and in the whole 3 months i spent in Tokyo i never seen an Eddie in any arcade. people will just drop him and move to easier and more rewarding characters because playing Eddie would be a pain in the ass.

I don't usually visit this forum because i don't play BB competitively anymore. i just play it casually and socially. but i think this thread is kinda interesting. Actually it's the BlazBlue Team that is just terrible at balance not the whole ArcSys. GGAC+R is almost perfect. GGXrd is still in it's first balance version and i saw FAB ocv'ing people and wining Mikado's tournament with Potemkin who's the worst character in the game.

Personally i wish that Sega could handle the localization of Xrd if they had a NA branch. Anyway thanks to digital versions anyone can play the game on it's release date.

The j.P version is burst safe on Sol Kishitaka did it on me many times when i went to Mikado and when i burst the air dash takes Sol out of the burst range the i eat another SW loop I can AID into j.S>SW normally i guess my main problem is the lack of knowledge regarding the key visuals and when to jump and the whole time window available for me to do it or the window for the air dash it self i need tips from someone who can naturally and consistently do it

Does anyone have any tips with doing WT into IAD j.S or j.P into SW on Light and Mid light characters ? That's the only thing left for me to learn. but for some reason i end up getting a j.VV instead of j.S most of the times!

Still the word "cheap" is totally inappropriate. Even if you mastered every unblockable it's very hard to move around alongside the shadow and you can only master that by playing actual matches not by training mode. also If you want both character to be equal in high level play then why would anyone bother picking a hard to use character and spend more time practicing ? wouldn't it better for him to pick the easy character and save his precious time as long as he still getting the same result ? I don't play Eddie but i do play Ky and i know that Eddie is more rewarding but it's a matter of give and take.

Could you please stop using the word "Cheap"! He might be too strong but that's the reward for people who spent months and years learning him. He is not a character that you can pick and learn in a couple of weeks like Ky. Saying cheap is like anyone can pick him and win easily. Also he is not as strong as AC Eddie IMO which had bad matchups with lower tier characters like I-No and even match up with many others.

I am really happy to see Kuro-chan returning in Xrd. He is definitely the best Sol i have seen until now
