  1. Dno if posted already (cba to read anything on Terumi since he sucks donkey balls in 1.1 and I'm dropping him like an anvil). Corner j.2D max dmg?! j.2D, (66), 5B, 3C, 22C Lv1, 5C, 5D, 6D, 236D, 632146D - 4,2k if I'm not mistaken. I was really surprised that his worked but it's nice. Raw heat gain is 80 as well. Gl to anyone still playing this shadow of once a playable character
  2. Hah I cought myself never using 5D against the end and when I tried to pull out one I got CH'd out of it by 5A... happens way to much against Tager's for me Also I'm quite afraid of the 360A/720C spinning so I really tend to go for alot of jump cancels. Yeah we the Swedish community has no contact with Finland over BB afaik. Blodwig doesn't play BB and I thought Lazze stop playing all together several years ago. Haven't heard anyone mention his name for atleast 6 years. I'll try to do better and be more focused and hopefully I'll bring out better play with my next batch.
  3. Thanks for the input. I thought I was gonna get alot harscher critique (it might still come though ^^) As it's online casuals I really go for Astral alot, that's just a personal thing and I indeed suck at realizing when I can take the round with BHS. As for pre-empt spark bolts I do it alot against Tager cause I have yet to play anyone to call me out on it so yeah... I just get away with it. If I didn't I would immediately stop obviously. As for 6C I realize it's a move that I should step away from and rely alot more on 5C atleast for this match-up when I looked back at these matches. EU BB scene is somewhat meh tbh but I try to reach out to the stronger players since I obviously realize that getting blown up for sh1t is going to make me a better player in the end. I have really sloppy inputs that are really shown in TCL but I am training at this specifcly looking in training mode why I'm failing. It's better then it used to be ^^ As for 6C fatal I've sat down in training looking at what to do. I don't have any muscle memory for when this hits airborne yet so I get frozen when it happens. I'm also trying to work on the crouch confirm to 22C, 2C, 2B, TCL midscreen. Thanks for giving me a second set of eyes looking it over. You really get blind by your own thing alot of times.
  4. http://www.twitch.tv/inputlag/b/501230434 A friend wanted some Terumi mu experince so he's fresh against him in this set. I played... not that great but I guess not terrible. I really hate the matchup and there is something SERIOUSLY WRONG with Tager's hitbox. There was so many 236D that ended up on block I just wanted to throw myself on the floor crying... stupid as hell. Anyway hopefully someone enjoys the matches and has something positive to say.
  5. http://www.twitch.tv/inputlag/b/501230434 Azrael matches starting at ~1hr 9min mark. I know I was thinking during the matches that I did alright but in hindsight when looking at them I really feel terrible and I feel that I am alot better than presented here. Anyway I want my Azrael to be way better and putting myself out there will hopefully do me good.
  6. Yeah but it's only 1 character of the entire cast. But I guess Terumi perhaps would be able to do Ourobos DD on tech. Need to try that out! But still... it's rather stupid yes. I really prefer to RC my Growler against decent people anyway.
  7. Man... I guess you all want Azunyan to be SS-tier? I think Growler is really really perfect for Azrael as it sits. It's just perfect for his character. We should rejoice in the fact that we even have a reversal with the second best backdash in the game. I don't think they need to change anything with Azunyan at all. For me personally I'd like TCL to be a normal rekka input perhaps but that's just because I suck at it ^^
  8. I don't know man... I know 6B has 28F startup but when canceled into from a move with alot of other options and having to confirm that it's actually 6B that you can poke out and not 2C or whatnot... that feels a bit too gdlk. I'd never dare anything if it didn't have invul due to the risk of being hit and getting Fatal Counter. But that could be only me as well. I don't feel the risk vs reward would be in my favour to mash against a Terumi doing that block pressure as I'd most likely get ch'd by one thing or another into most likely easy 4k dmg.
  9. Yeah but 3D has 15F recovery whilst Hornet has 33F. You are going to end up with alot worse oki if you hit Hornet in the end. j.2D when 3D won't hit sounds like the best option for me. If you are really going for OD I think it would be rather with Azrael since you indeed can confirm 5A, 5B rather easily, even online, then just mash that ODc and 2C. Since we have to use few moves with alot of hitstun to confirm for everything else OD shouldn't be much of an issue if people are really serious about wanting to start using it. One of the main reasons for me now using it is usally if you hit someone and they have a UW you're most likely going to end up with a Valiant combo anyway. Obviously less damage but less damage and a burst saved up (unless for the kill). I don't know... I just like the burst especially since I'm rather backdash happy and could end up getting hit by something huge.
  10. Or confirm the height during the Valiant combo if 3D is going to hit or if you need to do j.2D instead. Where there is a will there is a way.
  11. 5B is +2 on block so if blocked and you do another 5B it's a 6F gap. This makes 5B dash pressure excellent. The reason for this is that you can always cancel straight to 2C or anything else for a frame trap to discourage people from mashing. So 5B, 2C, 5C and you have 2C with really good P1 as starter for easy 4,5k dmg. When people are afraid you can start doing 5B dash pressure and eventually they get rather locked down and you can do 6B freely all day. Imo this is really what ALL Terumi players are severly lacking. This is really good pressure and "mixup" for advanced play. If you are fine with doing 2A, 5B, 5C, 2C, 5D, 236D on block to end up with -4 each time be my guest but that isn't going to open up anyone but yourself exposing yourself as an autopilot fraud Terumi! This is being said that I've done and do this WAY to much. However I use 6B ALOT and I generally do 2A dash pressure and 2B delay 5B. I actually hit 6B on people's jump startup frames quite alot and it's super easy to confirm straight to 22C and that's also an excellent P1 starter so you end up with easy 4,5k+. If they are in the corner and you have OD available depending on the meter when hitting air opponent with 6B you can do 7k easily as well. Just my 2 cents on the whole thing. I think this is they way Terumi should be played and most likely will be played when he hits arcade. Just look at the Hazama's using dash 2A and dash 5B already and how great that works out for them with the same data with the exception of Terumi's 2A seems to be 7F startup instead of 6F but it's not official AWS data.
