  1. Only online play counts. i.e. Ranked shuffle, Ranked team and Online mission for online mission, every stage counts as 1 deployment.
  2. Thanks so much for answering my question! Now that I know that my previous strategy was on the right track. I totally feel that playing as a melee partner is a lot more exciting and satisfying than as a ranged suit.....yep... lol
  3. when playing as a back melee, sometimes I find that either Im not much of a help to my 3k partner when sticking close to him (which usually get all the BRs aimed towards him and I didnt have enough fire power to really force a misplay). Or if I try to pressure the opposing back player, Ill get too separated from my partner which, a lot of times, create an unfavourable 2v1 situation. I find that most of the time, either I took too much damage on my partners 1st life to become useful in his 2nd, or I play too conservatively in his 1st life which makes us lose in the damage race in his 2nd life. I cant really find the balance between being supportive and contributing to damage output. (hope you guys know what I mean as I dont think I explained it too well.... but for people who has partnered a 3k with a melee suit before should have an idea as to what Im trying to say) So I guess patience is the key? So.. do you guys control Strike Freedom differently compared to other suits because of his slower fall speed? I used to play vanilla as well but the only suits I used in ranked matches are Susanowo and F91 so I dont really have experience on any 3k suits... lol.
  4. Hey... did you guys realised that a few 3k suits are missing from the "300 costs suits" forum?? i.e Destiny, Strike Freedom, Turn X, X1 FC...etc.... I was gona try to find some control and gameplay strategy on strike freedom but couldnt find its thread.... So maybe ill ask here..... Any1 feels that Strike Freedom lands a lot slower compared to other suits?? it almost feels like its "floating" in mid air before it lands.... and it really bugs me as I keep getting punished on landings. Also... Since someone brought up the topic of playing the back role in the game. I might as well ask a similar question... How should you play and control health if you are a more melee focused suit (Eg, Exia, red frame, altron, GP02 etc) partnering up with a 3k suit??
  5. I prefer using rail over beam launcher. Mainly because of the faster bullet speed. I only use beam launcher either if I can hit confirm with br or going for br > ab spam.
  6. After playing against it a few times, I think the no.1 thing you can do as a Re-Gz player is to screw up your opponent's camera and use it to your advantage. I have seen so many people caught by her main because of the high firing angle or they are locked onto the other suit. Dun underestimate how annoying it is when you switched your lock and find your screen is entirely covered up by your own mech... haha
  7. 1 more important note that should be included i think is that the Murasame in attack support mode will get destroyed if hit by ur opponent, unlike DX's and Sazabi's support. So you should be extra careful when using them as attack as it would be a waste if they cant even get 1 shot off before getting destroyed lol.
  8. Seems like his bread and butter move is 2b->CSa or 2b>2b->CSa. But thats like his only useful move in the game. His 6b is so slow that I got countered pretty much 90% of the time. BC is only useful when rescuing teammates. Its quite hard to play an aggressive style with him. o.. also.. his ab doesnt reload until you have used them all, which sometimes is a pain...
  9. Does 8b and BDb have super armour? (since they are not "slash" moves) If yes then...1 interesting thing I found is that you wont loose your CsB charge no matter you hit or whiff when using those moves. but with regards to the super armour.... say u use 6b and enter melee and got hit once (but no effect due to super armour), then you side step and 6b again. Does your super armour resets and will still be active on ur 2nd 6b??

  12. Thanks for explanations! I read through your comment and went to play a few games afterwards, using 4AB a lot more and play more patiently trying to corner the other team and force them to make a move. Definitely see the improvement in terms of damage dealt and survival rate. However now I ran into a problem where the opposing team tried to focus down my partner and take him out first (Im only playing on ranked shuffle so our communication is limited). I had a few matches where my partner actually died before me (Mainly due to BR attacks and not melee). Ex-S is still a very big problem for me. When he tries to keep a distance from you and he got a very strong partner (An IJ in 1 of my games) who kept staying in front of him and stop me from charging in. And I didnt know BC > Block can be used repetitively in over heat. Thats a great tip! Will definitely incorporate this into my game play. Thanks!

  14. Tryflozn, thanks so much for ur advice! Im not aware that 4AB and 6AB actually have different block properties lol. Always thought they are the same except the motion starts at different sides. I have to agree with you on the breaking opposing team's formation, sometimes I tried to do this when I partner with suits like X2, Kashatriya. But usually I took too much damage while trying to find holes in their formation (yes... Im not toooo good at avoiding damage and quite often gets punished at landing...). Can you give me some advice as to how will you help trying to break their formation? or just leave that for your partner? I am also having a lot of trouble closing in on suits that has lots of BR or projectiles (eg Xi, reborns, EX-S, nu), can you give me some advice as to how to handle them? I used to use hit BC + B move quite a lot but now I hardly use it because I found it very risky. Do you find that move useful in any situations during the game? I have seen the infinite combo in nico vids but I think its more like a gimmick cause I dont think anyone will be able to pull it off during a 2v2 fight.. lol. I have a lot of respect for Epyon players because I think it is the hardest suit to play (having no range options what so ever). It is so satisfying as an Epyon player when are able to dominate and win a match. It is definitely a playable suit in the game and can be very scary too!
