  1. hey yall...im picking up millia and im trying to find combos and shyt but this is the thing...they are so spread out...can someone make a sub forums kinda like the match up and just make it like slayer combos etc for easy reference?
  2. after a blocked burst u can horsie if u have lvl 3 on it....also u can do 5s into 5hs frc....also you can do 5k,5s, into air combo....and for some reason if u dont do any of those just run up and grab them....they will probably be on defense after a blocked burst anyways....pretty simple shyt...what yall robo ky players should work on is ur zoning game...cause really robo ky dont have great mixups as it is.....also punishing to the max after u get counter hits etc....
  3. i really dont use 5k as oki cause you will get punished by uppercut characters or by supers if u do it alot.....
  4. my fav is uppercut rc command grab get a knockdown do the punch super into command grab. 2k into 2hs frc then dust is good level 2 or 3 steam into dust also the level 3 horsie if opponent is in corner to cross up is good robo dash frc throw
  5. dumb quick question.....if you ib the 5hs 3 hits is it safe to shoryuken IF SHE DOESNT DO ANYTHING AFTER 5HS????

  7. yeah go for the combo iora.....if you wanted tension u should lay the mat after the 2s right?? now for a question...the robo ky multi missile combos (you know the ones where you get like 3 missiles in a row on an air combo) is it based on heat to get more hits or just very situational??

  10. congrats iora!!!!! i like the 5hs frc alot....btw what air combo did you use the jk,js,jk dust? or did you start it with js? Also you can do horsie, 5s, 5hs frc to combo as well But now that you can do the horsie 5hs frc i bet you will be winning more matches lol!!!!!!!!!
  11. For the record my strats are based upon tournament slayers only not playing the same slayer on a day to day basis

  13. wow not alot of advice on slayer....guess its up to me to provide some info....Note that i dont know names of moves so imma do my best to describe it or tell u the rotation of it..sorry Ok first thing is first... openers - Recommend to block or you can use jump P. Those 2 options are the safest....Also 6p works too but some moves beat it out. Zoning game. The hardest of all right here....i recommend building meter the fastest way you know how...its hard to zone on slayers because he can dash and his 236 p goes like halfway across the screen..if you have distance i suggest trying to robo dash or shoot missles and upon him blocking them run in for some kind of mixup....try not to use 2k in this match too often cause 2hs of slayer move will lead to combo...robo ky farslash is useable at the right distance and for tryin to beat the other slayer to the punch of a move he is tryin to do. Priority and frames -the good thing about slayer is that he can spam random crap on you and he still is in frame advantage. So here are some things u can do when he does his dump stuff. Slayer 236p - if u time this right you can 6p him out of it. sometimes on block u can punish it depends how deep in he is on u afterwards. (dont know the names of the move but imma try to explain how it looks) Slayer faint backwards into the slash overhead, the kick that hits upwards, and the super punch move that has an ex version as well - the faint into the 2 hits that one hit over head he can actually recover faster that you can so if he does that i suggest not hitting a button because after that move he can faint backwards and do something else. If anything place a mat, superjump out of situation or backdash...the kick that hits upwards you have to False defense in air....afterwards you can punish him hard. the super punch i have tried alot of things to see what beats it out and nothing does!!! if he does this move or u suspect that he might dont do anything and just block. he can actually spam this move quite alot so u might feel like u are stuck blocking but do not try to counter that move please!!!!! The only time its safe to punish after he does this if he has no meter!!!!! If you read above u might think that this matchup sucks for robo ky and it does indeed...now i will get into what u can do in situations in more depth. Remember how i said to gain tension asap...well this is where it comes in handy...horsie is ur key in this battle. Horsie level 3 beats out alot...ill go over what the do beat out.... Slayers faint moves....if u horsie level 3 right when u first see the faint starting up it will beat it out. also horsie level 3 beats his backdashes and forward dissapearing dashes. level 3 horsies beats out slayer 2hs stomp as well....goes clean over it!!!! key tips to winning this battle- in air false defense....slayer 236D will kill you if u dont. also slayer can faint into the kick that hit upwards. slayer j Hs is really hard to beat....your j hs is good to but at the right distance...if you both are jumping at the same time use j hs if there is like medium distance between you and him. if you are upclose try to use jump p or k and very close try to air throw..... on ground and he is jumping in on you try to use 2hs only...everything else he beats out....when using 2hs make sure he is gonna land right on the missle and if you do 2hs late u will get counter hitted so make sure its more of an anticipation rather than a reaction kinda thing. 2k in this match= death. 6p beats out alot of moves but not the faint into the super punch (nothing does). last but not least build meter for horsie!!!!!!!!!

  15. what about just FD the venom then when there is enough space superjump and dash afterwards to escape the corner....or FD him (not the balls) then when enough space is avalible 6p....or another option during the ball rushdown is instant block the balls (or the last one) then if he is gonna run in uppercut his ass

  17. yeah im finding it hard to land the loop on people...and when i do land it they burst and it takes forever for me to get another opportunity....
  18. i temporarily took the battery out of my robo ky....after placing 6th at a mass tourney and losing to a sol bad guy im using more may now a days....but i havent stopped playing him just messing with another character right now...good news is that i won a robo vs robo 5v5 ny vs TGA match
  19. may...im lovin it!!!! Sorry i havent been around recently in the may forums....but im still a strong may player...everyone i play using may and i win they be like dolphin spammer.... anyways got a few questions. im trying to work on moves like chains that end with the dolphin landing right in the opponents grab range for a command grab into loop....and suggestions? also i know a few of those but lets say sometimes i get jabbed out of them...i was thinking in a chain when i end it with a Slash dolphin in the opponent face and i dont wanna go for a command grab would 2k be the best option for a fast followup if the opponent expects me to grab and tries to beat out my move?
  20. where are the robo heads? anyways....in the corner i was seeing that you can combo off of 6p if you dont shoot all 3 shots but only the 1st one....
  21. btw...any of yall know where to find alot of dogura vids besides youtube.....cause even though he is the best i feel like he always be playing pots,venom, may, and millia only...i wanna see him play axel,eddie, testament slayer etc..
  22. when i first started playing AC no one took it easy on me...at least you have begineers that are on ur level...everyone around me were top players in that area and it sucked so it took time but im top in the area now....stick with it and go on youtube and type in guilty gear accent core robo-ky and u will find good matches...just steal data like roboky command grab lol

  25. like this weekend i lost to a testament at a tournament......i beat this guy plenty of times before but i lost and was like wtf.....i did robo dash and he kept countering me with that testament poison shyt....doing wake up super like the poison one cause i used the wrong oki....(used 5k instead of 5p) and all types of dumb shyt...thought about switching to venom cause i would have more control on what im doing and the lockdown with him is insane but i really like the zoning game i use with robo-ky and everytime i watch dogura i feel like robo ky is the shyt!
