Its only mashing if it doesn't work
-
It's definitely not Haku exclusive, I murdered by everyone (especially Bullet) in the air with Relius and Izayoi.
-
I hear about this problem a lot. Oddly enough, I don't have input issues unless I find out I'm playing in an underwater connection.

For GG: Based on your interests, Millia would be a pretty good option for you, as she isn't very difficult to use and has the closest resemblances of the characters previously mentioned. I-No is fun, but she is the most technically demanding character in the game (so far), so be prepared to live in training mode. Ramlethal, from what news there is sounds like a beginner character, but we'll have to see how that pans out first so..... As far as BB is concerned: Bullet is probably the easiest character I've used in BB, but then I don't use Terumi, Ragna, or Jin so meh. She has a lot of momentum heavy tools and can do disturbing damage with Heat Up levels, but she has a difficult time with a lot of different characters (why no run dash Arc?!) so again, be prepared. Hakumen isn't really a difficult character to use, his BnB's just have different height and time adjustments when compared to the rest of the cast. I'd recommend him if you have no problem rushing people down like crazy even though you play a defensive character playing patiently and confirming into big damage in neutral, but again, get comfortable in training mode. Litchi, while generally considered execution heavy, is really not that bad at all. Her difficulty mostly stems from understand control of the neutral game and being able to confirm from certain attacks that carry to the corner. It would take a while to break this character down, but once more, training mode is your friend here. Some other characters I'd suggest if you're open to trying them out: Terumi, Relius, Bang, Platinum, Kokonoe.

Pretty much Player matches are usually the way to go for me.
-
No sir. And netplay does affect inputs, especially weird link combos
-
Question, what is general opinion on the Izayoi matchup? I have yet to actually play it. Please don't infract me?
-
Thats actually a pretty good question
-
Pretty much. I remain firmly in the "wait and see what happens" camp. I'm not saying have faith, just have patience.
-
Which is exactly why I believe the news thus far has either been fabricated or that at some point they will pull their craniums out from their gonads and apply some sense into the final decision.
-
I'm still in the camp that believes they won't change that much about him. The "notes" I've read are so outlandish that they can't be accurate, but who knows. I hope not. One of the things I like about Valk is his technical difficulty. It keeps a lot of wishy washy players away (see Kokonoe playerbase for references) and makes him more fun and satisying to play overall. I also love hate the fact that he has a smaller playerbase overall, because as much as people complain about him, not too many players have encountered a good Valk so I know a lot of it is pure bullshit (pardon my French)
-
Its difficult, no doubt. However, its not impossible to block. His niche is insane mixup. He no longer can do meterless 6k combos (which is a great thing imo), his wolf mter regen means a LOT less Sonic the Hedgehog during matches, and newer but slower high/low wolf normals means mixup is more varied, but nerfed overall. I kinda disagree with Stellar (respectfully) as I believe he is still high tier, just not top tier. If Arc takes away wJc he is screwed. He will literally get no damage from the only alternative (wJa) and loss of command grab will be the final nail in his coffin.
-
His mixup is not unblockable. It's actually been nerfed since CSE.

Shoutouts to Netplay tha gawd

As stated before, it has slow start up, but this can create a nasty frame trap for those who fall in love with pressing buttons. Since Relius is a frame trap character, this shouldn`t shock anyone, but it does catch mashers off guard. Against Haku it works because it throws Zanshin off, unless it gets read.

I honestly don't mind Az remaining the same. Now if some other characters would remain nearly untouched....
-
Damned if they didn't accomplish that
-
I heard somewhere that Plat was meant for beginners too, and well, not too many newer players use her. I'd actually prefer it if she was made to be a more technical character, but that's just me.

You can't be serious. Anime fighters are loli safe haven. If you want beefy testosterone figures, USF4 is right down the hall sir. Please close the door quietly, as they believe they're the only ones here.

I think you need a hug
-
And so it begins.....
-
I never said he needed to be, I just explained why some people might look at him now how they do, as Airk asked.
-
Thats why I said that. And as for 1.1, Ragna is indeed solid, but he just doesn't have that "umpf" that would make him a top contender. Dem CP nerfs tho
