hmmm, I'm gonna have to test a few things out with this. So far I'm thinking stuff like EW CH, rj.IAD jH, 5H>jc>jH,jD>j2K>jK,5H>PB or maybe some jKjK reps into PB. I'm probably months behind on this stuff. lol

I was listing things that don't need CH, but if there's gonna be a CH list I guess it would look like this. A move Slayer has CH DoT LOL when I played on pad failed DoT was my mixup. whiffed f.S over and over at the worst times was how I applyed pressure lol Ya, DoT FRC is TOOOOOOOOOO useful. 75% tension for 80%+ life on the entire cast... I think even Pot... you can also use it for some retarded stuff when you wanna fuck around. Blocked DoT>FRC>instant overhead>combo Blocked DoT>FRC>instant overhead (blocked)>land>tick throw Blocked DoT>FRC>land>bite just some dumb stuff that nobody expects lol Edit: The TRUE fuck around combo - c.S>f.S>jc>jD>DHD>c.S>f.S>jc>jD>DHD>bite>2D too many lols when that crap is done.

I see, just never really notice anybody do anything but the standard BnB or just BBU BnB combo off of 2H no matter what the spacing; despite there being better options available in term of dmg for tension spent.

I don't know if anybody has mentioned this at all... but I'm not gonna look back through all those posts right now. Anyways, if you land 2H pretty close (some closer than others, but all within throw range) you can do 2H>5K>jc>jS(1hit)>j2K>jK>land>5H>jc>Air dash>jD>j2K>jK>land>5K>jc>jS(2hit)>j2K>jK>jc>djD So far I've tested it on every male character and ABA and it seems to work as long as it was landed close, throw range =/ On Robo you drop the second relaunch and just do 5K>jc>jD and on potemkin you let the jS hit 3 times on the 2nd relaunch. Does an average or 170-180 dmg depending on character for no tension. Edit: so far ABA is the only female that it works on but I am messing around with 2H>jP>jK..... and it seems to have some promise.

Tips... hmm... be careful when you jump in on faust, unless you are coming from right above him his 5K anti airs you for free 80% of the time. Learn to react to item toss with DoT. You can DoT his from a little over 1/2 screen if he throws an item. He really can't do too mcuh to you once you get on top of him, most of the fight is just getting to him. learn some of the faust specific combos, they are fucking hilarious. Really all of this is pretty generic, so I would wait for CD to come in and give specifics since I never fight any good fausts.

I always thought that Necro would be the one to screw Bridget, his arm does turn into snakes during Dizzy's throw animation. If he can make snakes, he can make tentacles! Everybody knows that Bridget and tentacle rape go hand in hand.

I have no idea why, and I don't think I'll ever understand. You could argue that Jam's FB puffbunker is , but that's just a losing fight when you look at DoT FRC combos. Baiken is just beyond me, I'm still trying to think about that one... Baiken is no joke though, if you don't know that matchup it's frustrating as hell.

I agree to an extent, Urien and Ryu and even in terms of mathups, and both are right below yang and dudley. All of those characters can compete... just Don't play Urien against the twins:8/: Ryu and Yang aren't bad at all. If Ryu and Yang suck, then Urien sucks too because he's lower that Yang and even with Ryu (as stated above). Nobody in 3S has it as easy as Yun and Chun, NOBODY. You just don't see Ryu and Yang much, because there's better versions of each character thatn are easier to learn and play. Yun Chun ------------ Ken Makoto (debatably higher than Ken) Dudley Yang ------------ Urien/Ryu Akuma (don't go any lower.... it's just a bit of dispair beyond this point:8/: )

This is gonne be really bad an HORRIBLY inaccurate, but here's my try at it..... um S: ED-TE-SL-PO A: JA-BA-MA-AX-SO B: KY-VE-MI-FA-AB-OS C: RO-CH-ZA-JO D: BR-AN-IN Ya the more I look at it the less I agree with my own... hmmm That's true, and definitely with Slayer considering how his damage output just seems to keep increasing. It just seems to me that Testament will eventually take the top spot with Slayer so close behind that it can be agrued that he is on par. As for now though, Eddie>Testament>Slayer seems to be how it stands. I guess given 6 months or so Eddie might move to being below those 2.... but never lower.

So you would say that Slayer is better than Testament or Eddie? I was thinking ED>TE>SL, given that the difference between each is only marginal.

I don't have AC plus so I only know some of the changes that were made to the EX characters. I didn't realize that Sol's 236D had been balanced, thank god, so I guess I was at no real position to speak. I hadn't really noticed that Ky's 22D did no damage, the only things I've seen are what Tim showed me. It's still annoying as fuck though. lol EX Ky still has good mix-up in my opinion. His overhead options are MUCH better than most characters and he at least has the option of a decently fast cross up in the middle of short strings at mid screen. His throw game isn't anything notable, but it's still another option that most really don't have.

The entire reason I can't see EX characters being balanced even among themselves are EX Sol, Ky, and Eddie. Eddie for the reason stated earlier... it's just gruesome. Ky for the insane mix up and his lightning call, which is insane no matter how you look at it. "OH FUCK HE TWITCHED!" instant knockdown at any range. But most of all because of Sol's 236D, it's just too good. If he gets a knockdown with 25-50% tension at almost any range accept right in the corner it's almost a free win. The only options you have once he starts are to either IB that last hit and SJ out before the next one forces you to block, or to just take it and get juggled until you can recover. It's infinite blockstun... He's Black/Shadow Venom! Shit, you can beat every level of survival with that being the bulk of your strat.
