Decided to screw around with Boss characters for a bit. Here's what I've found that's not on here: Boss!Marge also has a triple jump, like pre-+R Justice. Her AoA is also air OK without needing to gatling from ground AoA. Her j.D and j.2D shoot 2 3-projectile spreads in sequence rather than a single projectile. Boss!Teddie has lower jumps and falls faster than Normal Teddie. Gets boss Justice air mobility in return. D buttons always throw 2 items. Boss!Liz's 5B has much larger range. Goes about half screen. She also gains the Justice range of air mobility: 3 jumps, 2 airdashes. Boss!Yu can't cancel specials into themselves. Also recovers really quickly during Ziodynes, to the point where he recovers while it's still active. Boss!Kanji is MUCH slower and has less range on CD. Also has much shorter forward airdash. Backdashes are like normal Kanji's. Grab damage buff does not apply to personaless 214C/D. 5C lost the ability to shock on block. Can still shock on hit. j.C returns to partial P4A glory, as it hits farther below Kanji. Still falls too fast to do air actions afterward. Sweep wallbounces, but loses Cruel followup. Boss!Labby SB Beast does 15k on raw hit. Super high meter gain, too; got 100 SP off of two auto-combos (it went to 100 during the first hit of the second 5AAA, in specific). Boss!Yukari's DP goes much father. About half screen. 2B and j.2B still need to charge in order to bounce, but 5B and j.B wallbounce innately. j.2B arrows and 236C/D followups do not ricochet. After a set distance (a little over half screen), 236A/B act as if they hit a Garu ball and home in towards opponent. Suspecting that this is how other arrows "ricochet" and home in on opponent. As a consequence of having a ridiculous amount of bullets and constantly being in Orgia mode, Boss!Aigis may be unable to use Extreme Orgia Mode. On Boss!Naoto's fate drain: just trying to throw (even if teched) will remove 1 fate. If successful, grab removes another 2 fate. Followup removes 1 fate. Every move that didn't remove fate originally seems to remove 1 fate. Even counter assault and teching grabs takes 1 fate. Moves that drained fate originally don't appear to be changed in terms of fate drain. Also, all of the DP followups can be done without activation of counter, not just shooting.

Other things that may not be important, but should be noted: Junpei's Clean Hit supers can Clean Hit outside of Victory Cry. If Junpei gets 3 balls, 2 outs, and 2 strikes, he'll gain a slight red aura and afterimage trail. In this state (dubbed Full Count in-game), the next bat attack Junpei uses will automatically Fatal Counter if it hits.

[P4AU] Kanji Tatsumi Gameplay Discussion "Brofist it out!"
shoryusatsu999 replied to A.X.I.S.'s topic in Kanji Tatsumi
Just found something really funky with SB (and ONLY SB; I checked the others) chair super. If you hold down any of the buttons until the initial swing occurs, Kanji will not do the rest of the combo and recover in time to do pretty much anything afterward thanks to the crumple the first hit does. If it were a spin like the second hit, it would even combo into SB grab super. Only works on hit, though. Might be gimmicky, but maybe it'd be worth something if it Fatals? -
Question: Is regular Burn My Dread okay?
-
Might be late tonight. Don't know for sure, what with exams and all. Please save a slot for me if I do end up late, though.
-
Reminder: Gonna be late to the meetup tonight because I have a volleyball game to attend.
-
Wasn't there also going to be P4D music DLC? If there is, I won't be surprised if it shows up when the game releases.
-
I think you first have to list them as a Good Player in your Player List, and then go there and designate your Rivals. Could be wrong, though.
-
Sho's throw tech and counter assault also apply his status effects.
-
Naoto also reloads her gun almost instantly, like in P4A. Margaret gets a massive damage boost and an unblockable Hassou Tobi.
-
The card represents how good you are compared to other players. White means you haven't played enough for the game to calculate your skill level yet. I think that the closer to red the color is, the better the player is. Also, for some stupid reason, you can't check your connection in arcade lobbies, though it should be possible in Player Match rooms.

The one method I've heard of that almost always works is to complete all four Risky Score Attack courses with a character to unlock their navigator... if they have one. AFAIK, the Shos, SLab, Marie and Marge don't have navs, and Adachi's has to be purchased.

We have meetups on Monday and Friday nights at about 9 EST. I think mixed explained it fully last page.
-
Played some test matches in lobby mode, and I think the crazy lag I had Tuesday is completely gone. Will have to make sure at 9, though.
-
D followup still needs 17 hits before it to fatal, so I guess it's for both damage and enabling the universal wallbounce.
-
They're both on the PSN Store. It's just that, for some reason, you have to search for "Ultimax," and Adachi is at the bottom of the list while Marie is at the top.
-
Wrong Arcana, buddy. Naoto and Labby are the resident Fortunes. Also, I now have Ultimax, and will be taking some pre-meetup time to explore the changes.
-
Fairly sure that they will appear on the PSN Store. They're free for EVERYONE, not just those who preorder. Think of it like Skullgirls's DLC character free periods.
-
I know that. For some reason, they're showing all of the launch-window DLC on the Xbox.com page for Ultimax except for the Adachi unlock.
-
They should be free on the store. Of course, it will have to update first, but I'm pretty sure that's how the FreeLC will work. Also, is it just me, or is Adachi not available on the 360 yet? I see the Marie DLC on their online DLC list, but no Adachi.
-
Wouldn't be surprised if it's patch - related. Gonna have to wait until the Margaret patch comes out in America, I guess.
-
Got a concert to go to that afternoon. Dunno if I'll be able to join in.
-
Welcome to the subs vs. dubs debate. I think we should keep that out of here, though, because the mods may not like that.

Dude, you can still use Japanese voices during the fights themselves. It's probably only for the story segments that voices are locked. Plus, it's likely that you can skip the story segments altogether and head straight to the fighting.
