  1. um I was talking about the NA version for adachi, not the Japanese version, so you should probably think before snapping at someone, why are most of the people in these forums so unpleasent and obnoxious? I haven't been here two months and seriously don't want to be a part of it anymore, my god.
  2. Oh man, 9 days! the great thing that's also getting released before a weekend, I might compile a list of all the info I can find out about each character and game modes (Except Aki, everyone knows he's too complicated lol), other than Adachi being free for the first week, what else is available for the first week for free? I couldn't remember but I don't think Marie was free for the first week for the japanese version.
  3. For some reason after watching that last video I realized that I might've went overboard before, but I'm definetly more optimistic about Liz in Ultimax now. At first I thought Damosu used Mind Charge just to get Meter, however it looks he also used it to get the awakening version attacks, I can just imagine fighting a normal opponent at match point while Liz is in Awakening and the opponent has no burst and doing a complete 180. I wonder if we can do this with Mamudoon too, and I LOVE how he caught that first round with Debilitate, so cool! it's like he said "I'm going to use my charge move against a charge character"
  4. I wish someone could put all those niconico videos on YT is anyone planning on getting the Japanese version? I already pre-ordered my U.S copy and I will buy the japanese digital version on release, I don't mind the double-dipping, but creating a JP PSN and figuring out how to add 7,000 yen worth of PSN cards was a hassle XD, so I'll be able to play around with some characters, mainly Liz, who else might get the japanese version? EDIT: good jesus! I just saw the Hama combo! wow, looks like it actually is finally practical, Damosu is awesome! this could make any shadow fight a sinch, Yayyy!
  5. Although I still don't think that Mahamaon is practical (it still requires lots of Meter, setup, time) I sure hope you're right about everything else and that she may be overall better, hopefully we can tell when the game is released.

Sorry for double posting and I'm sorry if this is a bit too pessimestic but I have to say this, I'm sure that all Liz mainers and enthusiasts like me here, especially ones who have been tracking her closely, are aware that things haven't been looking that great for Liz in Ultimax, sure some argue she's the same, some argue she's better/worse etc, but let's look over a couple of things, she has lesser damage from her skill attacks, in Arena she can easily get between 3500 to 4000 plus damage with 25 meter which she could easily steal the match with, now it seems without Fear, poison and/or Debilitate she has much lesser damage than in Arena, this irritates me beyond belief, the fact that ASW let already too strong characters like Narukami retain their Skill attack damage while making an already bad character like liz have LESS damage is just unbelievable, and if that's not enough, instead of giving her a new actual damaging super or a better overhead normal option or fix Mamudoon and Mahamaon instead of being practically useless (even disappearing on block) or at the very least replace them with something viable, we get a counter, that has a risky charge motion, this is also something that irritates me, they give characters like Yosuke a new super AND new skill attack, Narukami even gets a new skill attack,a new over-powered super (that doesn't need his persona and doesn't even require him to be in awakening) and a new Hidden super, we get it Atlus, you want to over emphasize Narukami, even if it means making him cheaper than ever before. this is the most thing that bothered me about her changes, during the early stages of Ultimax, Liz looked so much better, she had cool stuff like two ice wave Mabufudyne, which looked so awesome, now ASW trashed so many important things about her, 5D has pathetic range, B Bufu doesn't freeze like it did before, so we need SB Bufu to go into Maragidyne wich has less hits now and SB Maragi has the Pillars go forwards then backward instead of twice like in Arena, Mind Charge was one of Liz's most important attacks in Arena, the great thing about it is that you can combo into it and out of it while recovering blue health, now we have to choose between quick recovery but no blue health or getting blue health but having longer recovery, or use even MORE meter for the SB version, it's like she has to reach awakening to be decent, ASW made characters like Kanji, Naoto, and Yukiko better, why can't they do so with Liz? this is something that I consider very important, one reason why I loved Liz in arena was that she looked so cool, her combos looked so big and fun, like 2C into B bufu with thanatos doing that awesome animation with his coffins releasing the ice, then into SB maragi that had two pillars at once, now her combos don't look quite as fun. and as much as I love Liz's ability to inflict nearly every ailment, I dislike having to go through so many gimmicky things just to trick the opponent, now it seems in order to be effective, we have to go through poison/fear and now negative penalty, it's like ASW said "let's take away her damage but give her a new move that's a counter in order to deal good damage, which provides another obstacle before she can actually do damage, that'll keep her from being totally bad" in Arena we had good damage right off the bat, we didn't even need to be in awakening to do it (except for Ghastly Wail, which was also nerfed), I know that the game isn't even released yet and we still don't know much about Debilitate, it could turn out to be a good-reversal for all we know. it just saddens me that ASW could not see how much potential they had with Liz for the sequel, they could have made her amazing, they could have blown her out and made her something, really the Liz that everyone wanted, but instead they would rather work on everyone else but her. Again I say this not to be pessimistic and I'm really sorry if anyone didn't like what I mentioned, but I waited for a long time before really reflecting on this, I thought with the patch update and with the days leading up to the japanese release, ASW would actually do something great with her, but who knows? maybe at release she could actually be better, or maybe ASW would finally make her into a viable character through patches or something, but that's just wishful thinking on my part.

