  1. Shield animation is projectile invul in start-up right? I imagine shield is actually good for calling out reversals. I think I've seen a Rise use shield through a projectile and then get the advantage but I don't remember. If it's projectile invul it should beat things like Liz's agi oki after 2C, right?
  2. 1) stagger seems better to me (5aa) 2) haven't seen aoa outside of corner mixups and i assume 5aaa > sweep > notes is an occasionally good idea on block (5aaa) 3) (5c) do you mean dash cancelling after 5c during pressure? tbh it didnt seem that safe in 1.1 and i dont think its a good idea in 2.0 4) (j.B) umm it's still good especially for mixups. i think the hitbox is still above average. 5) (j.2B) nope if rise is too low from opponent second hit will drop. 6) (AoA) tbh i haven't seen a huge AoA increase in 2.0 in general outside of combos but i imagine its slightly better for those scummy corner mixups. 7) (Throw) i dont think so 8) (Note Hitbox) it's pretty real. midscreen mixups are much scarier now. 9) (214a) idk when you would really use it on block so idk. i think sb is still bad because the routes it might open up are already achievable through 2ab > 236c combos. 10) (214c) i don't imagine so...iirc it's only invul during animation but i doubt the recovery would make this very safe. 11) (214214c/d) i think you need to use it during an sb rain combo because of the longer start up or something

  7. marge with meter has tons of stuff to counter our unblockables. when setting those up pay attention to her meter and perhaps bait a reversal our zoning really loses to her quite a bit here. pure zoning will not work well. AoA is not really an issue imo. havent fought too much of this mu anyhow...
  8. is sb dance's minimum damage 1500? i thought it was 2000 but i just did a super neta combo and it only did 1500

  10. how does rise deal with her trap game? 2c gets blown up by her gun. should i use it while shes in the air or something
  11. it is so you have to wait and find a good spot to use it. for example when marge uses j.2d or something similar it might be a good time to pop an arrow rain or a 2c. all you really have to do is wait for a moment to get in. j.c is great in general. i don't think marge really has a free answer to j.c anyways unless you use it right in front of her face j.d slightly off the ground will bypass her sweep most of the time. its ok to use it once in a while. if they dont expect it they probably wont 236c
  12. j.C is useful use arrow rain, 2c, and 5d whenever possible to get in when you manage to get in margaret doesnt have good defense so its pretty easy to rushdown
  13. whats the best crouching confirm corner combo? i use 5aa > 2b > 5b > 5c > 22b > 5c > 236b > 5aa for a note oki reset gimmick etc but i think there are better things than that i do prefer things like oki and resets more than dmg tbh but the higher dmg ones are good too

  16. whoops my mistake (sorry was being a bit haughty) after actually testing it and looking into i think it actually probably has to do with the position of the character during the first hit of arrow rain. someone who's actually good can confirm this tho lol like for example 5aa > 2ab > 236cd > 66 5c > 22b > 214a works on the timing you use
  17. ^ i haven't compared 2b > 5c yet, just i thought about 236cd after watching some 2.0 stuff. i should compare the damage output. it's just timing. you don't 214a right away obviously so you have to delay it a bit. i haven't timed how long u should do it (:v) so you can probably just get it down to muscle memory. i can try timing it later for an example or visual cue, maybe someone else will clarify
  18. i have some anti air combos though idk how optimal they are 2B > jc > j.B > j.236CD > 5AAA > 214A (CH) 2B > jc > j.C > j.236CD > 66 5C > 22A > 5C > 5D > 214A (CH) 2B > jc > j.C > j.236CD > 66 5C > 22B > 214A > run up 5D (CH) 2B > jc > j.C > j.236CD > 66 5C > 214B > 5AAA > 214A sometimes you don't 66/dash based off of spacing are there better combos?
  19. Midscreen you can do 5AA > 2AB > 236CD > 66 5C > 22B > 214A > Run up 214214C/D iirc? Not sure if it's CH only since I never really do it but it exists. Off a CH/FC, 2B > 22AB > delay 236A > dance also works midscreen in ther corner it's an easy combo, 5AA > 2B > 5C > 22A > delay 236A > 214214C/D works. If the opponent is crouching you can use 22AB instead of 22A since iirc 22A doesn't confirm off of crouchers. You can get dance unblockable with grab (after grabbing quickly OMC and then dance super), though that's corner only.

  21. So when you get pinned down, what exactly can you do? I don't really know when to retaliate and all I can really do to escape pressure is guard roll or a lucky DP here and there

  24. I mean if you play on a contoller her Agi combos might require remapping because you have to hold buttons down But mostly no, not really IMO.
  25. I thought the Dance super was supposed to have an increased difficulty? It looks the same, except that it's shorter which probably actually makes it easier.
