A tournament with lag? That will be terrible.

@deadfrog: I already know about those ranked match options. Took me a while to figure out though. I have moved on from this game since I don't like waiting in that lobby. If anyone wants to fight me, name the date and time. Anytime will do. This way I won't have to wait.

It would have been best if you had check to see how active is the online before buying it. The online is dead due to the bad netcode where playing with Japaese players is a bad idea. It's gonna have lag and you can't do your combos. Another reason is the game is niche so some people only buy it for trophies.

One advice I can give to Hakuoro players when fighting Chizuru is if she's in low emotion and you have yellow health and three meter, use the splash art when she try to jump in. It's gonna guard break her and still deal a lot of damage. It saved me against this green connection Chizuru that had no lag. He was good but mostly getting bodied and needs more matchup experience. Although ehuangsan said you can impact guard the splash art. I wanna see a video of that.

I can only impact guard the first hit. I did get lucky one time and impact guard four times. Can anyone tell me what's the max damage of Tamaki's giant swing and the super version? I can't do it with my pad and it hurts my hand. I know the screen is suppose to turn red when you get the max damage. How do you impact guard every hit? I tried it before in training mode and couldn't do it.

Did you guys know that if you use Hakuoro's Witsarunemitea splash art on Arawn, Oboro, Morgan and Chizuru while their are in low emotion, it will guard break them and still deal 10000 damage? These characters guard break the fastest and I think it's the reason why Chizuru's health slowly regenerates. You're gonna need a way to get in though, or use it when their trying to jump in. It doesn't matter if they block while they are in low emotion and the splash art is almost impossible to impact guard. Konomi will guard break too but only take 8913 damage. All the other characters requires more block stun.

Here's a warning. If NerdEssa comes into your room, just kick him out. We startled two matches and all he did was stand there doing nothing. He kept coming back in after I kicked him, while interrupting my 2C punish training. By the way I have found some combos with Hakuoro/Camyu. 8000+ damage with just two meter, which is a lot better than the Fujin Ransen super that only does 6530. If any other Hakuoro/Camyu mains wants to see the combos, I can make a video. I wish I knew about these combos earlier. So many big damage opportunities missed.

There's no such thing as a fighting game, where you have good connection with Japanese people is there? This is the first fighting game I played online for the PS3, so I don't know. The online isn't exactly worldwide, if US and Japan can't play with each other due to bad connection.

This game is the reason why I haven't been making that many Youtube videos. It's hard to put it down.

You have to be in Japan to enjoy the online of this game. I always make a room to see if there's anyone in the US that wants to fight, especially those who just want the Player Match trophy. I would go to Norcal if it wasn't so far away.

Nah I like Oboro with Ocativa, even though they don't work well together. They both have swords and almost the same fighting stance. Camyu is not even a good assist for Hakuowlo either, but I use her because I liked the Utwarerumono anime. The originality of this game will die, if everyone only uses the best stuff. Riannon is a different story though. She really needs Yuki. The whole Arawn DP thing had nothing to do with lag. I had no idea how to deal with a DP heavy Arawn with Oboro. Inputs were ok on my end. I just now realized that I can use Oboro's counter against wakeup DP.

He's saying I was having a hard time getting in with Oboro against his Arawn, because he kept using DP. (Yes me and him played a lot of matches online) I don't know what to do in that Rinannon/Tamaki match up anymore. Hakuoro is all I got now if I want to win. I will still use Riannon and Oboro whether I win or lose, because having more than one mains is more fun to me. Maybe I should go back to Yuki.

Does anyone here knows Japanese? What do the characters say, when you pick them in the character select?

How much damage does it do? Anybody want to make a screenshot? The video on Youtube doesn't help because the Critical Hearts are being used on low health characters. I want to see it done on full health. Do you mean it does too much damage without extend force?

I wish I could fight those high rank Japanese players in player match, but they have red delay and will not enjoy fighting me. I have fought and managed to beat some of them before. The one with the orange delay in ranked wasn't too bad and playable. Me and ukyo_rulz should teleport and switch places. You get these easy Americans with bad habits and just brought the game and rage quit, while I get the one year experienced opponents.

Where would you put him in the tier list? He has short reach normals, which is why I use him as a zoner and get close when the time is right. This works well unless you're a good blocker and know how to impact guard. He has counters to make up for his short range normals, but you'll have to be lucky to catch someone with those, unless their really predictable. I wish you can combo into his overhead from his 5A/2A. This would make it confusing to know where to block. I'm no expert so enlighten me.

You're that Chizuru player that I played against today. Good game. The online is dead unfortunately, but I'm online everyday to give people someone to fight with. I'm also not a newbie, so if you're looking for an active player that will give you a challenge in Player Match, I'm the only go to guy right now.
