Fatal Seabass

If I told you that I'd have more fun with DFC than I have other fighting games that recently came out, I'd probably be lying. But this game is really fun and really captures what I like about assist based games and/or fighting games in general. Also, I made a video showcasing some of the new assists. Tatsuya feels really really good. I am loving the character so far, but I am having issues knowing the exact parameters for his resurrection. I know that you must have Power Blast available but does it need to be the final round as well? Does he need Trump too?

Accelerator's 5S no longer causes hard knockdown on the final bounce. They now flip out of the air. Secondly, Dokuro's 5S bounces the opponent slightly higher than before, making followups require either a change or different timing. Interesting.

Anyone have any idea what Kazari Uiharu's 6S do? This one has me stumped, lol.

Fang looks fine. I like how some people are of the impression that Street Fighter has always been a super realistic series with serious characters but forget that every iteration, even including the ones from the very beginning, have had comical characters not to be taken too seriously. And he's clearly not a joke fighter. Not sure why anyone would think that. Is it because of his appearance and mannerisms? I guess Birdie's a joke character too since he eats donuts and peppers in comical fashions. Lets be real here.

So what I'm hearing is that Ranked matchmaking may be region locked? I'm not 100% sure but it appears that results for both JPN and NA are drawing a difference in terms of the volume of players that each are getting. I'm going to try and test it out. If anyone knows any more details and could elaborate, it would be much appreciated.

I truly do hope that both Alex and Urien are in. I would love to see how they're implemented in a modern day Street Fighter. As for DLC, the potential is limitless. Granted, I'd love to see the characters who haven't had a chance given a shot first i.e several Third Strike characters, but it is what it is.

Exactly. You have 721 unique Pokemon to choose from. You literally choose...another Pikachu? I couldn't care less how different they play from each other. In a Pokemon fighter, I'm looking to explore my character options among the wide and diverse cast that Pokemon has to offer.

Interesting. Erio's 6S is now multihitting and comes back onto the screen similar to Ryuuji. A much needed change to what I always thought was a lackluster assist. I hope other assists got that similar treatment but only time will tell. Dokuro, Accelerator, Kino, and Izaya all seem unchanged, which isn't bad by any means. But I hope other assists were buffed to a level where more would be used in games.

Ken looks great and like a lot of fun. I really like his new design and Capcom's attempt at creating distance between what people consider "clones". That character teased at the end of the trailer looks nothing like Akuma. Capcom wouldn't dare shift his visual design to the point where he looks unrecognizable. Like others have said, it's probably a new character. I still hope Alex, Urien, and Karin are in. At that point, I couldn't really care who else is part of the roster.

From that gameplay video, the blonde haired guy looks like fun. I also like that assist too. I just can't wait to see the changes to the existing characters.
