  1. That makes zero sense. Pretty sure you could switch story voices last game, and there's no reason why they'd skip out on that this time around.
  2. Gonna be slightly late, but I WILL be on. Have hygiene things to deal with.
  3. To some people, it's more about win-loss ratios than anything else. Also, I will be able to play at the usual time tomorrow.
  4. Here's a link for those who didn't see the Adachi/Marie trailer on stream.
  5. You want a beginner character? There isn't a character that would be more familiar to newbies gameplay-wise than Narukami. Also, guys, I don't think I'll be able to do much tonight. Have to recover from the third day of Band Camp.
  6. Good news, everyone! We now know Ultimax's achievements! Click on a secret one to view it. Of particular note is the "Player List" feature discussed in one of them. Sounds like we'll be able to register people that we want to fight again on a database of some sort.
  7. Trailers would only confirm what attacks characters use. There have been several times where things like persona card amounts have changed between trailers and people getting their hands on the game. As for when, I assume it'd be either next week or some time after JP release, probably the latter.
  8. Not gonna be around for long for a while, because college.
  9. Yep. The guy who voiced Kanji in the second half of the anime and and will voice him in PQ and any new lines in Ultimax.
  10. There's gonna be an Atlus USA event going down at Super Arcade on August 20 at 8 PM. $5 dollar entry fee for a chance to play Ultimax on PS3 or 360 stations. There will also be a "grudge match" between Matthew Mercer and Alex Valle that will presumably end up on next week's WNF stream.
  11. I think you mean 1200 damage. 1,200,000 would make her severely broken.
  12. It's a normal super, so C and D versions cost 50 SP, and SB (the 5500 damage version) costs 75 SP.
  13. In P4A, it always came out instantly because the move didn't have separate versions per button. Now, it does, and only the C version comes out instantly. The other versions have about 10 frames of startup post-flash, I think.
  14. Eh. SB Burn to a Crisp!! doesn't do much more damage than Persona Install. I think it was 5500 damage raw. Also, you can jump it.
  15. Thanks to Atlus USA's Yu trailer, we now know the full raw damage of the secret super. 5051 damage.
  16. It looks like we've got the raw damage for Persona Install. 5051 damage.
  17. Oh hey. The lobby trailer got translated.
  18. I wouldn't be surprised if the icons end up shrinking again, but that would leave four new slots, and it's likely that only two would be used for random icons.
  19. Eh, they're not too obstructive. You can still see all of the important game elements even when a long-winded navigator starts a tirade.
  20. You do know that you can simply set the navigator volume to zero, right?
  21. If they are using Score Attack characters in that shot, that damage would not be surprising. Pretty sure everyone gets a damage buff in SA mode.
  22. GG survival is more like Abyss mode than it is like Golden Arena.
  23. Sounds like neutral against anyone with a lot of projectiles will be more like playing neutral as a grappler than usual, punishing bad usage of projectiles with more progress towards Victory Cry, where the real fun (and damage) begins. Most of Junpei's moveset seems to be well suited to playing an anti-zoner game as well:
  24. If the Velvet Roomers were actually Wild Cards, Atlus would have said so. Also, the power of the Wild Card is greater than simply being able to have and use multiple personas (P1 and P2's cast could do that, but are NOT Wild Cards; same goes for the rest of the playable cast in PQ). It's the ability to turn bonds into power (in other words, it's pretty much the justification for Social Links augmenting a Wild Card's Persona capabilities). The Velvet Roomers haven't displayed that ability, which is the hallmark of a Wild Card.
  25. Liz doesn't have the Wild Card either. She also uses the compendium, even after her card turns. Even though all of the Wild Cards we've seen are Fools, that does NOT mean that all Fools are inherently Wild Cards.
