So who won that tournament from June 5?

Mugen is free. It's a really old engine created by Elecbyte that was released in 1999. I was surprised how old it is when I found out. I first startled playing mugen in 2008. In mugen you can make any character from any fighting game, cartoon or anime fight each other. There's no bigger crossover than this. You can make your own character by using Fighter Factory but that's hard to do if you don't know how to code. You can try finding characters you want here http://mugen.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Characters or in Google type Mugen and the name of the character you want. To add a character first download and unzip the file. A folder with the character's name will come out. Copy and paste that folder into the "char" folder. Then go to the folder name "data" and open the "select" def file. It looks like a notepad. Scroll down until you see "Insert your character below". Hit enter to make an empty space like in the picture. That's where you put the name of the character's folder. Click on file then save. Open mugen and the character should be in the character select screen. You can also download and add stages. Download the stage and put it in the "stages" folder. Unzip it and the SFF and the DEF file will come out with the name of the stage. Open the same Notepad where you add the characters. Scroll down until you see [ExtraStages]. Hit enter to make a space and type "stages/name of the Def file.def. Example: stages/Concert Hall.def Then click on file and save. Unfortunately nobody as made the Aquapazza version of Chizuru in mugen yet for you and I doubt she would be exactly like the real one too. The only Chizuru there is is the Queen of Heart 99 one: http://network.mugenguild.com/guild/mugenwiki_qoh9899.html

You can get it in many sites in Google. Type mugen download. Mugen will only come with one character name Kung Fu Man. He's a weak character and to get other characters, you will have to download and add them to mugen. If you plan on actually playing mugen instead of just watching the AI fight each other like some people do, be careful on what characters you download. Some characters are really cheap and can kill you fast. The two characters I use in mugen is Yuki and Rina and I have beaten many cheap characters with them. You don't need a special engine to run it but there are some special moves that can lag the game, if you're using a slow computer like me. There are screenpacks that can increase the number of slots to add more characters. I don't recommend fighting characters like that Tamaki until you become good at beating brutal and cheap characters.

Yes the online is dead. Very niche game. I play mugen now and speaking of mugen, someone released a Tamaki beta in mugen. She does not play 100% the same way like the real one like many other mugen characters. Her throws doesn't deal near splash art damage and she was given a counter move, which the AI tends to use every time you use a normal. She's one of those cheap characters but I figured out how to beat her.

Did you even play a match? If you got a new PS3 and didn't carry over the data from your other PS3, your Oboro rank is going to reset to F if you play a match on that PSN account. The server will take some time to update it after that one match. I backed my data just incase I accidently delete my Aquapazza. I was an S+ and went back to AA+ I think.

There's no point in caring too much about leaderboards. There will always be boosters that will mess it up. Especially in a game that nobody plays. There was a reason why BlackNeppy boosted. He's data got corrupted and he startled boosting to get his rank back. But then he went beyond that and reached GOD rank.

You're playing online. People say Manaka is high tier in lag.
-
A teacher that thinks Hakuoro is overpowered? Hakuoro is somewhere at the bottom of the tier list. Sure you have never beaten my Hakuoro but that doesn't mean he's broken. It just means you need more training and lots of it. People like eh-sama and anyone better than him are better suited to be teachers. You're not at the level to be considered a good teacher, especially when you still think Hakuoro is top tier. I don't believe when you say you don't wanna play eh-sama just because you God rank three characters and now play the teaching lesson role. You just don't wanna lose because you always take it to the heart. What skill level of players did you played against to reach God rank with three characters?

I actually recorded our matches that we had a year ago and uploaded to Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UU7Ze7ZmF8s&list=PLnxrZESWUvGmvjvWyTMgAleNdR-J1QCT-&index=6I can see you made some mistakes like not using Ma-ryan when she was still close to me, after you were sent to the other side of the screen while I was activating my super armor. You also randomly try to use level 3 without knocking me down first. The tiger can hit Chizuru from anywhere on the ground. You can try watching those to help practice if you want. You have a Youtube channel? What's it called? The video I'm talking about is grand finals near the end: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Koz-hyIAlPs&index=15&list=PLT1a3Ajiu2xabWR1iawHxhNvRCrSEfdOI Now that I'm addicted to White Album and the song, Riannon is my most used character. Hakuoro is still my main, it's just that Riannon has Yuki.
-
I only watched the final video. Bad idea on level 3 at the end. Maybe he wanted to get health back because Chizuru's level 3 makes her healing a little faster.
-
Do you mean impact guard? Yes you can do it in the Yuki assist. Part of the reason why Aquapazza lags is the majority of PS3 players are using wireless instead of wired.
-
I never knew the game has combos like that. The game is so balanced because everyone has an infinite.
-
Is it bad that my Riannon never uses Stella Maris? (The orange ball that floats in the air and shoots 16 little projectiles) I can't seem to install that into my playstyle because it's too slow, but my Riannon does ok without it. But what if I do need it? If you see me do it, it was by accident. I will use it against a camping Manaka though. Edit: I see DJ Cream plays like me. Doesn't uses Stella Maris. I was in training room testing who has the longest lasting low emotion and the one with the longest is Awarn, while Konomi has the shortest. I did this after hearing eh-sama saying Chizuru has a long lasting low emotion from a Norcal video. I didn't know the characters having different low emotion durations.

I played it during the SNES days and enjoyed it. But when I played it now, I realized how terrible the engine is and how cheap the CPUs can be when they have low health. My favorite is the Blob and his only good design was in the first game. He didn't look good in the sequels. I don't understand all these people saying his buzzsaw move is cheap. You can actually crouch under it. At least with the Blob, I didn't test all the other characters. Are there any characters that can't crouch under the buzzsaw move? I know the cpus doesn't crouch under it. If the other characters can do it, then it was pointless to nerf it in the tournament edition.

Ah no the online is dead. He's probably playing offline with friends or Cagednightmare who is still playing the game. He wants to God rank Sasara and might stop playing the game when he's done with that.
-
I just played like 30 matches today. Some were laggy, some were perfect. I'm angry about the laggy ones. There was an online tournament last night. I wasn't in it so I was only allowed to watch.
-
Yeah I was looking at that. The fact that Petra is one of the few that has hitbox pictures makes me think people were really curious on what does the hitbox of that gun looks like and see if it has any hurtboxes.
-
When you guys get the framedata for Love Max, are you gonna upload pictures of every move in the game? I liked looking at the hitboxes. Edit: Can you move this to the Q&A thread? I forgot it was there.
-
According to the video description, it's only in six stars.
-
It was only a what if question.
-
How about balancing some of the assist? I remember people said that Ma-ryan and Satsuki are the best and are the most braindead assist. Especially with the Chizuru and Satsuki combination. Maybe increase the time it takes to recharge Satsuki's meter? She brought a gun to a sword/fist fight.
-
I can't think of a fighting game that has more girls than men and isn't niche.
-
So is there's anything you guys want in this game to be buffed and nerfed or you do think this game is really balanced? I once said before that the Tamaki 720 super should do less damage because the full damage is a one meter splash art. Just trying to bring up some interesting conversations in this dead thread.
-
I would like more modes in the second game. I can't believe I got a perfect on the Chizuru boss with Riannon and didn't record it. I didn't use healing, it's not even worth it in that fight. Am I the only one with videos of the stories on the hardest difficulty? Most videos I see are at low difficulty.
-
I want an option to fight the bosses immediately. I want to do five rounds but that will take a long time to reach the boss. Riannon really does no damage on Chizuru boss in low emotion except with super. It's like Chizuru has infinite health during that time. By the way Chizuru can render Yuki useless with that emotion super.