I noticed something interesting in Damosu's Poison and Debilitate combo video, when Thanatos does 2D into 5C, it looks like he uses his position from 2D as opposed to how 2D basically reseted his postion back to Liz in Arena, similar to how J.C keeps his position, also his recovery from 2D looks MUCH more faster as he was able to use 5C almost right after spraying the poison, I don't recall being able to pick up from 2D's position before, either way, 2D seems alot more interesting in Ultimax

I doubt they would show something then remove it, then show it again then remove it again at release (in this case invigorate) ,at least not something as big as a character's unique skill, a good example of this is Rise's Satellite super gauge (Risette Field) ,it was in her trailer and she still has it, not to mention that it was also in her english trailer, so there's a good chance that if Margaret's trailer has Invigorate, it will probably stick with her release, and what "things" have been changed in character trailers? other than Persona cards, there hasn't been any actual changes in the character's themselves or their abilities, plus the trailers for Ultimax barely show what characters are capable of, so it can be difficult to decide what changes and what doesn't. Has it been confirmed that Margaret is the Very last character for Ultimax? or is it possible for characters to appear in the future? because I think someone mentioned she's absolutely the last character in the game, similar to BBCP getting Lambda and Celica, I hope its the latter.
  9. When is the Margaret trailer coming out?! my patience is waning rapidly! plus we have to know if she has Invigorate or not, I'm sure the trailer will confirm that.

Ooooo you're right, but it could be possible that it was used when it was foggy then she switched the weather through a super or another method, then again I could be wrong, Ugh there are too many variables with Marie! but that's why we love her! I'm also gonna add that it did 1200 damage, I forgot to add that
  12. Yeah but the problem is that we don't exactly know if it's from one of her bag items, specials or it even could be related to the weather (Fog-AmenoSagiri maybe?) there's nothing concrete about it, but I will add it to the Moves list as a Misc. Nice Eye! no Pun intended XD
  13. If Marie has a red lock, then shouldn't adachi have one too? since he's also DLC