  12. Dash through 5A, 5BB, ODc, 2C, 6D... etc works excellent. Also I don't think there would be any issue at all if you did j.B crossup, 2B, ODc, 2C.... etc I'm not able to try anything out atm but basically if you have UW applied and hit anything you should be able to get into OD for a nice chunk of unburstable damage. With that said I suck really hard at using OD since I rage burst 90% of the time for great dishonor.
  13. Hmm... with the D moves being generally slow I wonder how large the gaps will be. Even so with gaps people will be able to reversal between each hit in those cases. I would personally rather spend OD on OD cancels when having a point applied already. So from my perspective this change allowes for more damage quicker when going into OD wich in turn will probably make ODc very good for Azrael, better than now already that is.
  14. http://www.nicovideo.jp/search/EXVSFB?sort=f&order=d Just a search for EXVSFB sorted by newest uploaded. You'd get anything with that atleast...
  15. Thanks for the info Kurushii but that's even worse since I'm in EU. It's impossible to even find ranked matches
  16. How do you unlock Avatar icons for your D-Code? Don't tell me you have to play story mode with each character or something...
  17. You can use CT after 22C in corner and 6C CH. As for blockstrings... I don't know Terumi kinda sucks and if someone IB's good you're pretty screwed especially at 5C. Things I like are 2C, 5C(1), jc, j.2D whatever, 2C, jc, j.2D whatever, 5C, 6B whatever, 5C, 2C, 6B whatever, 5C, 2C, 5D, 6B "mixups" To open them up to 6B if they just block all the time use the cmd grab, cancel into it obviously. Tick throws are good. Always use back throw midscreen for better dmg meterless. You can delay 5B really long after 2B to trap people. 5B is +2 on block so you can 5B, 66, 5B, 66, 5B if you are good with dash pressure. j.2D can be substituted for neutral/forward jump j.D if they always counter j.2D after a while since you only have 2 moves that have jc. gl winning.
  18. If you get a really good one you can visually see him going forward then executing the move. Also you should be able to see the distance you end up if you go to lesson and do forward dash tk gustaf at max range. *EDIT' My input is same as yours, 662369A etc.

  20. After trying out someone speculations on how this works I actually believe said speculation to be true. Thought I'd update this thread about it if anyone else looks for this information. You rank up/down by playing people that are the same color as you are. I was orange and only focused on playing other orange players, sure enought I was pink in half a day. Also my friend tried out the same thing as yellow and got orange the day after. We both also ranked down people this way. I'm not saying this is 110% how it works but it sure looks like it from our trials.
  21. There aren't really any noteable Terumi players from Japan since as said it's console only. I don't know of any big name that plays Terumi that you see vids of posted at Nico. Also for replays uploaded that you can watch the "high ranked" ones with like Dan 10-14 are all kinda bad as well.
  22. I play him and Azrael on stream here and there. Planning on streaming this saturday on twitch.tv/inputlag but dunno if I'll whip out Terumi. Depends alot since I'm switching over to mainly Azrael. Also you can search for Terumi players on NicoVideo but imo they aren't that good for being JP players... This is the search link for Nicovideo for "Terumi" and sorted by newest video. If you need an account you're gonna have to google that one. http://www.nicovideo.jp/search/テルミ?sort=f&order=d
  23. Not like I'm trying to bully you into doing what I want with reason and logic but as said, just telling my side and reasoning. The EU scene is small and tourneys few and far between so if you'd ever choose to attend one it would be crap if you'd match up against a Nu player. Also even online there is a really limited set of players to play against and not shunning people will only help you improve your game.
  24. If you're making active choices not to play against certain characters you are refusing to learn. Now I bet you're not a tournament player since you're from EU but if you are... are you gonna leave a walkover if you'd ever had a Nu match? If and when you have to play that matchup I'd rather have some experience in the bag rather then to loose and just say "Nu is no fun" or whatever... I'm not disrespecting you mate, don't get me wrong. We are all different and play for different reasons I'm just expressing why I think you should play against your boring matchups. Also I don't know anyone besides SDF-- playing Nu i EU (atleast as main) and I'd like the matchup experince since I'm playing Azrael at the moment. It sucks most of the time but hey the wins are really sweet.
  25. The point is to win. Winning = Fun. There are different players. I play to win and thus having fun. 1:1 ratio minimum for having fun! I don't think people should avoid "boring matchups" because they need them... they are a part of the game. I don't see the point in only playing when the odds are always in your favor. I'm sorry but people who suck and are scrubs that never actually want to learn are the ones that doesn't deserve to play against me because that really gets my blood boiling. I feel really disrespected when people obviously worse than me tries to put me down for various reasons when they themselves lack enough insight to realize that they are scrubs and refuse to learn just auto-piloting the same sh1t for months.
