  3. Dunno if this was posted already, but you can clash kuuga with vatistas 64 laser charge move. Look hilarious because the hitbox for the laser disappears, but he animation is still hitting you.
  4. Obviously not playing the right high ranks. Jokes aside, against merkava, like luna said earlier you really have to inch your way forward, its a 50/50 battle once your in range of roll/assault. You either guess an anti-air command grab and roll, or guess the grounded command grab and assault. But once you can lock merkava down in a corner, hes yours since he has no REAL reversal option, and even then his ex236c trades almost 100% of the time if you meaty him with 5b. For Gord it depends on the player, just learn their blockstrings and where they reverse beat and usually you can roll through one of his normals or projectile it. Otherwise cross your fingers and hope he doesn't shit on you.
  5. If it helps, try breaking down combos into combo paths, since a lot of times how and where you hit confirm will change you combo completely. For example, an easy bnb is 5b 5c 2c 214aa j236b j5c 5b 6b 2b 2c 6ccc 236c dc 5BC 5c, however this combo wont land if you confirm the 214aa too far away. You can break this down to starting with 5b 5c 2c 214aa. Practice this part of the combo over and over again until you have it down to the drop. Now try working on the second half, and the alternate combo route (i just use 6ccc if the 214a is too far away) and remember those as two seperate combos. Your body will always remember 5b 5c 2c 214aa and after a couple games you can reflexively do the second half depending on how you hit confirm. Hope this helps even a little ><

  7. Whats everyone using for pressure? I tend to just spam the shit out of 5a reverse beat after something like 2c and randomly throw in 63214. Is stagger and dc'ing the projectile the only other options?

  10. Hey guys. So i recently dropped terumi in 1.1 for izayoi because flying. I was wondering what were my options for pressure game? I use 2c and j5c a lot but i feel like a one trick pony. Are there other pressure options I have? Also, if anyone is willing to hold my hand online and help baby play his first real character, it would be much appreciated.