Is it possible that the select screen they showed is not the final one? cause if it was, then the Margaret, Marie and Adachi slots will probably have the random slot if no DLC is bought, then again one could argue that it is absolutely the final version, because the japanese release is so close and since the lobby trailer is supposedly showing in-game content, but I find it weird that Margaret's slot might be all the way to the top left, since she's a Velvet Room attendant and not human like Liz, it would've been cool if she was in the middle. and I never realized how close the japanese release is, can't wait to see character combos and videos!
  15. although you're free to say what you want about navigators, there's no need to be such a dick about it and telling people that they must've had a hard in the RPG and that talking about them is "putting you off", I personally never cared about them, but many people find them annoying and unnecessary, and it would be nice for everyone to choose whether to use them or turn them off completely. no need to attack others for wanting something different than what you like or prefer.
  16. I compiled a list of all the info on Marie we have till now, keep in mind that this is purely based on what little we know so far, so there's a good chance I may be wrong in certain places. Weather effects 1.Rainy: gives Marie an HP-up gauge above her SP gauge, possibly recovers HP like Elizabeth's Invigorate, Other effects currently unknown. 2.Cloudy: effects currently unknown. 3.Sunny: effects currently unknown. Normals 5A: Marie does a short ranged kick, looks decently fast, maybe around 5-7 frames, could be a standing low like Yukari. 5AA: Marie hops forward and attacks with her knees, possibly makes her airborne. 5AAA: Marie spins and swings her Bag in a 360-like motion. 5B: Marie Swings her Bag upwards in front of her, seems like it has good range, J.A: Marie does a quick, short ranged Karate chop, looks like a good jump-in, can be used in combos. J.B: Marie swings her Bag out in front of her, looks like a good air-to-air with decent horizantal range, can be used in combos. 2.B: Marie Crouches and swips her hat upwards, seems to have really good vertical reach, can be used in combos. Persona Attacks: 5C: Kaguya appears and does an upward, leaning strike with her hand above her, the actual hitbox looks like it's much bigger than it seems. 2C: Kaguya does a downwards strike with her hand, sends opponent downwards. System moves: Sweep: Marie slides her Bag downwards in front of her while crouching. Grab: Marie grabs her opponent with both hands and tranfers Electricity from her body into the opponent's before knocking them back, possibly causes shock ailment afterwards, does 1000 Damage. Specials Bag Special: Marie's Bag swings itself forward, followed by Marie jumping up and grabbing the bag before attacking with her bag in a downwards movement, Air OK, second hit might possibly be an overhead. Supers Magatama Super: Marie hovers in the air before causing a crystal-like wave around her, doesn't seem that Kaguya is needed for this Super. Arcana Super: Marie tosses a bunch of Tarot cards at the opponent, The tarot cards spin around the opponent, Kaguya appears before a certain Arcana is revealed, so far only Emperor and the Empress are shown to appear, could possibly change the weather depending on which card appears, other effects and properties are unknown, could also be based on what weather effect is in play. Bag items Puppet Igor: Marie pulls out an Igor Puppet from her Bag, seems like it has a big vertical hitbox. Present: Marie pulls out a small, pink present, the present itself actually jumps forward. Other/Misc. Aeon Rain?: Kaguya sends out Golden Kunai-like projectiles to attack the opponet. Ameno-Sagiri Eye?: An eye or possibly eye-like projectile that disappears before reappearing at a new location, seems to activate when it makes contact with the opponent, does 1200 damage
  17. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=56vJY2m8Lb4 I told you Rurouni! at 2:41 Rise's No Touching! detonated the notes, I'm almost certain she can do this at mid-range too, so that's one more attack we have that can detonate notes, which makes 5B, J.B, 2B Rock You! and No Touching! EDIT: meant to post this earlier, looks like depending on the placement of each of the ROCK YOU! notes, One note could be detonated while the other can be saved for later purposes, Like using 5B while the upper note is high enough so that only the lower get's detonated, I hope this opens up combos, mixups or pressure options, imagine using the notes as combo extenders!
  18. Man, am I the only one who thinks Margaret is sexy? and Yoshitsune, Finally! but what happened to Invigorate? Did ASW find her too OP and decided to remove it? 9 Persona Cards seems like a bit too much, either she's going to be absoulte trash without them or she might have some cool mechanic around it, like 3 cards for each persona or something? There's is a possibility that ASW are still testing her out, so at release she might still get Invigorate.
  19. so it possible to say that Adachi is a Grappler-Hybrid? I'm liking how he's turning out so far, at first he seemed kinda meh but now he's looking so much more fun!
  20. does anybody know why some of his Persona attacks are unburst-able? is it something story related or is it because they have Command grab-ish properties? I hope it's the latter, those Magatsu-Izanagi stomps look cool

Looks like helel will be in her instant kill, Could be Morning star or Megidolaon? also Yay for her Getting Invigorate with Liz!! anyone notice how in the one screenshot she had What I believe to be Ardha using an attack but had possibly Cu Chulainn in the Mini T.V but in the other screenshot Cu Chulainn was attacking Yu and was in the Mini T.V? could be that Cu Chulainn is her Main Persona while the others are for other/ super attacks Similar to Ken, but I could be totally wrong about this. EDIT: also, love the fact that she has a compendium with her, I hope she uses it for some of her attacks like Lizzie

But I'm mad for all the wrong reasons that Mag is playable, cause now there are too many characters in this game I like and wanna try, I wonder how her playstyle is, with 3 personas, she could be similar to SHO in that she has 3 persona buttons and one for her "Drive" or normal persona-less attacks. or she could have different stances or something like that, similar to how Ken can summon KoroKoro or Aigis switching Orgia/Regular Mode. all three of her Persona, Yoshitsune, CuChulainn and Ardha are mostly or have some skills that are Physical oriented, she could be a physical version of Liz, rather than Elemental attacks, she'd use stuff like God's Hand, Power charge, null physical and hopefully, HOPEFULLY! Hassou Tobi!

The Eye in her trailer first was on the left then disappeared to the right before attacking the Yu for 1200 dmg, it could be useful for certain situations or possibly zoning, still no idea though, I'm really liking how Marie's turning out! also some other notes: she so far has two non-Awakening supers Her throw did 1000 on normal hit (in the rain)
  25. so how many of his moves inflict fear? and does he have any other statues ailments to inflict? EDIT: So he can do both fear and confusion, that's interesting.
