  1. My car troubles know no end. I really wanted to go especially when I saw all the zaibatsu people showin up. Anyways, currently I have a ride and gas, so if you haven't given up on me, I'm still interested in gatherings, but I have finals this week so my schedule til next, is a little shaky Man, I wanna play me some continuum shift though...   3. Cool man, I'm down My roommate has the ps3 in his room though, so I won't be online much, but I think the local arcade is going to start hosting Blazblue weeklies sometime soon.

  4. The B nail, from what I gather was designed to cover space so that you could close in...bang has nails, but he's not doing real damage from across the screen, B nail gave him a way to get in that was cheaper than D nail (A nail was very range dependent on if it left you with advantage or not, plus easier to dodge, C nail was slow and did nothing on block, D nail used up 3 times as many resources) the problem with CT B nail was that it halted momentum, so it completely screwed up the getting in part of covering ground, meaning you HAD to airdash/double airdash to get any kind of pressure going, also it exploded WAAAY too slow, so that after the first part of it hit (wether it hit the enemy, they blocked it, or it bounced off the ground) they had to go out of their way to get caught in the explosion) now it doesnt halt your momentum and you're quick to hit the ground afterwards so you can choose how you want to follow it up, and because the explosion is faster, if they try to jump out its either going to hit them or put them in continued blockstun, if they stay on the ground bang gets a good shot at a jump in as they still have to watch for the explosion. Either way its just easier to follow up and start pressure. And with bang's pressure being so much more effective/safe...this is a just a bonus that wasn't really needed...but hey! I'm not complaining
  5. everything bang does can go over 2500 now pretty much every hit leads to full combo, any ground hit can lead to at least 2 easy seals combos into super still do 3.8-4.4k on average non awesome starters j.4C is like my favorite move ever now 2D seems safe unless they IB it as most characters will be pushed to far to get in any ~5f punishes j.D seems neutral on block as long as you hit it low, actually people tend to block after blocking this move so it may be positive frames if you hit at the right height A nail/B nail is the shit 5A hits all crouching 6C hits all standing he has safe(er) string enders that take guard primers you dont have to worry about hit confirming shit, as anything into 2C or critical crash gives easy full combos + a seal or two didnt even ask for this change but 5B > 623B makes me cry tears of joy Gonna ride that S tier train for all its worth Seriously, playing with him is soooooo much better. Maybe the only char i MIGHT say isnt even or in his favor is litchi...arakune is still annoying as fuck but its about even. I didn't realize how much his new 2A would change bang, but people actually get scared now and its so much easier to get through someone playing defensively, and even easier to punish mashing. I don't even like playing FRKZ bang that much, but I use it constantly now just because it seems like I'm always sitting on 4 seals halfway through the match.

  7. 1 and a half thumbs up its what i expect out of online, i'd say its as good as BB which was better than i expected
  8. oh yeah i forgot to mention 6B blocked is almost safe, its fairly hard to punish without IB, and im pretty sure its comboable without counter hit edit, actually im not sure about that last part now that i think about it, i tend to play people that can't keep their fingers off the buttons

  10. i expected you to say that and i'm down to money match in this game if there's ever an opportunity but yeah, austin bb > houston bb (though last time it wasnt so one sided that i couldnt score several wins off some of his characters so don't make it out to be as bad as it was the first time...) jaison was the only one taking CS seriously i think, jan was good but tager was just too shitty in CS in CT what I can tell is kevin is hittin it hard and of course jaison is all over it...i still havent decided on a character

  13. is ashura the new super? I havent ever seen bang get hit out of it, as it has like 1f of start-up and seems to beat anything in that area, its unsafe on block though...almost as much as daifunka...but at least daifunka removes a guard primer :p i wouldnt be surprised to see a jin/ragna C/D uppercut go through it though, but it hasnt happened yet that i've seen (edit: this is because it doesnt appear to be active for very long at all) i wont be able to touch the game anymore til after thanksgiving =/
  14. Im not 100% on this but I swear I guard broke someone with 3C by the way 3C is not jump cancellable...ever and 5B is not jump cancellable on block

  18. well before i couldnt really use it because of the long start up, i'd get hit out of it by some bug and the super would be wasted now, if i'm cursed and need to hit him, i can toss the super and have "partitioned" off a a part of the screen, if he's in/near the corner it makes tagging him soooooo much easier granted this was basically me trying to play CT bang against an arakune who clearly was trying to play CT arakune edit, a "Against crouchers im pretty sure 6d > 6239b > daifunka works since the untech time was upd^." and yes this works, thats what i mentioned earlier, not 6D > daifunka
  19. so some stuff from playing j.4C is an amazing air to air, if they're horizontal or higher you'll more than likely beat any aerial attack B nail has the glide properties like a nail, its slow to come out though, u can use it to fastfall without getting a nail, but its not really useful as you have to cover a lot of distance for it to come out. A neat trick though is D nail, air dash, B nail, but low enough where the nail doesn't come out, command grab. The explosive part is faster which is nice It took me a while to get down that I had to j.4B to crossup, and j.4B was really screwin with my FRKZ combos, just somethin i have to get used to letting/not letting my fingers do I ended most strings with 623B once people started barrier blocking, it gives a lot of pushback and bang feels much stronger from neutral situations now. watch it though, cuz I know at least tsubaki and ragna can get decent punishes if they IB 623B from just about any range. Speaking of IB though, if someone IB's you're strings you don't have to bail immediately now. Bang feels a lot safer in that regard. And you can stop after 2A and sometimes even 5B run in and continue your string for added pressure. 5A > 2A > 5A > 2A > 2A means i can FINALLY FORCE SOMEONE TO STAY ON THE FUCKING GROUND I didn't get to use his new super much, I just punished someone with it, looks neat, decent damage. yay It IS blockable though...darn. Nail super vs arakune is now sex assuming you can kill him without nails afterwards. dunno if it was mentioned, but you can do X X 2C > 6D > 6239B > daifunka, i know it works on at least tsubaki and hazama so i'd imagine it works on everyone I'll probably go play more tomorrow.
  20. 2A recovers VERY VERY fast, lovin it guy did 5A, 2A, 5A, 2A, 2A to mess with a guy tryin to IB omg omg, i'm bout to head out to go play this, can't wait

  24. srry if i missed it, but whats the secret to hitting j.D > j.2K after an airdash, like 2S CH > IAD... or 5H > IAD my j.D always hits em to the ground =/
