Found a more optimized FC 5C combo in the corner. Doesn't use Grav Seed either. CH 5C > 6B > 5C > 214D > 6A > 5C > 6C > 236C > 22D > 2D > JC > j.5D > j.6D > JC > j.2D > j.214D (4628, +34) Edit: Found a even more optimized combo. CH 5C > 6B > 5C > 214D > 5C > 6C > 236D > 236C > 22D > 2D > JC > j.6D > j.5D > j.214D (4719, +34) Midscreen CH 5C > 6B > 5C > 214D > 6A > 5C > 6C > 236D> 236C > 2D > JC > j.6D > j.5D > j.214D (4529, +34) I'll try to see if I can optimize those other starters soon. -

I don't think its that bad that you have to be crouching to pick up the drink/curry. If you drop drink/curry on oki chances are your opponent aren't going to take it so they'll standing block and just get opened up by 2A. If they do crouch, they'll eat an unblockable from rage drink or you get a free tick grab from curry inflicting fear.

I like to use 6B in this matchup because it can catch his full screen command grab if he tries for it. I believe you can't do it on reaction because at that point his command grab would already have hit you, so basically you want to condition him not to use it by tagging him with 6B enough beforehand. Also if there's a puddle on him i'd assume 623A/B would be good at stopping him from using that or pressing buttons in general. Also 236B is very important being it stops his flight dash in's and hinders air movement in general, giving you cover to get in. You can also just dash under his flight if anything. Aside from those two parts of the MU, his pressure will be something you have to deal with being Carmine with no reversal options, so i'd say to just be patient and look for any holes in his offense so you can then begin yours from there.

That route seems unstable, and they're are already better midscreen options for Carmine i'd say. If you want a j6B route i'd do this: 5B > 5C > 2C > j6B | > jC > jB > jA | > 3C > 2C > 623B >... ....66C > 236A or 214[A] ....2C > 236A or 214[A] And a route with more corner carry would be: 5B > 5C > 2C > 6B > 2C > 236A > j[C] | > 662B > jA > jB > jC | > 3C > 2C > 236A or 214[A]

I don't know if you guys are still having trouble with getting the 3C>2C oki where timing is harder, but I found a way to make it easier. After a 2B pick up into the jABC sequence, you can just delay the jA. You still immediately jump cancel the 2B but just delay the timing in which you jA. If you do that, after the jC you'll be way closer to the ground giving you the ability to connect 3C faster than usual. Hope this helps you guys out if needed.
