  1. Ouch. Completely forgot about that post. Knew I was forgetting something.
  2. I don't think anyone mentioned this, but from the 4chan rip yesterday I found Margaret's official US title: http://gyazo.com/53f393e1b9ec2166917b06f10dd44733 and this http://gyazo.com/e3158ac4d83232b0e9eed437dbb0ea32
  3. For those wishing to experience angry ranting and spoilers like they've never seen before, it's all about to go down right here: https://boards.4chan.org/vg/thread/78081595 DON'T CLICK ON THAT UNLESS YOU'RE FULLY READY TO HAVE THIS GAME SPOILED. I'm lookin' at you, FluxWave.
  4. Yeah but it also could have been shadow Chie or Shadow Yosuke doing combos like that. Even shadow Kanji has good shadow combos. I was saying Elizabeth's instakill is actually viable against shadow characters as a whole. That shadow Mitsuru could have opened up any character just like Damosu got opened up. Yeah Elizabeth is C tier, but she can still have like 1 or two pros in the myriad of cons.
  5. Maybe he meant the JP download dates/prices. I know Adachi is free on purchase for the first print hard copies, but the download copies don't include him, so it'd be nice to know when he will be in the JP PSN.
  6. Elizabeth confirmed 8th gen Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon. This is how I imagined the shadow Mitsuru player looked when he realized he was stuck in Damosu's instakill combo: http://gyazo.com/97fefa894324c9ed44bb1404a1b1542b
  7. I created/discovered a Merkava combo that works anywhere on screen and pushes the opponent into the corner. I've noticed a few other Merkavas using this online (or something similar), perhaps because it revolves mostly around the C button so it doesn't drop in lag all to easily. 2A>2B>2CC>j.C>j.B(2)>j.2C>2C>5C>4B (2373/35.97) Note that when doing this midscreen you have to jump towards the opponent after 2CC, rather than just straight up. As far as I know, all of Merkava's good starters can confirm into this combo. Additionally, you can tack a super on the end, though for the route I use it doesn't always work on every starter, but you can just CS and use a super depending on the starter used. After 4B: 236B>41236D (4246) While this combo definitely isn't the best out there, I feel like it is really good for people just trying to get a footing, as it has no dashing involved.
  8. 1) I played Y2 connections and didn't lag at all. Those kind of connections caused lag in other fighting games. 2) I believe I saw the lobby option on network mode, but I didn't go in and check for myself. I'm almost certain it was lobby mode though. 3) Honestly not sure on this one. 4) There is survival mode, where you have to keep fighting foes without hp recovery, with one round victories to decide who wins. 5) You can unlock IP points through story mode, survival mode, score attack, versus mode (person or CPU), and online. I got around this much for each: Story mode: 5800-6500 IP per arcade mode beat Versus mode and online: 500 IP per match Survival and score attack was anywhere from 1000-5000 IP; I completely forgot. I keep thinking 3000 IP or so but I'm not entirely sure. I found playing with my friend and online is the best way to get tons of IP, but if you want your fancy 2500 IP color before going online, just beat your favorite character's arcade mode.
  9. It's because most of us haven't gotten a feel for the game (most; some people here seem to have gotten it down well). The reason I feel mash seems viable for beginners in this game is that you can mash after being knocked down and punish your opponent if they are attacking too. This is in contrast to Persona 4 Arena, where you are basically someones master if you knock them down. It only took a few days to get used to before mashing became as nooby as in any other game (and therefor the least viable option).
  10. From what we got to see so far, Adachi looks.....interesting. His normals look a bit short and lacking, but his command grabs and supers look like they have potential. His move involving fear has been left unexplained, so there is still room for more potential. The fact that he has 4 cards makes him feel even more like a Narukami with inferior normals, but time will tell what tricks he still has left. No matter what though his moves look sweet.
  11. I'm no expert, but if it's like the Blazblue lobbies, the avatars are characters. Perhaps like the blazblue lobbies, there will be potential the customize the color of your avatar, like: http://i0.wp.com/shoryuken.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/bbcp-blazblue-chronophantasma-release-22.jpg Or maybe it'll even include accessories: http://i1.wp.com/shoryuken.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/bbcp-blazblue-chronophantasma-release-23.jpg That's about all that can be surmised from the Blazblue info without going into wild speculation.
  12. There were some DLC lobby characters from Xblaze and Magical Beat, so it is possible that there is room for DLC/nonplayable characters (Dojima, Nanako, etc.). Some of the DLC for Blazblue: https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/games/addons/blazblue-chrono-phantasma-lobby-char-xblaze-1/cid=UP1024-NPUB31277_00-BBCPPS3000054000?smcid=ps:nav-playstation-store https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/games/addons/blazblue-chrono-phantasma-lobby-char-magical-beat-1/cid=UP1024-NPUB31277_00-BBCPPS3000051000?smcid=ps:nav-playstation-store
