okay so Nehle posted somewhere some basic bubble-loop setups that work on most characters and i wanted to practice that combo but i forgot where it was posted can somebody direct me to that post cause i cant find it anywhere
-
so j.2S is trow invincible in the console version as well? thats awesome
-
i guess i dint word that correctly, i was thinking that perhaps there's some confusion because some moves are different in the Arcade version. I personally have never been air-trown out of J.2S in the arcade, but i have been air-trown out of it in the home edition
-
as far as trow invincible stuff, i've heard that there are differences in some move properties in the arcade and console version. The latest update for the arcade is AC+ wich is basically the console version pluss Kliff and Justice

i've never been able to air trow somebody's burst on reaction. The few times i've done it is when my opponent gets predictible with the his Burst and i've been able to anticipate it It seems like you have to expect it in order to get the air trow, there's a difference bewtween expecting something and reaction to it vs. just randomly seeing it and reaction to it

machtup ratings aren't solid unless both players are aware of all the advanteges and disadvantages of the characters. When both players know excatly waht to do then you can talk ratings. BTW anybody know if were ever getting a machtups sub-forum cause we got more thatn enougth info in this thread

the problem with running away with Dizzy is that she gets shot, alot there has to be a way to outpoke him its just really retarded that his normals have so much range:(
-
superjump or regular jump?
-
yeah the bazzoka was giving you a lot of trouble we need to learn to 1-frame jump
-
maeby a 1 frame jump:Slant?:
-
okay so i played a robo-ky for the first time, interesting machtup his normals seem to be better thatn mine and once he starts using level-3 rocket he gets a very easy 50/50. I also found it hard to anti-air him. So it seems like i would have to avoid letting him get 50% energy cause once he does his offence is just too good. Any thougths?
-
really on everybody? i've had trouble landing some bubble loops because of character differences, but i'll try to practice these comboes thanx
-
another thing wacth out for his anti-air, it has retarded range and he gets a good combo off it
-
yeah i've been trying that as well the thing is when timing those tech traps i sometimes jump to early and i cant air trow them because of those dam trow invinvible frames
-
kazuki rates it 5.5/4.5 in Dizzy's favor wich is pertty close if you think about it i agree with Kazuki cause if both players know how to play, Dizzy only has a sligth advantege
-
i was wondering about millia as well i've only played one millia player but he sucked so it doest count. As for bridget im wondering is the macthup in my favor or againts me, it seems both characters can zone pretty well but bridget also has that delayed wake,up i have to9 worry about when implementing my oki. What would be the best fish combination againts Bridget HS,K or HS,HS?
-
okay so i've played an Eddie in a tournament that was good at doing the unblockable setup after the combo, you know the one where he comboes you and drops a puddle so on wakeup you get caugth, dizzied and IK. I was wondering I know you can burtst but if you dont have a brust can you reversal coffin super since its invincible on start up to avoid?

Okays so we all know Dizzy has a good throw range, so its very important to be able to mix up when using your pressure strings with a throw(especially when your opponent is in the corner. I know of two different techquines when goin for a Dash grab. 1. Running dash grab- while your running and holding foward let your stick go to neutral as soon as you do that tap either back or foward HS to get your throw. 2. Dash Brake Throw- while running use FD to stop your dash as soon as you do that press either foward or back HS to throw your opponent. Both ways of doing you dash throw work fine, I personnaly use both techniques. Im wondering thougth if one of the two is better than the other and if should be using it exclusively?:8/: Any thougths?
-
really?:8/: huh i've never lost on trow attemps againts slayer maeby i just time my trows better than my opponnent
-
he does't have the smae trow range as her, your probally refering to command trow, command trows gennerally have better range than regular trows, however there slower than regular trows, so when slayer is wasking up a well spaced 2k should beat his wake up command trow
-
i had the fortune of playing a japanese slayer in a ranbat( he was visiting his family over the summer) and he was really good, based on my experience playing him i would say that you are absolutly rigth on your analysis of this machtup:eng101: thanx for the input:toot:
-
lol i thougth i was being slick when i started doing that:keke: i guess everybody did that before me, i feel stupid:kitty:
-
yup your rigth a good slayer wont just randomly use BBU but a counter picking slayer would:psyduck: i went to a ranbat and there was like 7 slayers and only 2 were good all the other slayers were just counterpicking. There train of thougth is: "look a Dizzy player let me counter pick Slayer since i get a one hit kill combo off BBU:yaaay: hehehe easy win" fuck that shit if you ever see a slayer player randomly use BBU rape him for it. Actually anybody who's a Dizzy main should take a vow not to lose to people who counterpick like that:cool: PS. In tournaments people tend to counter pick me with either Axl,Chipp, or Slayer.:8/: So if your goin to a tourney make sure your well versed in those machtups
-
yeah i use 2k as one of my main pokes in the slayer macthup:keke: unfortunatly it loses to his stomp:rolleyes:
-
i love using 2k, not only does the animation look really cute:) if you spce it properlly you cant get trown out of it cause her hit box doest move while she's doin 2k
