Where do people get all these unspoken rules about how someone else plays? Short of cheating, the object is to win. If you can't block high, I'm using overheads. If you can't deal with zoning, I'm throwing up projectiles left and right. Stop trying to tell people how to play a game they paid for

I want to know why people play ranked

I can answer that one. Some of us just like variety. I play about 70% of the cast because I have fun doing so. If I get tired of playing one character, I can either default back to Izayoi, or play one of a dozen or so others. It's just fun for me I guess. Usually if I get asked to stay on one character I have no problem with that. Hell, I spent 2 hours once playing Valk so one of my friends could get some matchup experience. Just ask the guy to pick one character, you never know, he might just do it.

I was always of the opinion that the player makes the character good. All you have to do is look at Ruu, Satou, Goro, Daiwa, Damosu, etc

Go to the settings and under signature click the smiley face and the menu should pop up at the bottom of the text box

Incorrect. 1.1 fixed the input buffer because the motions weren't coming out right, or too precise depending on your point of view. It was definitely in the patch notes. Being a pad player this made a huge difference to me.

I hope not, because that opens the floodgates for a bunch of other stuff that may or may not be fixed

I was being sarcastic. As far as I know Izayoi's netplay tactics either don't exist, or I haven't earned enough scrub points to learn them
